As we are in our 60's (shh, don't tell Jane I said that...she turns 60 in November!) we tend to split meals when eating out but opted not to this time. Slow walk-down: My friend and I had been burned and left wanting after a less than fruitful visit to another establishment earlier in the day...(see: my review of Lou's Brew Cafe). Came across this food truck at the Appleton Farmers Market. Saw some folks eating their jambalaya…read moreand asked what they thought. They said it was so good it is the only reason they come to the market every week. Well, that was enough info for us to give them a try. We decided to get a quart of jambalaya to take home (it was 9:00 am and a little too early to eat such spice). They have the option of purchasing different sizes and provide reheating instructions. You can also get a bowl while there and they have other menu items as well. OMG! The jambalaya was fantastic!! No wonder those folks come back every week. We might have to go back next week too!

We were in Appleton and I realized they had a storefront so we stopped in. The store is small but has a selection of cheese, milks and local products as well as Lamers merch and some souvenirs. They sell servings of ice cream and have a couple of tables where families were enjoying their treats and visiting. We got some milk, cheese and chocolates. I'm looking forward to picking up some of their heavy whipping cream and half and half, all of which all of which are made from their rBGH-free milk. Good stuff from Wisconsin!
