My teeth are in rough shape right now, and after a horrible past dentist who basically wanted to pull everything out (trauma city), I was expecting the worst. Instead, I met Dr. Schwartz, and within minutes he had me feeling safe, cared for, and even laughing. Yes... actually laughing in a dentist's chair. Wild. He listened to me, he understood my fears, and at one point after hearing what I went through, he just looked at me with this gentle "you poor thing" energy -- but in the sweetest, most compassionate way. Not judgmental, not pitying... just genuinely kind. He has a great sense of humor, an incredibly gentle approach, and he made me feel human, not embarrassed. I left feeling relieved, grateful, and honestly shocked that I found a dentist I'm excited to go back to. While I have never had any major issues, I have been pleased over the last three visits. The check-in paperwork is electronic which makes a lot of sense to me in 2018 and it's simple to complete. I've never had to wait long for an appointment, either. Everything seems to run on time and everyone is friendly. My hygienist is gentle and friendly. They keep you with the same hygienist each time and they immediately schedule the appointment with you themselves after the cleaning. Dr. Schwartz has been my doctor. He is gregarious and seems thorough. I was pregnant and couldn't get x-rays during a couple of cleanings, but felt he inspected my teeth carefully. While it's in an unassuming building, this has been a great practice so far. I only withhold one star because I have never experienced anything beyond basic care there.

She provided me with expert trauma informed care and such profound gentleness, patiently explaining what she was going to do while listening and attending to my needs compassionately. I was able to complete the procedure. The next session, I was given a different local anesthetic for my comfort without asking. I really appreciate this dental office. As an adult who avoided going to the dentist for a while out of fear, this office is a breath of fresh air. Not only did they accommodate this very anxious terrified new patient but after hearing my story told me to come right in. Can you imagine how blown away I was. I really didn't have time to freak out cause I ran out the door since it was close to closing time but Mary the front receptionist said she couldn't have me wait. Upon arriving, I immediately felt a sense of calmness. After doing paperwork I was taken to the back room where I was met with a dental assistant.
