They carry very trendy women's clothing, shoes and jewelry. I bought a tan and white seersucker dress that has already become my new favorite article of clothing. I can see this boutique becoming a go-to place for me as it's conveniently located right down the road from my office. The owner was super friendly and helpful. The prices were great! Two dresses, two tops and a pair of shoes only set me back $174. I already can't wait to go shop there again!

THE WORST JCPENNEY EVER!! I bought a necklace from them on January 19th and I accidentally broke my…read morenecklace. I took my necklace to this location for a repair. When I walked in I was not greeted by NOONE. I spoke with someone in the jewelry department she gave me an estimate for a necklace that I purchased from them for $120 she then sent my necklace off for repair. She advised told me my necklace wouldn't be repaired until the repair place called me with an estimate. TWO WEEKS passed I hadn't heard from anyone so I called no answer. I called a week straight no answer. I decided to call the Jcpenney location at the Wolfchase mall spoke with someone she stated she couldn't find information on my necklace and gave me a number to call. I called the number which was to the repair place spoke with another rude representative who stated the associate wasn't suppose to give me their number and that she couldn't speak with me. I then drove Back to Southaven spoke with the jewelry associate who stated my necklace wasn't sent out until a WHOLE WEEK after I dropped it off she stated the repair place was closed and asked me to call her tomorrow. I call the next day and of course they had their phones off stating no one was available. I then drove down there AGAIN spoke with another associate who advised me she would call the repair place the next morning and call and give me an estimate. She was the ONLY ONE who kept her word. BY THEN WE ARE NOW ON WEEK THREE. She calls and advised the repair place stated to repair my necklace it would cost $125 for the repair And cleaning and stated my necklace had a bend in it which was a Lie because I just got the necklace. so I said i just want my necklace fix so I agree to the repair cost. So BOOM this week the SAME ASSOCIATE calls and says my necklace is ready. So I get down there to pick my necklace up I walk in Still wasnt greeted by NOONE the lady looked me in my face and told the other associate See what this lady wants as if she didn't work there. so the lady brings me my necklace it takes THREE Associates to try and check me out because at this time my total is coming to $64.70 so the lady says well the repair place said it was $125 so that's what we have to charge her yet my receipt says $64.70 so the Lady goes into the system and makes a receipt to total $125 after she gave me a different price. I stood there over 40 minutes waiting to be checked out for a necklace they had an Entire MONTH. I will NEVER visit this location again nor will I EVERY BUY JEWELRY FROM JCPENNEY AGAIN.!!!

This is a Tanger Mall, and although there are lots of deals to be found, you can find additional deals and discounts with the app. After a weekend in Memphis, I went to Southaven to find great deals. I stocked up on Columbia, PUMA, Nike, and Under Armour and even with the USD to CAD exchange rates, I still saved quite a bit of money. There are many stores to choose from, as well as coffee and food options, so that you can recharge and get more shopping done.

I can assure you, the selection and service are exactly why it has been serving select clientele for more than 30 years. Nestled on the far east end of the famous Beale Street Jazz Corridor, and nearly right across Beale from the W.C. Handy Museum, the shop is easily accessible. The selection of men's and women's clothing is, in a word, unique. He offers high fashion shoes, caps, hats, jackets, suits and the like. James caters to a rather exclusive clientele that includes performers who demand a flashy wardrobe to those who insist on high fashion to regular schleps like me who appreciate a fine suit topped off with elegant headgear. In the classic war movie, "12 O'Clock High" we see Mr. Stovall (formerly Major Stovall) leaving a haberdashery in England, proudly wearing a brand new hat. He says to the proprietor of the shop, "Back home I'd buy a hat in 5 minutes. Thank you for an enjoyable hour and 40 minutes." Now, I didn't spend an hour and 40 minutes at Eel-Etc but I did spend the better part of a delightful hour with James as he guided me to the correct selection and proper fitting of a beautiful Panama hat. Although I didn't wear my new Panama hat out of the shop (November is just a bit out of season for it) he did carefully pack it into a hatbox, ensuring a safe journey home for my new treasure. On my next visit to Memphis, you can bet that I will be back on Beale Street and I'll be looking for James. I think I need the perfect jacket to go with my new hat.

The front of the marker reads, "Lansky Brothers was founded in 1946 by Bernard and Guy Lansky with a $125 investment from their father, S. L. Lansky. The store began at 126 Beale Street as an army surplus store, but gradually changed to accommodate customers interested in a one-of-a-kind look. At the time, Beale Street was the center of the African-American social and music scene in Memphis. Bernard traveled the country looking for unique product. Sometimes outrageous, always years ahead of anything else in town, many of the items were made of bright, vivid colors and silky fabrics. Lansky Brothers quickly became the fashion headquarters to musicians and the clothes savvy, including B.B. King, Isaac Hayes, David Porter, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Rufus Thomas." And the reverse, "It was Elvis Presley who helped establish Bernard Lansky's "Clothier to the King" title and allowed for global recognition. Bernard recalls looking up one day and seeing a young man looking at his windows. He walked up to greet him and told him, "Come on in and let me show you around." The young man said "I don't have any money, Mr. Lansky, but when I get rich, I'm going to buy you out." Bernard told him "Don't buy me out. Just buy from me!" Lansky outfitted Elvis for his performances on the Ed Sullivan Show, Dorsey Brothers Show and the Louisiana Hayride. Bernard dressed Elvis in the Pink/Black combination, which defined the cool colors of the '50s era. The Lansky family has cultivated a legacy that is three generations now, and is still operating clothing stores in the lobby of the historic Peabody Hotel." Nice Jewish immigrants from Poland.
