I would rather give 0 star, this school is a shit. At first it charge extra tuition ' by mistake'. I think they just hope someone didn't notice the charge. Then this school noticed me the $10 includes material fee and T -shirt. Then ask me to order the T-shirt online, after that when I arrive to the school , the office staff told me the T-shirt is another $25 !! It is just a small plain normal T-shirt and they dare to charge me $25 without notice me in advance! !Please don't come to this school everyone! read more

Please be careful with the contract you sign. We signed up for the year did the 12 months, then they auto renewed without advising us or communicating with us directly. They say they sent an email but they can't produce the email or provide a read receipt. So I'm on the hook for another 12 months even though my child is unable to attend due to school commitments. I tried calling and once I actually got through (everything goes straight to voicemail) I was told sorry nothing we can do. read more

My advice, RUN AWAY. I have never been so disappointed at how the owner runs this business. First the owner forces you to purchase an expensive dress for a performance thru 'preferred' vendors. Clearly these outfits can be made at a custom tailor for a lot less cost. Also when attempting to cancel lessons, the business owner refused to return your money when you are dis-satisfied with the instruction and also no lesson was provided to your child that month. read more

My daughter and I both take lessons from Glee. I take voice and piano and my daughter takes voice and guitar. I am so grateful that we found this school! The teaching staff is top notch. They are incredibly organized, professional and totally passionate about music and teaching. I felt compelled to write a review about my experience with Glee after my daughter pointed out to me that someone had criticized them on yelp. We actually laughed when we read it because it couldn't be further from the truth in our opinion. These are the nicest people!!!!!! read more

My daughter Anabel was so lucky to start with Glee Music Academy and especially with Karen. She is the best vocal teacher my daughter ever had. She is teaching her how to use her voice without harming it and how to switch to her head voice smoothly. Most importantly she is teaching her the breathing techniques which is the base of any vocal technique. I agree with other reviews posted here on the low ratings / I wish there was a ZERO star! Even giving 1 Star is way too much for this place for the following reasons - - no clear communication to students or parents - too money minded / wants to make quick money but without customer focus - the recitals they do also is way too commercials / trying to up sale a lot of things / starting with the seats for the recitals Definitely, avoid this place ! No business will ever survive without focusing on customers and building trust with customers and employees - which they are missing hugely ! Good luck to the owners of this place! read more

My girls liked coming to Glee class for a couple of months last year. The teachers and the owner are all really sweet and caring. The location is easy to find and very spacious and clean. - The music is kind of old fashioned. We were expecting Taylor Swift and One Direction and got older American Folk songs. I think they would've enjoyed something more modern and upbeat a bit better. Maybe there's a different type of music in the older group? My kids were in the younger kids group so I can't speak for the older class. - And I wish they offered more class times. It is hard to rush over there right after school is out and we didn't have any other options. One of my daughters asks to go back sometimes, and there's just not a time that would fit our schedule. -I didn't agree with the fact that You have to purchase (rather expensive) outfits to be able to partake in the recitals (we have done recitals at various events at other studios in the past, and it is usually $15-20 to partake and to rent/buy the outfit. I believe these dresses were around $60-70 + specific shoes). read more

What a disgrace! I am a pianist and oboeist. I needed to rent a room to be able to practice piano and oboe while staying at hotel next to Glee Music Academy. I visited and gave my contact info and kicked me out. It took them more than a week to respond. In that email. they said I can rent a room at 7 pm. And I went back at 6:30 pm, they said they were closing. They send me another email telling me wha time I can rent a room and the cost of renting another week after. At that time, I was checking out of the hotel, it was too late. This place definitely doesn't want any new student or adult student have their services. It is discriminatory. Quality of teachers are questionable while I was in the building, I heard instructors teach how to sing, that instructor was a crappy singer. Students who looked to be bored in the room while taking class. Even one star is too lauding for this establishment. read more

My daughter has done Glee for 2 years and her experience was wonderful. Karstin was her teacher/choir leader and she is incredibly talented with kids. She has an effortless ability to command their attention and respect while maintaining their humor and adoration. It's an outstanding program that not only allows the kids a creative outlet to sing and dance, but they also learn the basics of music theory. My daughter just started taking piano lessons with Karstin and she is thrilled to be learning so quickly while also enjoying herself. I highly recommend both programs. read more

Glee Music Academy has been such a great experience for my five year old daughter! She absolutely loves going to class and being surrounded by a positive environment. They do a lot of things for the family and to help parents enjoy this precious time. My daughter is typically shy and this has really helped her grow her confidence while having fun. I don't understand how anyone gave this more than one star. The owner and her daughter are arrogant and rude. The studio is in south orange county and they decided to have the recital in Yorba Linda on a Friday night with rehearsal on Thursday night. If you didn't come to rehearsal you couldn't be in the show. This is an hour away from the studio. People had to take time off of work to get their kids to the rehearsal and show. Ridiculous. Of you know how many facilities there are between lake forest and yorba linda????This is not a broadway production. Also, in case I didn't mention it, the daughter is so rude and arrogant read more

My daughter has had a great time with Glee Club so far, she enjoys the classes, learning to sing, and of course performing. She also takes piano lessons, and we have been thrilled with them so far. She has already had the opportunity to participate in a recital, which has been great for her. The thing I like most about Glee is the positive atmosphere. I have older children, one of which was incredibly involved in dance, and the atmosphere was always so competitive between the kids - it is so nice to be involved in a program that actually teaches and promotes the kids to support one another. My daughter loved it. They were very professional. The only thing I would have liked more was music and dances to be available so parents could practice with their child at home. This place does show choirs and private piano, guitar, and voice lessons. I LOVE the teachers and the shows are amazing - it's like a once in a life time opportunity that you can do over and over again! I love the students in my choir class, and I would recommend it to anyone. I've learned how to read music, learn and memorize songs faster, and more! I love my guitar teacher. He's totally chill, and he like knows all genres of music. Learning guitar has been so much fun! If you're thinking about joining, do it. You'll love it. read more

Our four-old daughter attends the Pre-Glee classes and it has been a very positive experience for her. She has been able to increase her confidence, practice singing on melody, and has a lot of fun learning the hand motions for each song. She sings the songs she has learned all the time and shows a greater appreciation for music. A great introductory music program for young children! read more
