It seemed so futuristic back then and they still operate all the most cutting edge tanning equipment. Uvasun was always a little more expensive than the other local tanning salons. I see on their website that they now offer to price-match salons within a 5-mile radius on comparable services except spray tans. In addition to state-of-the-art tanning beds and sunless spray tans they also have light therapy, infrared sauna therapy and body contouring with red and infrared light. It's still located in the same nice and modern building on 3rd street. Their hours are Monday to Friday 10am-8pm, Saturday & Sunday 10am-5pm.

So then for my spray tan, she initially told me $48 but I reminded them of my packages to which the manager immediately said NO very stearnly and rudely and just looked at me. I was like, Oh last time I was in I actually bought a package of 3 and have only used 2 so far. They took a long time to check, obviously saw I was right then said my total was $8 with no apology. So uncomfortable and makes what should be a simple & easy, maybe even relaxing experience of breezing in for a tan just horrific. My anxiety when way up and when I got in the room to tan, the younger team member apologized to me for the manager's behavior. I won't be back because of the new, bad management that has taken over. Side note - they no longer heat the spray tan machines so it is ICE COLD and I left a shivering mess. I will not recommend this Palm Beach Tan location moving forward, after telling others how great staff was there for years. Ah well!

I guarantee this is an extremely unique experience for them, and they were absolutely not smart enough, not caring enough to be accommodating and inclusive. I even told the spray tan girl who was some younger 20s blonde girl from Florida who was dumb as rocks because I told her that I'm a pre-op trans woman, and she looked at me before and goes slay girl! Then proceeded to treat me like a man. This company did absolutely nothing but give me the runaround when I complained about it. They said they would talk to the company and see if they can change the verbiage on the website and in the training so that they know what a trans person is and a month later nothing has changed on their website and I doubt anything has happened behind the scenes except them seeing me as a crazy person when I'm simply just trying to get spray tan like every other woman and had a mortifying experience that no trans person should ever have to go through.
