Excellent service. Doctor Sharma is very friendly and I feel no pain during treatment, which I did not seen before with other doctors.

Most of the reviews regarding the aesthetics of the office waiting room and it's amenities are no…read morelonger applicable. Yes, the office at one time was extremely rundown and pretty embarrassing. They have since overhold it to a state of the art modern facility that is immaculate, they have charging stations over every chair in the waiting room not that it matters there's a very nice round chandelier. The front desk staff could not be nicer Dr. James Pezzollo extracted two of my teeth and put the implants screws in. Never had a problem with excess bleeding or pain. He constantly asks you during the procedure if you are doing OK. They will give you a follow up appointment to give you the greenlight for the next step. Some people have made negative comments concerning billing . While I have experienced the same - instead of dealing with the person that answers the phone - call your insurance company and have them do it. It'll make things much easier. Cause both times when I called and this woman picked up the phone. I said oh my God - luckily she transferred me - she will cut you off and say just tell me which office you're calling about. I warned my patient advocate at Blue Cross Blue Shield before he called. He said he didn't give her a chance to go into her spiel.

I want to begin by saying that I am a healthcare provider with Northwell, and this office--particularly Dr. Sacks--came highly recommended by our trusted primary dentist, whom we've seen for over 20 years and deeply respect. Unfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations. We were quoted a "worst-case scenario" out-of-pocket cost of $600, both by phone and again at check-in. At checkout, the bill was suddenly nearly $900--with no prior explanation. This felt deceptive, unprofessional, and deliberately misleading. After my son had all four impacted wisdom teeth removed, no pain medication was prescribed or even discussed--just "take Tylenol." I had to ask for ice packs myself, which should be standard. Most offices provide a jaw wrap ice pack, especially since they emphasize how important icing is on day one. Discharge instructions were rushed and vague. As a parent, I left the office feeling misled, frustrated, and concerned about my son's recovery. As a healthcare provider, I left shocked. I would not recommend this office to anyone seeking transparent billing, proper post-op care, or compassionate communication. I'll be informing our referring dentist of the experience, and I plan to report the billing issue to both the insurance company and Northwell, given that this office is in-network with Northwell Direct Cigna Dental.

The two young females at the front desk could definately use some professional courtesy training when working with the general public. After my daughter completed her new patient forms and handed them her photo ID, I asked about an insurance form and was told they don't take insurance. However on the phone when I made the appt for my daughter, I was asked what insurance she has and was told they don't take one of the insurance. Due to COVID-19, I understand that there is social distancing, limited spacing between patients, etc in medical offices; the person could have told me in a professional manner that I should wait outside of the office as many patients were coming in for their appts. Instead, I was told in a pejorative term that I have to leave the office: my daughter is over 18 and don't need me here; and, that the room is for patients only. I reminded her about the insurance and she said it was "free". To make a long story short, before my daughter was discharge out of the office, she was charged $575.00 for a (baby) tooth extraction and anesthesia!!! If the person on the phone said they don't take insurance in the first place, I would not have made the appt for her! [Was it just an office formality to ask what insurance the caller has just to reel them in to make an appt??!] The spelling of my daughter's name did not come close to the spelling that appears on her photo ID card that she presented to the person. [Do they even bother to look at a person's ID at all, especially to ensure the patient's name is correctly spelled on their dental record?!] Before the procedure began, my daughter said she gave the dentist her orthodontist referral slip & picture xray. He barely looked at the xray. I had to ask my daughter did the dentist remove the right tooth? This office is run like a racket from the start! Since it was a referral from a reputable Orthodontist, I assumed this dental office was just as reputable. We definately won't be recommending this office to friends & family!

The consultation itself was conducted very efficiently and professionally! The staff were so accommodating and wasted no time at all in getting me seen. With their advanced scanning, we found two impacted wisdom teeth on the top jaw . However, they did not scare me to going through with the extraction - they explained how they would remove them and how it may have happened. Fast forward to today, I was scheduled for an IV-anesthesia for the extraction of 2 wisdom teeth and 2 wisdom tooth crownesectomys. One being due to a fraud of a dentist I went to before these lovely folks. I did not want to risk a crook further damaging my tooth and the Dr. Goldstein thought the same and planned this prior to my visit. He explained what was wrong with its current state and everything went very smoothly! I was numbed down and felt hardly a thing, woke up with the entire surgery process completed. They had a big significance in making sure I had someone take me back home without risking my current state post-IV. These people truly care for you and your oral hygiene. Most definitely recommend!

My daughter needed a professional who knew how to communicate with her, explain each step, reassure her, build trust, and guide her through a frightening experience. Instead, she was left terrified, crying, screaming, and in distress, while Dr. Soletic failed to provide the patience and emotional support she desperately needed. Despite receiving medication to relax, nitrous oxide, and local anesthesia, the procedure was unsuccessful. To make matters worse, I was not allowed in the room to comfort my own daughter during her first experience of this kind. What is absolutely unacceptable to me is that three medical professionals were present, yet none were able to effectively calm, reassure, or guide a frightened 9-year-old through the procedure. My daughter endured fear, pain, and what I consider a traumatic experience, only to leave without having either tooth extracted. Now, instead of simply needing dental treatment, she has to overcome the emotional impact of this failed experience. Why accept a pediatric patient if you are not adequately prepared to manage a child's fear, anxiety, and resistance with patience and professionalism? Being technically qualified to perform an extraction is not enough. Working with children requires empathy, communication skills, patience, and the ability to make them feel safe. My daughter deserved compassionate care, not an experience that left her even more terrified of the dentist.

I was told the process of building bones and completing a full arch dental implant procedure would take 5 months. It is now May 25, 2023 and the final top and bottom implants are not only uncomfortable but don't function well. I cannot chew hard foods and food gets stuck at the top of my gums every time I do eat. When I smile you can see the screws in one corner of my mouth where the food is getting trapped. The bottom teeth are also very small in comparison to the top and I informed the doctor that I was not happy. I was even told by Robin Greene the Treatment Coordinator that my final implants were made overseas and because of that was forced to wait 6 weeks for them to be completed which drew out an already overdrawn process! I was given no instruction or after-care paperwork and the doctors that performed the procedure and designed the implants are refusing to return my calls. When I complained about not only the lack of comfort and functionality of the final implants, I was told that what I wanted done was not what had been put in my mouth and that I would have to pay an additional $10,000 or more for that. Just to have implants that allow me to eat normally! I was never provided another option for the implants at the onset of the procedure. Please do not come here. They are dishonest and lack integrity and I will be suing very soon.
