The owner is a veterinary nurse who can microchip your pet as well as administer medicines if your pet needs them. Your pet can be cared for in your own home, and you can determine how many times a day and how long you want the visits to be. Or, your pet can be boarded at Rascals. Rascals also can supply you with pet food. This service came highly recommended and I've used them for a few years now and have had nothing but amazing service! And, my pets thrive whilst I'm on holiday, I don't have to worry about their well-being and my home gets checked daily, so security whilst away is an added peace of mind.

Sarah's dog training classes are highly recommended! Based…read morejust off Whiteladies Road, she holds classes most evenings. Classes are kept small so you may have to go on a waiting list. Sarah also does 1:1 sessions if you need extra help with a specific problem. Classes last an hour and are very organised - she will show you how to do exercises (such as sit, down, stay, recall) and you do them one at a time - great because you get 1:1 attention from Sarah but it does mean you have to keep your dog still whilst everyone else has their turn! Don't worry if you think that excludes your pooch - that is exactly what she is here to help with, controlling your dog. As well as lessons inside she will take dogs out for walks along the roads which is great practice. She does work dogs to getting their Kennel Club Good Citizen Awards, but you don't have to go that far if you don't want to. A six week course is £50 and you will join a group suitable for your dog's ability - beginner, intermediate or advanced. Its a lovely feeling when she asks you to move up a group! Apart from training your dog its great to meet up with other owners and realise that it isn't just your dog that is doing this, that and the other!

I had to go out of town as a relative passed away suddenly and I didnt know how long I would be away and how I would cope with my pets. I found Auntie Sams on the web and gave her a ring and was delighted that she could pop in and take care of my pets at very short notice. While I was away from home she walked my dog and feed and changed my cats litter all for a very reasonable fee and even donated some of the fees to animal charities. I could not have coped through this difficult time without Auntie Sam and the reliable service provided. I know next time wont have to worry and can rely on this very caring and trustworthy service.
