For those interested in credentials, Motta is a graduate of University of South Florida Medical School, surgery residency at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta (top notch institution), and then completed his fellowship in vascular surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. I was referred to this surgeon on an emergency basis in 2017, after having cardiac surgery which left me with a pseudo aneurysm. I was not a happy guy, to say the least, and had no choice but to proceed with surgery to address the aneurysm. Motta and his partner Lee are outstanding surgeons, and most interestingly, Motta has an incredible bedside manner, and a quirky and enchanting sense of humor (if he ever reads this review, he will likely laugh hysterically at how I described him!) After the surgery, he and his PA visited me daily in the hospital, for 6 days, and always listened to my concerns and anxieties, and trust me, I had a huge bag of them. Motta was direct and honest, as well as re-assuring, and during this recent follow-up, again due to my concerns about the nerve damage that occurred during the surgery, he put my mind at ease that it was as expected, and that over time, I would focus less and less on it. So for those of you who find yourself in need of a vascular surgeon, or have a parent or other relative who has a need, I recommend him without reservation, and think you'll find his demeanor comforting. His technical surgical skills, as far as my procedure went, were elegant. Dr Zucker assured me that he has done many of these procedures and the outcome should be very successful. Put my trust in Dr. Zucker and my husband recovered in perfect shape because of Dr. Zucker.
