Within a month, a carpenter was on the new roof repairing wooden shingles. He noted no flashing had been added to the roof line, which could result in serious damage to house structure. We asked Deegan to come back only after several requests and proof of pictures from the carpenter. They replaced the flashing. On worker stated to us "This should have been done right the first time." In addition, roofers left debris throughout flower gardens and destroyed one front bush in a row of bushes through debris tossing. Deegan acknowledged, paid some money, but bush in this line can not be replaced and negatively affects front facade at time of house sale.

We had a budget, and he helped us keep to it, but he really went above and beyond that. Other vendors told us there was no way to keep the 130 year window moldings, but Turab not only helped us keep them, but had so many neat tricks to improve our restoration project. Other vendors just gave us offers against our project scope, but Turab explained to us the dynamics of different windows in different parts of the house and what types worked best and saved us money. He made custom moldings for our cellar windows. He also helped us out to stop a fly tipping incident one day when we were out and not able to deal with it ourselves. And when it was pouring with rain and our basement flooded, he went outside and took a really long and hard look and told us what the problem was. We got it fixed the same weekend and never had issues since.

The first project, several years ago, involved painting multiple interior rooms and crown molding. Most recently, I hired them to paint three new structural porch columns and my front door. While that may sound like a straightforward job, it really wasn't. Black structural columns are not something you see every day, so preparation, product selection, and attention to detail were critical to getting the look I wanted and ensuring the finish would hold up to the elements. Bob came out to provide the estimate. He was professional, easy to work with, and, most importantly, took the time to listen to what I was trying to achieve and the concerns I had about the project. He was also able to get the work scheduled within the same week. I worked closely with Ron, who I believe was the lead painter on the job. He was incredibly knowledgeable and detail-oriented. I supplied the INSL-X primer recommended for fiberglass columns and discussed paint options with him. He agreed with the approach and helped ensure the project was done the right way rather than just the fastest way. The work took two full days and exceeded my expectations. The crew took great care to protect my brand-new porch, covering the decking and railings thoroughly so there was no risk of paint getting where it didn't belong. What really stood out was the follow-up. Both Bob and Ron checked in independently after the work was completed to make sure I was satisfied. They also made it clear that if any issues came up, they would come back and make it right. The pricing was fair, the workmanship was excellent, and the customer service was outstanding from start to finish. It's refreshing to work with a company that still takes pride in doing quality work and standing behind it. You name it, they can probably do it. And they do it themselves, thus simplifying communication and planning. They were referred to us by an excellent painter in the area named John Coviello. We are forever grateful to John for the referral. Ken and Kevin renovated and refinished large portions of our home, often coming up with creative solutions for difficult problems. They have good taste, too, which is a bonus, but they are not pushy with it. Each day we spent with them was a virtual education for us in one aspect of construction/renovation or another. They are thorough, trustworthy, fairly priced, and do beautiful work. Most importantly, they always stand by their work, and the work of their subs. I have reached out to the owner, Ken, on numerous occasions with emergencies, and he always responds immediately. Ken's subs are wonderful, and I've started using his plumber and electrician for odd jobs around the house. They are wonderful with pets, and my small children love them, too.
