He proves that a doctor's visit doesn't need to be hours long to be thorough, thoughtful, detailed, effective, and--most importantly--to make you feel genuinely seen and heard. He is incredibly prompt and respectful of your time, while somehow never making the appointment feel rushed. He's kind, funny, caring, attentive, and has a way of immediately putting your mind at ease. I left feeling completely confident that my health is in very good hands. I'm newly postpartum, and he has been wonderful in helping me navigate the reins of this new chapter and come up with a plan for a truly healthy future so I can be my best self for my baby. He was incredibly thorough, provided me with excellent referrals, and made the entire process so seamless. I was able to have my labs done immediately after my appointment, received the results that same day, and he had already reviewed and addressed them with me. That kind of attentiveness and follow-through is so appreciated and, unfortunately, not something you find everywhere. He even went the extra mile discussing medication options and copays with me, actively trying to find the most affordable choices--definitely not something most PCPs go out of their way to do. Dr. Thomassian is the epitome of a doctor who genuinely loves what he does and truly cares about helping people. My husband and I both agree that we'll proudly and gladly keep him as our PCP until we're old and gray. Sorry, Dr. Thomassian--you're stuck with us for life! Couldn't recommend him more highly. Also, the staff was really great and super welcoming. I felt right at home from the first second I joined the clinic. Thanks for everything!

If you're injured at work and are assigned to Dr. Daldalyan, be prepared for poor treatment and…read moreutter disregard for your well-being. He has consistently demonstrated a lack of professionalism, especially in the context of workers' compensation, where communication and timely action are critical. I've been under Dr. Daldalyan's care for a serious occupational injury. Over the course of a couple of years, I've had numerous interactions with him, all bearing their own complications. Every time I made a request--whether by email or phone--for medically necessary documents or updates, he either ignored me or provided no response at all. After multiple attempts to get a return-to-work note, his eventual response was a flat-out refusal to help, with no explanation, despite having been my treating physician during the entire period. Due to his unresponsiveness and refusal to act, I lost sleep, couldn't return to work, and was left in limbo during a vulnerable time. Unfortunately, this isn't a one-off situation--his lack of action has been a repeated problem throughout my workers' compensation process. Thoughtfully worded requests have been met with silence. Thankfully, I was able to reach out to the physician from Del Carmen Medical Center who took the time to personally provide the assistance I needed. Dr Petrushka showed more concern in 10 minutes than Dr. Daldalyan has in two years. If you're an injured worker who needs timely medical documentation or expects basic professionalism, look elsewhere. Dr. Daldalyan seems more focused on billing the system than actually treating his patients. During my workers' comp claim, when I needed a return-to-work note, Dr. Daldalyan completely dropped the ball. After nearly 3 weeks of trying to reach him, I finally had a rushed 2-minute telehealth appointment where he barely let me speak, brushed me off, and told me to contact the front desk for the note. However, when I did, the front office staff didn't know what he was talking about and refused to issue the note without "doctor confirmation." I followed all proper protocols, remained polite, and even offered to pay extra to resolve the issue. Instead, I was accused of asking for something illegal--something I never did--and hit with a $150 bill for that 2-minute call that provided no medical service. Despite him having routinely issued similar notes in the past, he refused to provide a basic note for my coverage period. I was forced to find another doctor last-minute, who gave me a note but couldn't assign restrictions since I wasn't under their long-term care. This left me returning to work without the necessary protections, all due to Dr. Daldalyan's failure to uphold his duties. If you're an injured worker--or just someone who expects basic human decency from a doctor--do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. You deserve better than this.

1 Star - Reception Manager Shelley's Lies & Dr. Etehad's Cover-Up Harm Patients…read more Dr. Etehad is an excellent doctor, and his staff (except one) are stellar! But the reception manager Shelley's actions are unacceptable. After switching providers in Bakersfield, my new doctor faxed a records request five weeks ago--I saw the fax confirmation. Shelley ignored it, lied in an email to me claiming she never got it, and even after I emailed her last week demanding she notify my doctor by the next day, she didn't call (I even gave her the information). My new doctor confirmed yesterday they've received anything. When I left a message and confronted Shelley, I demanded to speak to Dr. Etehad. He claimed he didn't get the request, clearly protecting her despite the fax proof AND EMAIL with my new doctors information excusing her delay that's stalling my care. My new doctor's office is confused why only Shelley handles records releases. Shelley's done this before. For my annual mammogram with prescribed ultrasound, she told radiology only one breast was approved, forcing me to choose--shocking their manager. When I needed my file for housing paperwork, she refused, then made me wait 15 minutes while she dawdled. For over a decade, I've endured Shelley's rude, condescending attitude toward me and others. Dr. Etehad seems aware but won't fire her. Shelley's lies and HIPAA violations risk patient health. I'm reporting to the California Medical Board. Avoid this practice until she's gone!
