One of the best UV tanning salons I have been to! Your first visit they solicit you slightly about buying lotions and packages but as soon as decline, they do not push sales! I found out about Glo Sun Spa through a Groupon that included 2 spa services and a year of basic UV tanning. I purchased a lotion on my first visit and they extended my package to include a month of Luxury-level UV tanning and 8 additional spa services. I have indulged in the HaloTherapy, Hydration Therapy, and Oxygen Therapy so far and just those 3 services are totally worth even the full-priced membership. The service at this location is AMAZING! Best Glo Sun Spa I have gone to yet! read more

Though I called and canceled my membership, these people keep trying to build my card every other day. While the friendly and equipment was somewhat modern, I got the impression that the ownership was purely money, oriented, and and did not care about customer service, which seems to be the case as I continuously get charged though I canceled read more

Amazing salon! 1960 staff is on point! Always friendly and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend coming here! read more

Glo Sun Spa - Houston - Amazing bed! - Spray Tanning Near Me - Houston, Texas

Rude. Hostile. Racist. Forced to listen to a sales pitch. Verbally assaulted with curse words for absolutely no reason. Not worth it. Go else where. Terrible ownership. read more

Clean Great beds Sometimes busy with chatty cathys who have to ask 1000 silly questions, so there will be a wait. The problem I have it: are they serious? Closing at 6pm on a Saturday ? Huh ? Some of us work weekends and need evening hours to tan. I like to get my tanning done while my boyfriend is at work and noooo. Ridiculous and no excuse to close that early. This is why competitors get more business because they choose to be open during normal peak hours . read more

Clean and friendly environment, reasonably priced and glad that there are no high sales pitch pressure. Steve the owner is usually at the front desk to greet you! read more

Best Tanning Salon I've visited. I move all over the US and I've been to all sorts of chains...this is by far the best. Only place I'll tan! Well worth the monthly price plus they sell the DS Primer which is hard to find and makes you twice as dark! Highly recommend! Thanks Steve for running a great business! read more

Spray tan booth is fine. Memberships are pricey...deposited, fees...it adds up. Too many other places out there that don't require deposits.

I Love this place! It has given me time to relax when I have been out of work due to an injury. Tammy is so amazing and knowledgeable about all the products and equipment. She does not rush you or pushy when coming to sell the products. She is very nice, caring and made great suggestions towards my needs for pain control. The place is so neat and clean. All the machines are Amazing! I highly recommend this Salon. It has reasonable prices for all that is included. I will not be going back to DT. Tammy and her staff try to get to know you. It seems they remember and know all the clients names. Love this place! read more

So I just made the switch from DT to solar lounge. When I informed Darque tan I would be going to Solar Lounge, DT tried to bad mouth them.. I'm so glad I did not listen!! I have a medical reason for tanning due to my skin condition so this is a vital part of my life. I called solar lounge a few weeks ago and Tammy answered the phone, she knew I was t quite ready to switch yet but she still took so much time with me over the phone. She was sooooo helpful and kind. So I went in to sign up finally and met Gabby. She was so energetic and enthusiastic about the beds and amenities (which are endless!!) (they are even building a hot yoga room inside the salon) she showed me the whole salon and told me about all their products WITHOUT coming off pushy. My next visit I met Tammy face to face and what a doll she is!! Customer service- 5 Cleanliness-5 Price -5 Value-5 Thank you for loving your customers and what you do!! Tammy and Gabby, you ladies rock!! read more

So I never leave a bad review but this is sad. The owners changed to Glo and I called and they told me I needed to do a new contract. Well to say the least I did not sign a new contract with Glo but I got a bill as if I did. I will be taking further action. In addition the only reason I continued to use this place is because of Tammy's customer service but she's no longer there. Sad sad sad. Charging me but you changed your business. read more

Hands down the number one place to get your tan on in Nortwest Houston. I'm no tan expert or know-it-all by no means but my experience here for the past 7 months or so have been top notch. I've been to few other chains over the years and was dissatisfied with the facility and customer service. Solar Lounge exceeded and beyond. Their establishment is very clean, sanitary, comfortable and a nice charming ambiance. Convenient safe location with plenty of parking. Open 7 days a week at reasonable hours. There is never a wait. Your in, do your thing and your out. They offer different styles and ways of tanning and toning your skin to your liking at great prices. Tammy is simply Amazing. She is very helpful and knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions on All their products they have to offer to allow you to achieve best results. She takes pride in what she does. Always smiling, friendly and full of positive energy. Just like it should be. 10 stars. If you need to tan, tone or whatever, go see or call Tammy at Solar Lounge... read more

Excellent customer service. Spa is clean, staff very helpful and sweet. Alexa was EXTREMELY helpful signing me up for my membership package. She went out of her way to contact me with available options and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and well taken care of on my visit. Highly recommend this Spa. read more

I signed up for the monthly package about three weeks ago and I am ready to give my yelp review. I must say I am pleased, Solar Lounge is clean and uses all effective hygiene with clean towels and robes. Solar Lounge offers bed, stand up and spray tanning, a hydrating bed like a sauna but laying in a massage bed, Slim-IT body Wrap bed yes it gets hot but it felt great. They also offer Beauty Angel Red Light therapy to help out with that cellulite! The only thing I have not tried is the spray tan, I am pleased to say I have found the last "tanning" place I will be visiting because I will not be going anyplace else. Ashley and Tammy are very friendly and knowledgeable and have made some very good recommendations. If you are looking for a tanning place that is a full service lounge then give them a chance you may like what you find, I did. read more

I meant to write this over a month ago! As I promised the owner I would because I was so happy with my experience. I had a horrible experience at Darque Tan and was in desperate need of a spray tan before leaving for a trip. I was in a bind and yelped tanning places and found this place. I saw the awesome reviews and I called to be greeted by a nice girl who explained the prices and I told her I was on my way. The place was super cute and cozy and I was able to meet the owner. She was great. They offered me the deals they do with the spray tans but I was in such a rush and didn't have the money to pay extra at the moment. Basically, my tan turned out awesome and I WILL DEFINITELY be returning ASAP! Visit this place if you haven't. Promise you won't be disappointed. read more

First, I'm extremely picky on my salons! I moved from Chicago 5 years ago and wanted to try tanning to even my tan lines out. I did some research and looked into a different tanning salon first, tried them and didn't care for their beds, service or cut throat selling they had going on. So with some more digging I found this salon. I must say with a warm entry and having someone who knew the products and beds so well, I knew from the start it was going to be a beautiful friendship! I've been with this salon location for over 3 years and I won't go anywhere else. Go see Ashlea and tell her I sent you!!! read more

I was really nervous about getting a spray tan for the first time, but Tammy put my mind at ease and talked me through the whole process. I've been a couple of times now and I'm so happy with the whole experience. Friendly and helpful staff, clean and well-appointed facilities, and some great package deals. I love this place! read more

I love this location, Nikki is amazing she always makes my day when I come in ! The beds are nice and the spa is always clean

After moving to back to Houston recently I started tanning at solar lounge and have loved my experience. Everyday when I come in I am greeted with the nicest staff. After a long day at work I look forward to seeing Ashlea when I come into the salon because she seems genuinely interested in me and my life and is very easy to get along with and talk to. Highly recommend this salon! read more

Tammy is the best manager this establishment has ever had. She makes the most effort to get to know her customers and make sure they are satisfied with their tanning packages and purchases. She is the reason I have continued to tan at Solar Lounge for so many years. What an incredible asset to this company and any company really! Fantastic employee!! read more

After asking an account be discontinued and doing their paper work in March, 2015, 15 months later still billing us. We moved from Houston, TX in June of 2015 no patronage for a year and a half, the business collecting free money, we are not even living in the same state. After asking the account be closed and collecting 329$ The owner's solution to the request to shut down the account pay my late/ collection fees. Ultimately bad customer service with a hack owner who cares only about his bottom line. read more
