Rascals also can supply you with pet food. This service came highly recommended and I've used them for a few years now and have had nothing but amazing service! And, my pets thrive whilst I'm on holiday, I don't have to worry about their well-being and my home gets checked daily, so security whilst away is an added peace of mind.

Procedures are free of charge once you have proved you are eligible (if you are on housing or council tax benefit you will get help), but they do request a contribution and rely on public donations. Appointments are necessary.

Sarah also does 1:1 sessions if you need extra help with a specific problem. Classes last an hour and are very organised - she will show you how to do exercises (such as sit, down, stay, recall) and you do them one at a time - great because you get 1:1 attention from Sarah but it does mean you have to keep your dog still whilst everyone else has their turn! Don't worry if you think that excludes your pooch - that is exactly what she is here to help with, controlling your dog. As well as lessons inside she will take dogs out for walks along the roads which is great practice. She does work dogs to getting their Kennel Club Good Citizen Awards, but you don't have to go that far if you don't want to. A six week course is £50 and you will join a group suitable for your dog's ability - beginner, intermediate or advanced. Its a lovely feeling when she asks you to move up a group! Apart from training your dog its great to meet up with other owners and realise that it isn't just your dog that is doing this, that and the other!

From the outside it is plain to see this is the only place in north Bristol to come for all your pet supplies. When I stepped inside there was that brilliant oh so familiar pet shop smell. You know, that kind of dog food chew mixed with dry hay smell. It makes you want to leave the shop with a big sack of bird seed even though you only have a goldfish! A friendly shop and a variety of all shapes and sizes of pet foods.

And there are cute little bunnies and rodents to gawk at as well as a good range of items for tropical and freshwater fish tanks.
