On two separate occasions, my drinks were made incorrectly with the wrong flavors. On my first order, I purchased five drinks, but only one was actually given to me. When I went back, I was told they were "out of stock," even though the shelves were fully stocked with the exact same drinks I ordered, which made the explanation hard to understand and honestly very frustrating. On a second occasion, my drinks were made incorrectly with the wrong flavors, AGAIN! I definitely started notice a pattern rather than bad luck, so I went back to the store to get it corrected. What really stood out wasn't just the mistake itself, but how it was handled. It's one thing to make an error, but it's another when someone is literally looking at you and laughing about it as if wasting someone's time and money is funny, which felt disrespectful and unprofessional. I did speak with a manager, she took responsibility for the situation but didn't actually handle or resolve it. Honestly felt like she was trying to brush the issue off and move past it as if it never really happened and to me that really shows that customer service at this store doesn't seem like a priority. If you don't like your job, then QUIT, because bringing that kind of negative energy into customer interactions isn't fair to people who are paying for a service.

If it's colder than 40 degrees out the pumps do not work efficiently and pump about a gallon every five minutes. The windshield cleaner stations are either always empty or the water is super disgusting. The wipers are also garbage and leave streaks. Big ones. The pumps need updated in a bad way. There's another gas station less than a mile away I'd go to instead of this one. The people are nice but the place isn't convenient for gas. Also, watch out for spiders at the pump. I know this can't be helped as its right next to the water but just a tip.

I went inside and she said that she could activate the pump from inside if I left my card. I told her well what am I supposed to do if I got the gas and the card is declined? She said well you could prepay. I told her that I knew it would take at least 25 gallons she stood there and looked at me stupid like she didn't know what to do. Uh, maybe get out your calculator and calculate 25 gallons by the price of fuel per gallon? C'mon, I used to manage at a few gas stations so I know she's got one. Since it was obvious she wasn't going to do that and she was just going to continue starting at me like I was an idiot I just told her to prepay so much, I swiped my company card, punched in all my information and I was on my way out. Now let's talk about how slow the gas pumps are. Let's just say I never thought it was going to reach the end. I only went here because I coasted in here on fumes. Yikes, what a mess in the wee hours of the morning. I actually didn't mean to come this location, but the other location had a line out the door with security standing as a bouncer outside. I ended up here and had a better experience, but not a superb experience. When I walked in it was a bit crowded, so I waited by the touchscreen kiosks to order and ended up not using them as no one was observing social distancing and masks were really noticeable either. I ended up using my phone to order through the app, just as efficient and kind of quicker. I felt bad for the employees inside. Constant noise from the entitled, drunk customers. I know if I wasn't enjoying myself they weren't either. MTO stands for Made To Order food, not My Terms Only food. As long as I can remember there was no customization button for special items when ordering food but one such customer insisted on having the food made the way she wanted done a certain way. Backing up the line all the while. Honestly, if you do happen upon a Sheetz that appears busy, order through the app and have the pick up time be ASAP. You can either pay via the app or pay at the counter with the other items you are picking up. You food is usually made as it pops into the queue. The other difference is that sheetz has a nice touch screen ordering computer to order food to go as well as a large selection of prepackaged food and snacks. Their fountain drinks have many large sizes but none compare to 7/11's double gulp. The food is made fresh with many varieties. It's overall a great convenient gas station.
