This guy is a total fraud. STILL receiving EOB from my insurance from a 2021 covid test. He charged my insurance a total of $1,500 (no joke) from one measly covid test I needed to go to a baseball game. I never met "Jeff Toll, MD" in my life and I can't believe how fraudulent this is. To make money off the covid pandemic is beyond repulsive. His website offers "memberships" and weird parking lot visits and med students. Sounds sketchy as hell and I'm so mad he is still even operating as a doctor. I talked to my insurance company so many times telling them it was a total fraud and not to pay it but they didn't seem as upset as I was. Now I am still getting notices that they have paid the claim. So annoying. I actually recently received a $120 bill from the same date of service trying to get me to pay more 5 years later. I enrolled in Dr. Jeff Toll's concierge primary care practice in September 2025. Unfortunately, the service did not live up to what I expected from a concierge model. The initial evaluation was comparable to a routine primary care visit. Follow-up communication was inconsistent, with some questions unanswered, and a referral that was promised was never provided. At $400 per month, I did not feel the care justified the cost, and I did not experience meaningful value beyond what is available through regular primary care. read more

Dr Toll has been our family doctor for a few year. His diagnosis have always been accurate and his staff is great too.

They promised a lot on their website, but not in reality. No one answers urgent phone calls at night or during the holidays. The staff were friendly initially, then became very impatient with patients after one week. Their contract has a lot of ambiguous terms that are tricky. In the contract, "as a patient, you have to waive to the grand jury," which was not commonly seen in this type of contract. You can also find the fraudulent case in Los Angeles Times. As mentioned in the comment section, it was minimum, almost nothing, unlike what they promised "Extended physical exam." The communication with the doctor was passive-aggressive in that they did not admit their mistake. Instead, they blamed the patients. Overall, nothing impressive and overly advertised. If you have a couple hundred dollars to spare, go for it but don't expect too much. read more

I saw Dr. Toll one time for a physical. Everyone in the office was friendly but he seemed rather disengaged. During the exam he sat on the other side of the room asking questions and taking notes on his computer. The actual physical exam by him was minimal, much less than any physical I have ever had. I was sent the report but no follow up phone call from anyone at the office to explain results. Then came the billing. My insurance covered and paid the entire amount. I received "reminders" that my secondary had not paid. The emails and texts were relentless. One day I received 2 texts within 3 minutes of each other! I called my insurance company. They gave me the check number and date it was sent. I call the office to tell them. I called Dr. Toll's billing company to tell them. They all said it would be taken care of but the bills, texts and emails kept coming. I wrote a personal letter to Dr. Toll to tell him including the date and check number of the payment. I heard nothing except another bill. I called the billing company again. John asked me to fax him a copy of the letter to Dr. Toll and promised he would take care of it. He told me that there were 4 other patients with the same problem. That was about a month ago. I thought it was over until I received another bill today. I shredded it and will ignore anything else I receive from that office. Look for another doctor. Even if you like him, the billing process is not worth it. read more

Dr. Toll recently provided care and looked after my father after bypass surgery on his leg. Dr. Toll is nice, caring, knowledgeable, intelligent and attentive. I met Dr. Toll as he treated my father during recovering from surgery at Cedars; his advice helped. Later, my father was moved to Century City Rehab, Dr. Toll was there also and checked in on my father. Always nervous about whom is caring for my parents, I read his website about him being an old fashioned and caring doctor. He is true to his website. Dr. Toll is the best doctor in L.A. not exaggerating... I have had bad experiences with doctors rushing me and giving whatever medication drug companies want them to sell (even if it's not right for me). However I have been to Jeff twice once for a terrible cough that had lasted over 3 months (he fixed in a week) and an eye infection that he was able to diagnose with some photos and detailed questions.. he sent in the prescription same day and that was it. He listens, is insanely thorough and actually cares. He is passionate about medicine, more importantly he's passionate about people. If you're looking for a doctor GO TO HIM.
