I have to agree, appalling customer service. I bought what was clearly a fundamentally dangerous…read moreand/or faulty dog toy (which disintegrated within about 30 seconds of play). It was a well respected brand and expensive and should have been returned to the manufacturer. The 'female' assistant was rude and dismissive - and disinclined to help in any way. They clearly have no interest in animal welfare and I suggest that you shop at a more professional and knowledgeable (not to mention better appointed) shop. The toys at Orvis and Morrisons are far superior and cheaper. Dog food at Prior Park nursery more convenient.

I had been a customer for approx 7+ years, Buying cat food fortnightly and quite a lot of it as I have 4 cats. Recently I have had to select their delivery because I have a weak spine, sciatica and currently a fractured wrist that isn't healing. My last delivery the manager left in the wrong place, I told the girl who took the order to get him to leave it in the green house outside my door, when I got back there was no delivery. On ringing the manager he told me he left it in the recycling bin outside my door which I do not have anymore! I told him this and went to check and the bin was open and nothing in there. The manager then left a replacement in the right place. I went to make a delivery order today and the staff who have been nice for years were just utterly downright rude to me saying I cost THEM money! and they will not deliver to me anymore! I told her that the manager left it in the wrong place and she just blantantly went back on everything that was said last time and argued saying He says he left it in the right place When I reminded her that I told her to tell him to leave it in the green house she said nothing! I asked when he was next in to speak to and was told she doesn't know, so I started naming days next week, she answered rudely I don't know I have a medical alert dog for my seizures which are currently worse and been signed off work for now with my back issuess, so cannot physically go out and carry back cat food which is quite heavy for my back and only on one arm! DISGUSTING SERVICE, I AM LEAVING NEGATIVE FEEDBACK EVERYWHERE. AVOID. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! RUDE UNHELPFUL STAFF. I AM TELLING EVERYONE I KNOW INCLUDING ALL OF MY PREVIOUS CUSTOMERS (AS I WAS A DOG TRAINER/WALKER BEFORE BEING ILL) TO AVOID THIS SHOP!

A previous reviewer mentions their clear pricing policy (sounds like an ad) - what pricing policy?…read more Ask for a quote the price depends on whomever you're speaking to and you get told nothing if you don't ask. Nor do you get an itemised bill unless you ask. . When I took my dog for an eye infection They put in a green drop to enable any damage to show up. I was charged £36+ I was prescribed drops and told to come back two days later as the prescribed drops could actually ulcerate the eye. Another green drop and another consultation fee charge £31+ this time which included £3.09 for the green drop! and another £3.09 for the first green drop which they didn't mention just charged it. I was charged a second consultation fee and drop fee for the privilege of having it checked that their drug wasn't further damaging the eye. When I went there to ask about the cost having spoken to a lot of people who were as surprised as I was about the second charge I was told to 'write in'. When I did I got no reply to my perfectly polite email until I chased then I eventually received a rude and deeply patronising letter via post from Phillipa Ashman inferring i couldn't afford to pay them and obliquely telling me to take my business elsewhere. Believe me in my opinion this practice is ALL about the money.
