He tried this once with me and hasn't done it since. However, due to us making a complaint against him, he has "fired her" from getting help there. All they do is prescribe medications that dont help you, and dont care and wont prescribe you medications that actually do help. When we make the report against him we was told she would be getting help to get a new shrink. However, that has yet to happen and it was almost a year since we did this.

I'm a graduate of Northwestern University and was distraught over my outcomes with other psychiatrists. I felt like I didn't suffer through that school to be on disability. Susan is a breath of fresh air. While she isn't in-network with any insurance company, her prices are reasonable (she's worth every penny), and she will work with your insurance on things like getting your prescriptions covered, provide you with documentation if you have out-of-network coverage, and fill out any sort of job-related paperwork that may be needed. I think it's saying something that she keeps her patient population functioning so well that they can continue to see her, even in the rough times. Unlike so many other psychiatrists, to the best of my knowledge Susan doesn't have patients in long-term care facilities, nursing homes, or regularly in an inpatient setting. We're all contributing members of society and she keeps us that way. As psych patients, I believe that's the most we can ask for: to be indistinguishable from people without mental illness.
