goats and goats in a fenced in area

I'm slightly obsessed with goats so it's nice to have a goat farm that's close by. I've been to GlennArt farm twice now, and David and his wife are the nicest couple. We were able to just hang around with the goats, play with them and feed them. We brought our own food to feed them and it was just a fun, therapeutic experience. I can't wait to go back and visit!

I went to Goat Yoga at GlennArt Farm with a group of people. It was wonderful! There were large tents to keep us from getting sunburnt, gentle baby goats that would stand on us while doing table poses, and the staff was really knowledgeable answering all my questions. I got to pet so many goats, and they weren't camera-shy at all!

amazing and such kind people! They LOVE their goats. They help underprivileged youth and team up with a bakery who employs disabled adults. affordable. Yoga is easy but let's be honest it's about the goats.

This guy was definitely enjoying all the options

Amazing!! The farm is lovely (especially during the spring and summer) and the baby goats are too cute.

I can't believe I haven't been coming here for years and just discovering this place this year…read more This place is a great family farm for anybody of all ages. Most of the things here are free. Pumpkins that you can pick are at very reasonable prices. Food and drinks are at reasonable prices too as well as other merchandise and other fall related things that go on here. They had a corn maze that I did not check out at all. Visiting the animals was probably one of my favorite things at the farm. It's not jam-packed like a lot of the popular locations. The only downside I would say was that the staff is a little bit untrained especially when it comes to money handling since the one cashier when I was paying for pumpkins didn't know how to count cash even though I gave him exact change. Overall, you should not pass up on this place at all. 4.5 Stars

They have a huge play area with wooden structures such as a school bus, fire truck, and castle. My young girls enjoyed the pretend play on the vehicles and going on the slides. There is also a section with huge stacks that are perfect for climbing and taking group pictures. Some things to take note of: 1) There is a section with plenty of port-a-potties. We were there in the morning so the port-a-potties were all relatively clean and unused. 2) The food section isn't that big but service is quick. We tried the cheese pizza, poor boy, pork chop on a stick, cheeseburger, and donuts. We would definitely order the poor boy, a cube steak sandwich, and pork chop again. They did an excellent job with grilling the meats and both had a nice sear while retaining moisture. The donuts were mini-size and came in baker's dozen so it was easy for our young girls to dig in.

I needed something very specific for a recipe, it's so hard to find guanciale to make carbonara!…read more Carnivore was about the 10th place I called and they right away let me know they had plenty! As soon as I walked in, I saw so many goodies I knew I was taking home. They had a very well curated selection of fancy condiments from small makers, rare ingredients, and the highest quality version of many every day foods! Everyone behind the counter was so friendly and knowledgeable. I had to try one of their sandwiches and got the salmon po boy at their recommendation. It was really well seasoned and super fresh with a very generous slice of fish on it. Definitely coming back for another one next time I'm in the area! Thank you so much for great service and products!

Greetings my Foodzies, recently we went into Oak Park and dined at Carnivore at 1042 w Pleasant…read more Carnivore is a butcher shop who offers sandwiches and entrees. They have window display with various cuts of meat, deli meats and whole fish. They also had racks which seasonings and sauces. The employees were very friendly and helpful. We elected to go for a couple sandwiches; Glenda had a ham sandwich with lettuce and tomato with mayo and mustard. The sandwich was a good size sandwich and the ham was sliced thin but I found it to be a little salty. She also asked for no onions and there was a good amount of onions on the sandwich. I opted for the bacon burger with cheese. The misleading part was that it wasn't a burger with bacon, the bacon was in the patty; the cheese wasn't melted and I ordered medium rare and received medium. To top it all off, you couldn't taste the bacon and it was poorly under seasoned. Both sandwiches came with bag fries not fresh-cut; which had a Cajun type seasoning salt. They were good but extremely salty. I give this restaurant 2 1/2 stars mostly for the fresh meats. Give it a try and let me know what you think. Ciao Ciao for now.
