Carlissa has been a lifesaver on my journey to regain confidence in my skin. I initially found her…read moreon Instagram and having battled with my skin over the last few months quickly booked an appointment. Her booking system was quick and easy to navigate. A deposit was required. Upon my first visit to Devotional Day Spa I got a little turned around locating the building in the mix downtown but after asking a valet he pointed me in the right direction. The salon suite Carlissa works out of is quiet and clean. She was still with a client at the time of my appointment but sincerely apologized and let me know that is not how she normally operates. She even offered her high frequency treatment to me for free for the inconvenience (normally $65). Her customer service and effort toward customer satisfaction is top notch for sure, especially not knowing if I would be a returning client or not. Well I am! On my second visit Carlissa gave me a full size bottle of face wash to try for free. She continuously recommends and refers products and offers skin care suggestions based off of my skin type and the information I give her about my day to day struggles. I will continue to allow Carlissa to work with me to control and maintain my healthy and glowing skin.

I cannot recommend WENDY highly enough!!…read more From the moment I sat in her chair, it was clear that she has an incredible eye for detail and a true passion for her craft. Wendy has a rare talent for enhancing natural beauty in a way that looks effortless, balanced, and refined. Her work is precise, artistic, and tailored to each individual rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach. What impressed me most was her ability to preserve my natural features while adding subtle depth, dimension, and polish. The results are beautifully soft and natural-looking--never overdone--and have given me a refreshed, more defined appearance while still looking completely like myself. Beyond her talent, Wendy is professional, patient, and genuinely cares about delivering exceptional results. She takes her time, listens carefully, and ensures every detail is just right. Her expertise, attention to symmetry, and commitment to quality truly set her apart. If you're looking for someone with an artistic eye, technical skill, and a dedication to helping clients look and feel their best, Wendy is absolutely outstanding. Sit tight this is a long one. First of all I have to say Amber is great. She initially did my…read morelashes and they looked perfect! So this review has nothing to do with her. I needed a fill and I sent to the salon and told the lash tech exactly what I wanted. My lashes were grown out and when she initially did my lashes and removed the old ones she never Informed me that she was going to charge me for a full set. That should've been discussed at the beginning of the service. They charge $300 for a full set, which I think is completely absurd anyways. My first Phil that I had I came after two weeks and my lash tech told me that I could go longer because I really didn't need a Phil, so I extended a little over a week for my third Phil. Again whether they were grown out or not, I should've been told from the beginning that they were planning on charging me $300 so I can make my decision whether or not I wanted to continue with the service. Right before I was done the girl told me that she was charging me for a full set. When I looked at my Lashes, they did not look anything like I asked. I stated that I wanted them very full and very long and the 4D or 5D whatever they are called volume Lashes. They were not even close. I tipped the girl and I paid the $300 after arguing back-and-forth and then she said she would have the manager contact me. The manager who is extremely rude, contacted me and told me that she would discount my service and charge me $220. Instead of paying $300. I then told her how unhappy I was with my Lashes and she told me that I could come back and somebody else would fix them for free so I agreed. I had an appointment at 6 PM on a Thursday. I got out of work early that day and I asked if I could come early she said she was out of the country and she would check with the girl who was doing my lashes. She said they have 3 PM available but it was close to 3 PM at that time and I said I could be there a little after three so they agreed for 3:15 PM. I went to the salon and I stood there while the door was locked in the middle of a workday and this is not the first time this has happened. I even sent a video to the owner saying that I've been outside for 10 minutes knocking on the door and nobody is answering. Mind you I live a good distance from that Salon. She then told me that the lash tech said OK to something else and that I wasn't supposed to come at 3:15 but then She She told me I could come back at 6 PM. I was fuming. I drove out of the way. Got somebody to watch my daughter so that I could go there and she acted like it was no big deal. She then told me that she was confused on the time because she was out of the country, but that does not change the time for somebody here in Florida when you state 3:15 PM. At this point I was done and I just wanted my money back and then she had the audacity to say "you were the one who changed the time" I asked if it was OK I did not change the time without any confirmation. The owner is so snotty. I cannot believe the way that she treated me because she made a mistake, she tried turning it around on me. She said "my time is different than Florida time" but the girl that you text messaged in Florida knows what time it is. After complaining, she finally agreed to refund the money and told me she would do it on Wednesday of the next week when she got home. Wednesday came and she said she processed the refund and it will appear shortly and she will send me the confirmation. I still did not receive the confirmation or the refund and then she told me that it's too late because my service was done last Thursday that it was too late to do the refund. I've been stated to her that was not my problem that you made a mistake and did not process the refund in time and I still wanted my money. She told me that I needed to call corporate to get this handled and I told her no you call corporate and get it handled. This was your mistake. She ended up sending me the money through Zelle and refunded the other $220 that she charged me. The reason for my review is that an owner of a Salon should never have treated a customer in this manner and because she made a mistake. She tried turning it around on me. That is not good Managment and that is not the way you treat customers. Then The lashes that were done initially from the girl that I did not like ended up falling out the first week. My right eye only had about 20% of the Lashes left. It's a shame because when I find somebody I stick with them for a long time. I truly did love Amber and thought she did a wonderful job, but I will never return to that Salon because of the way that I was treated from the owner. That is not classy, and I would never treat somebody in that manner. Go elsewhere. Save your time and money.
