I've been inside a few times before the owner started using his electronic billboards for displaying horrible messages, and none of the experiences have been anything but underwhelming. The billboards are now icing on the cake. The owner may boast about being an American, but his messages clearly aren't welcoming to anyone who doesn't agree with his extremist ideals.

One of the kids approached me and said he'd pay for my gas if I gave him my phone number. Which I declined, I politely told him I had a boyfriend, then he continues with "is he your husband?" Which I told him that my boyfriend was ABOUT TO BE. But then he insisted, saying that "it doesn't sound like he's your husband to me" and kept on begging me for my number. But these nice workers behind the counter, ushered them away, saying that I had a boyfriend, and I was too old for him, and then asked if I was okay. One of them was nice enough to walk me out to my car so nobody would follow me out. I don't think anybody realizes how thoughtful and selfless you have to be to intervene with a situation like this. I appreciate them so much. Thank you thank you thank you!! You allowed me to get home safely to my family

You will notice that in my upcoming reviews as I have recently visited many. This is one of two Sheetz in the Kittanning region. Do not let the pictures confuse you. This is not the Sheetz located in town, this is the Sheetz that sits on 422 prior to the interchange that takes you to 28. It is the one that is more frequently visited by people when passing through. I stopped here one day on my way to work to get some food and snacks for my day. The lot is confusing and from the looks of it, always busy with people coming and going. The inside is a bit dated, but they have done some updates of the facility to allow for a quick experience. I ordered my food, used their facilities, and got a drink. Made my way to the register and ended up paying about the same time as my food was ready. I headed to my car and prior to getting in took a phone call in the busy lot. Leaving is a bit easy, especially since there is a traffic signal so it doesn't feel like you are taking your own life in your hands when getting back onto the road heading towards the interchange.
