Loved how spacious this store was and really well laid out the floor plan is - everything is grouped together really logically. Also one of the neatest clearance racks I have ever seen at a Torrid store - sizes were in a proper ascending order and not only that, but there were separate circular racks! I.e. All clearance pants were in one spot, then another one held dresses, etc. Very impressed and will be back! Note: #94 of Yelp 100 challenge for 2016

I'm glad that there remains a decent brick-and-mortar purveyor of men's clothing and accessories within the Mid-South. (On-line shopping is a very poor substitute for physically examining products and trying on clothing.) All in all, I have no complaints about the quality of service from the employees. Plus, the seasonal sales here can really save the attentive consumer some serious coin. I recommend this store, I plan to continue patronizing it.

This is the closest location to my home and I stop by pretty regularly for gifts and my own personal shopping experiences. I have always found the associates quite helpful in every area I visit. I am probably in the men's dress clothes and scents areas the most often. I do tag along with the bride a good bit as well. She probably likes it here more than me so I get to see all the lady stuff too. She is especially fond of the purse section I have noticed. As far as scents are concerned, there is significant savings if you buy online, but you can't smell them online. I find success in asking the ladies for the "best smelling, least popular scents". I don't want to smell like everybody else. LOL. '24 - 22/100

She was managing that location as well as taking shift at her original location causing her to fall asleep behind the wheel of her car causing her to have an accident by working over 80/hrs a week for over a month! When her district mana her finally told her to stay at collierville and get that store to journeys standard they hired a district manager in trainings gf (ash) which at some point started to break things inside the store like a bathroom wall and yell at employees in a very vulgar manner all during work hours even sleeping on the store floor! However she was not fired til she slapped Hailey across the face on day during work hours this was when Hailey filed a police report and told HR about they eventually fired Ash!! A few months later Savannah told Cannon that Hailey was about to get fired but first we are going to demote her but only for $9 an hour, so if she files for unemployment she won't get co-manager pay! After being demoted she got fired 1 day after and Savannah's reasoning for the termination was because Hailey talked about being assaulted by a manager! There was no Nondisclosure form that was signed she has no write ups for her conduct or work ethics maybe because sales of the store were low but she was even with Cannons personal sales numbers and the company even gave cannon a raise! Ok, ladies, if you're like me--40-ish, have young (I mean YOUNG) children, try to take care of…read moreyourself and care how you look (as well as how you come across to others), Lavish is the place to shop! I discovered this gem of a store in Collierville and can't stop visiting every chance I get. My first visit was greeted by Lana and she helped me "find my groove". While I know what I like and what usually works for me, my past decade of local shopping has kept me mostly in Marshall's and TJ Maxx for slightly higher end designer clothing at reasonable prices--when i could find it. I'm sorry but i can be a bit of a clothing snob because I don't like to buy cheaply made clothing when I know I can find better quality made clothes for the same price or slightly higher price. After my youngest child hit 2 yo and I could start taking care of myself a bit, I began to branch out to taking in a few other stores in the Germantown/Collierville area to update my look a bit. The stores I checked out were either a bit too young for how I wanted to dress or a little "too out there" and/or bling-y for my tastes. Then I found Lavish. Everything in the store is tasteful, fabulously fashionable without being too trendy (ahem, rhinestones are not the main draw, thank goodness), and befitting for where I am in my life. Now that I'm in my early 40's and comfortable with who I am, this boutique gives me the extra confidence boost. I have been getting tons of compliments with every piece from this place and everything coordinates well with items I already own. If you feel like you're missing out because there is no Bloomingdales, Saks, NM, or Nordstrom, think again. This place has it covered and I am never shy about checking out the sales rack (many pieces are in the back) to make sure I can max out my purchases. (Forgot to add this review which I had written back in early 2013. My initial visit was October, I believe, of 2012. My mother-in-law always gets me Lavish gift certificates for my birthday now.)

Though it has some awesome clothing and accessory options, it tends to be a little bit pricey. They have an awesome selection of jewelry and accessories. Everything is very unique and I've picked up a few necklaces I wear quite frequently. The clothing runs the gamut from dressy to casual. I'd be happy to wear anything from here, if they had sizes that fit me. All the tags I spotted were very small- like anorexic small. Even hanging on the racks they looked tiny as all get out. The staff left a lot to be desired. I wanted them to be friendly, but I got a much more snobbish vibe from them. In fact, I've only been here once and would love to return to purchase more jewelry options, but have opted to go to Southern Couture just a few blocks away. The staff there is much friendlier and they have reasonable prices and a better selection.
