They handled weekly maintenance for both my front and back yards, took over our annual tree trimming, and even completed a larger project redoing my entire sprinkler system. Their work was consistently excellent, and I trusted them enough to continue giving them additional projects as they came up. Unfortunately, after more than two years as a loyal weekly customer, I received a message out of the blue letting me know they were canceling their entire Wednesday route because they had secured a larger, more lucrative contract and needed to move that crew over to it. Just like that, I was soon to be without a gardener and had to scamble to find a replacement. I completely understand that businesses have to make financial decisions, but I was extremely disappointed by how easily long-standing residential customers were dropped when a more valuable contract came along. I can absolutely recommend the quality of their work--they truly were fantastic. But I would caution residential customers to keep in mind that, based on my experience, a long-term relationship and consistent business may not carry much weight if a larger HOA or commercial contract comes along. That's something I wish I had known before relying on them for so much of my property maintenance.

I had a great experience working with Mark and Eminent Construction on my paving project…read more I first reached out to Mark in November 2020 for a quote to pave my front and backyard. Due to personal reasons, I had to put the project on hold for a while and didn't end up signing the contract until April 2022. For due diligence, I got quotes from several other paving contractors at the time. Material prices had skyrocketed across the board, and while his prices aren't the bottom-of-the-barrel lowest, among reputable, established companies, his pricing was very competitive. A couple of other options told me straight up to go with Eminent because they couldn't match his quote. Mark was able to honor his original 2020 pricing because he keeps a large inventory of pavers stored in his own warehouse. At first, I was a little worried that a lower price might mean cutting corners, but that wasn't the case at all--his work product is excellent, and so are his people. Once work began in April 2022, his team showed up right on time. Mark's guys are nice and awesome to work with, getting the job done quickly with great quality. My sister is extremely skeptical when it comes to contractors and service companies--she is not easy to please at all--but even she mentioned how impressed she was with the quality of their work. Midway through, I had several major changes, including asking him to redo the stairs, pour concrete out in my garage, add railings to the new stairs, and add custom railings to my existing front steps. Even though concrete isn't his main focus (he specializes mostly in pavers), he took it on and got his guys out here fast to redo the garage floor. On top of that, his metalworking contractors who handled the railings are second to none--the custom metalwork turned out incredible. His follow-up support has been just as solid. Recently, I noticed an issue with those stairs built back in April 2022 and brought it to Mark's attention. He didn't ask a million questions or give me any pushback--he just asked for a couple of pictures and had his crew out to fix it right away without any hassle. Finding a straight-shooting, trustworthy contractor is rare. I trust Mark completely and would recommend Eminent Construction to anyone.

They come out for an estimate, and follow-up as needed to do a more in-depth visit to really gain an understanding of what you want. Services I got -Demolition of backyard, fence, and old grass and fire area -Installation of new grass, St. Augustine -Drip irrigation done for front and back -Timed sprinkler system -Mulch, rocks and pavers: helping to landscape and really clean it up -Installation of 2 trees and plants in the front -Dividers along the flower beds for front and back They also work with certain nurseries and are really knowledgeable about the costs and types of materials. Super responsive over e-mail and text, and really hard working. I'm already looking into having them help with other services for my family. and they tell me they have a place where they also sell materials themselves. The folks at Nectar landscape developed the design, and the All American team made it a reality. AAL did everything from initial demolition all the way through to final planting. Les and the crew were incredible--attention to detail was always there, and the guys were extremely professional throughout the process. AAL persevered through unforeseen challenges and still came in on budget (and on time!). I'm thrilled with the end result, and really can't thank the AAL team enough.

We qualified for the DWP's Turf Replacement program and we searched for a company that would work with us to implement our ideas. Mike was a great landscape designer! He took the plans we received from the DWP and enhanced them for our garden. When we needed to make adjustments for additional plants, Mike provided us with several choices and photos which allowed us to make informed decisions. Carlos and his team were great to work with. They were responsive to our questions and requests and even let us know when they were taking a lunch break so we could let the dogs out during that time. Dee came by to check on the project regularly. We have some plants that appear to be struggling. He said they may be in shock (it was over 100 degrees when they were planted) and he wanted to give them a couple weeks to recover. If they don't, he said we should call and they'll replace them. I have absolute trust that they will do so. We're thrilled with our new yard! Next year we plan to do the front yard and will be calling G&L again.

Where do i start? A to Z is way TOO GOOD. From beginning to the end. Literally . They went above…read moreand beyond. To start from the beginning, I had a very big project in mind. I bought a brand new home, but as can be expected, the landscaping guys did their work so that looks nice just for the sale, as would be expected. But after we lived there for about a year, everything just started dying. After a little working around on my own, I realized that they put gravel and decompose granite everywhere underneath the grass so the plants couldn't grow. So I needed to dig all the dirt out about a few inches. After removing all the dirt and rocks, they put in fresh nutrient soil and laid the sod down. The other put healthy focus bushes all the way around. As well as removing the bushes that were there before. They also did an immaculate job on putting some pavers in in certain areas. I called around to a few places as well as A-to-Z. But after speaking with A-to-Z, I knew he was the one that I could trust for the job. He was honest sincere I trustworthy. During the whole way through the project, A-to-Z guys were respectful, courteous, prompt, and clean. Every day they left, they cleaned up before they were gone. Even the workmanship was stellar you could see the quality in their work. I am truly grateful to have found them and will definitely use them again. They were super professional, knowledgeable, and their pricing was very competitive. I have a large corner house so the front yard is very large (~4,000 sq ft). I got approved by LADWP to do the Turf Replacement project and Elbin gave me a ton of confidence working with him on it right out of the gate. They walked me through their process and talked through how we'd approach the designs I got for the project. They stuck to a tight deadline and went above and beyond to get it done exactly how we wanted. We had to replace our overhead sprinklers with drip, we installed this massive and beautiful dry river bed, put in 2 DG paths, and planted over 150 plants. Plus a boat load of walk-on bark mulch. This was a BIG project and they finished it flawlessly within a week's time. The only delays we had were due to Mother Nature as we had rain mid-way through. I highly highly highly recommend working with them for any project big or small.
