This is the worst place to live! Supposed to be "affordable housing" and they don't take Section 8…read moreso it was ok and now they are raising the rent for everyone next month! This is so disgusting! They charge so much money for sewer too! Everyone has big dogs crapping everywhere, no speed limit signs posted so people speed through with kids everywhere. This is sad! Everyone is struggling that lives here and that's why they moved here and they just raise the rent and when school is almost out!

My neighbors above me shot an AR through there floor into my master bedroom and I told the office I wanted to terminate my lease or move to a different building on the third floor as I didn't feel safe. No one ever called me back and I told them I would not pay rent if they would not allow me to terminate my lease or switch units because I did not feel safe. They did none of the above instead they filed for an eviction all while not posting anything on my door or sending through certified mail I never received any 30 day notices I never even got a notice that they filed for an eviction or a court date for me to contest in court as to why I did not pay the rent. How interesting that I wasn't given that because if it was posted on my door I would have went to the court house with the police report and the proof of why I wanted to terminate my lease and the eviction would not have been granted. They illegally filed an eviction without giving me the proper notices. What makes it worse is they did all this secretly and I could have had time to remove all my items that I had which I lost because they placed a 24 hour eviction notice on my door and did not let me retrieve my items. They placed some of my items on the side of the road for people to take and they never removed my washer and dryer from the unit that I personally bought myself. I know this because I had people watching all day the day my items were removed. This place does not care about tenants safety this place doesn't care about anything or the way they expect you to live. They are shady and do things illegally behind your back. Tania thinks she is slick and can get away with these things but she is nothing but a snake. I will be seeing you guys in court with my attorney and I will be sure that your negligence for peoples safety and the way you treat people will not go without reprimand. When we first moved in 10 months ago we were promised that a new playground was being built and its hasn't yet and new mgr says it wont. The pool is and has been unclean since we moved in. We mentioned it to the office once and the mgr suggested that my son pooped in it when it was clearly mold or algae. There is rebar sticking out of concrete right down a small hill that the kids in the neighborhood frequently ride their bikes on. The trees are usually hanging too low over the sidewalk to the point where you have to walk into the road to take out your trash or check your mail. Maintainance is unprofessional and one speaks almost no english. The only speak spanish in front on you. They often mess things up or have no idea what they are doing. They use tenants towels and use their couches at ladders. Thats if you can get them to come out in the first place. Parking is a mess and I was told "its fine because no one else has complained about it". Took over 2 months to get hot water in my second bathroom and when the guy finally come out to fix the issue it only took him 5 minutes to fix. I was told that he was going to have to tear down my shower wall and they wanted to do it in another apt which is why it was taking so long. Meahwhile, I watched several people move in and out of apts. All he had to do was replace a portion of my faucet. The gate to the dog park can be pushed over by any larger dog. There is trash all over the complex and I watch the guy skip over it as he skins the complex when he supposedly picks it up every morning. The gates on the "gated community" haven't worked since we moved in. We were told they would be. Staff is unfriendly and simply lie to your face to get you to sign a lease. Pricing is good if you got what you were promised. DONT MOVE IN HERE!!!!!!!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!

We moved our parents to the Residence several years ago when we determined they needed extra care…read moreand to be closer to family. The staff at the Residence has always been very helpful, especially as our mother developed dementia. At a given point, the staff suggested a memory care unit for her, which meant that mom and dad would have to live separately. There was some personal trauma by executing that decision, but we all made it through. Within weeks, our mother was put under hospice care and was allowed to remain in her own little apartment. The staff were so generous with their care for mom and allowed members of the family to stay all night in the apartment as we waited for the inevitable. Dad remains there today, and he loves and prays every day for staff and residents. Of course, there are minor issues that pop up from time to time that may give us pause, but overall, we are grateful for the good care our parents received at the Residence.
