I had a rhinoplasty done by Dr. Davis in 2008. I was only 21 and wish I knew better. I regret it all the time. He took way more cartilage out of the tip of my nose and made my bridge like a ski slope. I went to him to have my crooked nose straightened. I remember telling him I wanted to keep the bulk of my nose and after I healed it was so narrow. I was so disappointed I lost so much. I also had no idea that cartilage tissue has memory. So my nose began to shift to one side again. And the cartilage on my other nostril buckled and became another problem. I went to him when I noticed it wasn't healing properly and he had no words for it. All this to say, if you are wanting a rhinoplasty it's not an easy surgery and needs a highly skilled doctor to do it and knowledgeable. Too many doctors today make out like it's an easy fix and it just becomes more complicated and you spend more money to fix it. Dr Davis did not do a good job and I'm severely paying for it. Not mention the staff at that time was so disorganized I should have seen it as a red flag.
Years later still dealing with issues. I see a nose specialist now and he has said that rhinoplasty's are like Brain surgery- it's a very complex operation that requires high skill and knowledge. If looked at it this way then maybe I would have been smarter in my choices of finding someone or just accept my nose the way it was, bc I really wish I didn't touch it. If I could go back in time I would. read more
