Eventually, the bonding began to discolor, so Dr. Jeff recapped my two front teeth. Fast-forward 40 years. Getting older, along with years of drinking coffee and wine, had taken its toll. My teeth had become stained, and I had even broken one of the caps. During a routine cleaning, Dr. JinYoung Kim looked at my teeth and showed an excitement that honestly surprised me. From the moment I met Dr. Jafari, I knew I was in good hands. He is incredibly patient, caring, and always puts his patients' well-being first. As he gave me the numbing shots, he spoke calmly and even used guided imagery to help me relax. He took his time, made sure I was completely numb, and constantly checked that I wasn't feeling any pain. During my second crown appointment, I unexpectedly had a panic attack. Dr. Jafari spent over 20 minutes patiently helping me calm down. He never made me feel rushed and even offered to reschedule if I wasn't comfortable continuing. It was clear that my well-being was far more important to him than staying on schedule. Once I felt better, I chose to continue with the procedure. Dr. Jafari is also genuinely friendly and personable. He remembers his patients by name and even recalls conversations from previous visits, which makes every appointment feel personal. It's advertised on his website that a one-on-one comprehensive evaluation will be done that can last up to 2 hours. This is not true. He will spend around 15 minutes doing basic checks. This will cost you $200. Also he was a bit disrespectful when I asked questions about my symptoms. When Dr. Lynch heard that I read about TMD, he was very dismissive and said I shouldn't waste my time with that. He treated me like I was a nerd for trying to learn about dentistry. That's not the right behavior for a doctor. I gave 2 stars because at least he was honest when he said he didn't know what to do.

The interior space is very pleasant, soothing, and immaculate, perfect for a dental office. Better yet, EVERYONE who works here is very warm, helpful, and friendly. After my initial visit in early March of this year, I had to come back for some more work, and I'm happy to say that they cheerfully re-scheduled my appointment several times when the stay-at-home orders started for the coronavirus. When I finally went in towards the end of May, they had multiple precautions in place against the virus. Since I am an older adult, I really appreciated this attention to my health and that of others. My actual dental care was terrific. Both the hygienist and the dentist, Dr. Ghorbani, took time to explain everything to me. It turns out I needed a crown (my first one), but I was not surprised as it was for a tooth that I had suspicions about. Due to some tooth coloration issues, he had my crown made not at his usual lab, but at one somewhere out west that specializes in matching tooth enamel in appearance. He warned me that it was more expensive, but I felt that having a nice-looking tooth (you can see the crown with my normal smile) was worth it. As it turns out, the total bill for all the work, after my insurance paid, was much lower than I thought it was going to be!
