I've been a loyal customer for six years. At the Okeechobee location.. I went in there today and she chopped my eyebrows I've never been so disappointed you lost a loyal customer. I will never go back there again and you know her excuses was that my eyebrows were thin. no they weren't when the last time I went the girl did my eyebrows they were fine. When I got home to check on my eyebrows what a butcher job she did on them I am so disappointed one loyal customer gone. read more

Let me start by saying I'm very picky about who does my eyebrows. I always get them done by the same girl where I live. But I was in town for a holiday party and realized I needed help! Disha came to the rescue with her friendly and wonderful service. She took her time and made sure I was happy w the results. The cold stones at the end made for a relaxing finish. I would recommend having aloe vera or witch hazel on hand for clients as a finisher too. read more

I am so upset I told the lady that did my eyebrows that I had been growing out my eyebrows for 6 months that I just wanted to clean them up. She made my eyebrows super thin. I could not believe it when I looked at myself. She told me she understood. So why make my eyebrows super thin. She just proceeded to do whatever she wanted. I'm super picky about my eyebrows (as is anyone) so I was definitely nervous to try something new.. Ana took great care of me! She even told me that my eyebrows were a little off & that she was going to fix it!! So I felt super comfortable right off the bat. Not to mention the prices!! 17$ for eyebrows & upper lip!!! I am used to paying $25.. Ana also signed me up for a loyalty program (my name phone number & birthday) 10 stamps gets you a free service. I appreciate a program like that consider eyebrows is a constant thing that you always come back for.. My eyebrows look amazing & my lip didn't hurt as bad as it normally does. Perfection! I have been going to the same place for at least 6 years; at the beginning a lady named Disha did my brows. I loved her but she left and I never saw her again. I bounced around from person to person and their employees came and went non stop. Sometimes I'd get great service. Sometimes I hated my brows. But it was the only threading place I knew of so I kept going. 2 weeks ago I was driving to a doctors appt and had to go get my brows down later- when I saw a sign for this place. It's much closer to my house and I thought "what the heck I'll try it" I went in and was warmly welcomed by Dee who was nothing short of sweet. She threaded my brows and took her time and explained that one she was just cleaning up to fix it next time. The place was very clean and I had time before my doctors appointment so I asked for the foot massage. She set up and we talked tho whole time. (Usually I HATE talking during a massage but this was good conversation and it was no big deal!) I started to tell her about the place I previously went to and how my brow girl's name was Disha... Turns out the owner of this place is MY OLD BROW LADY! I'm more than happy for her to own her business! Such an accomplishment! Anywho my massage was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I will keep coming here because wether I get Dee or Disha I know my brows will be perfect. I kid you not, I have been getting compliments daily on my brows! Can't wait to go back tomorrow!! read more

When you move somewhere new, even if you have friends and family around you, it's still hard to call it home. When you're "home," you don't have to find your go-to places. Why? Because you've been going there for years. Sometimes even decades. I can honestly say I've found a home at Threading by Disha. Dee actually did my brows, and although I read the Yelp reviews, I had already had a less-than-stellar experience elsewhere and well... it's just not your go-to person, ya know? Dee was AWESOME. Admittedly I can be very critical depending on the circumstances, and she was very patient as I tried explaining to her how I had them done in the past. Even when I tried to look up pictures on my phone to show her examples (again, VERY patient, lol), she assured me I was in good hands. And I most certainly was! She has an extremely delicate touch, and she took the time to get them done perfectly. Again, I can be critical and I said PERFECTLY. It's suuuch a relief to know I don't have to keep searching for someone that can do the job right. Divia is now my go-to! If there's one thing to mention, it's a little more than I paid in a bigger city. Roughly 33% higher. But sometimes you have to make exceptions for exceptional work. I won't say those cold stone massages are worth the price difference, but they are a nice touch. Hahaha read more

THANK YOU! I came here as a recommendation from my mom. I'm from out-of-state and got my eyebrows threaded back home about a month ago. The woman who did my eyebrows completely ruined my right brow and I've been trying to grow it back to normal. Sadly, it's not growing back normally. My face has looked lopsided ever since. I came here hoping my eyebrows could be fixed. Needless to say, I'm SO HAPPY. I thought they were a lost cause, but the woman completely fixed my right eyebrow and matched my left one so the symmetry in my face came back. If I lived here, this would be my place. THANK YOU FOR FIXING MY EYEBROWS! read more

I recently relocated and was looking for an eyebrow threading place. Previously, I went to the same lady for four years and only trusted her when it came to my eyebrows. So, I was nervous about trying out a new place, but I came early in the morning and didn't have to wait long at all! The threading was pretty painless and there were no cuts or anything after, which is a major plus! The cold stones is a nice touch -- first time having that done. They also offer a stamp card and you can earn a free eyebrow threading after 10 visits. I love how my eyebrows turned out, and I will definitely be back! read more

Stay away from this salon! I went here earlier this week to get my eyebrows done and got a complete whack job :-( . My eyebrows look terrible now and its humiliating infront of my friends and family. On top of that the owner Disha gave me sassy remarks saying you should know what to say on how you want to get your eyebrows done! Will never go back and will warn others too! read more

I booked a brow threading appointment for Friday, August 7 at 12:00 PM and received a confirmation stating that my appointment was successfully scheduled. The confirmation listed the location as 410 Evernia St., Suite 104. I arrived at the address for my appointment but could not locate the studio or any signage for La'Donna Paris. I went inside the building and asked the front desk for assistance and was directed outside, but I still could not find the business. While I was there during my scheduled appointment time, I emailed La'Donna asking for help locating the studio and specifically requested a phone call. I never received a response. I ultimately had to leave without receiving the service I had booked. Afterward, I tried using the contact page on the business's website and received a "page not found" error. What is especially frustrating is that the business is still listed online as open and is accepting/sending appointment confirmations, despite there being no apparent storefront or signage at the listed address and no response when I needed assistance finding the location. I understand that things happen, but if your business has moved, changed how clients are seen, or is no longer operating at this location, that information needs to be clearly communicated before customers arrive for confirmed appointments. I'm leaving this review because I don't want someone else to take time out of their day, travel to the listed location, and experience the same thing. I do not recommend going here.

My current lasher moved too far away so I was seeking a reputable salon for my fills, as any good client I made my appointment two weeks out for their earliest appointment (with a lasher with good reviews). A week later I received a message that my appointment was moved from the morning to the afternoon. This didn't work with my schedule so I went online to rebook my appointment. Now, there are fewer morning appointments available and I'm having to push back my length of time between fills. I found an early appointment, on a different day, with a deferent artist that had good reviews so I booked that. I received the 48 hour confirmation for my appointment, and confirmed right away. Fast forward to MIDNIGHT that same day (the day before my appointment!!) and I get a text saying that my appointment is now with a completely different lasher and a later time. Needless to say, I cancelled my appointment and I will go to another salon. I don't understand where this is acceptable. I hear horror stories all the time about clients cancelling last minute and trying to dictate their lashers schedules. Never would I think a SALON do this.

Once we got on the same page, they shaped her nails and added a design, which turned out really cute. The staff -- especially the women working with my daughter -- were very patient and gentle with her. Even when she accidentally messed up a nail, they fixed it with no problem, which I appreciated. The salon itself is clean and in a nice area, and both of our nails came out looking good. My daughter was happy, which is what mattered most. However I got lucky and received great service and shapely eyebrows from Nisha. Nisha works on Wednesdays, Fridays, and weekends. She has a eye for attention to detail and makes my eyebrows look perfect. In addition, she makes sure I'm happy with the shaping and in between shows me how the shape is coming along. I highly recommend getting threaded instead of waxed on your face. It's so much better for your skin. If you have never gotten your eyebrows threaded, in the scale of pain, it's not so bad. Even if you have sensitive skin you will be able to handle it and if you can't only a few uncontrolled tears will come out. In the past year they have added two more service chairs, meaning wait time is less now since they have two additional ladies who joined their team. They have replaced the sofa with bar stools while you wait. Overall, good changes. I gave them a shot and tried out a few of their threaders, who did an ok job. But then I found Nesha (spelling?) and I've had my brows slayed ever since! You can tell she's really good because many of the other women who come to the shop are sitting in the waiting chairs just for her, even though there are other ladies available to provide the same service. She takes her time and makes the unpleasant experience of threading bearable. There is one other lady named Saima who did a great job when I had her once and she works weekdays when Nesha isn't there (Nesha works Friday-Sunday) so you have someone to get those brows done if you can't wait til the weekend. Prices are okay, $11 for brows. Make sure to ask for a punch out card if you plan on coming back often-they don't volunteer that information but they have them.

After doing research on various businesses in the area, I came across Greatest Lashes & Skin, and I'm so happy I did. Based on the services they offer, pricing, and reviews, I came here for the first time a couple of months ago for a lash lift with Monica. I have always been a little weary of getting eyelash extensions (even though so many friends have done it with little to no issues) and thought this would be a good first step. Monica was great and my lashes looked incredible--highly recommend if you're considering this service. Then, enter last night: I decided to bite the bullet and finally try a classic set of lash extensions. Christina was so sweet and patient with me, answering ALL of my questions... and there were a lot. She was so thoughtful, thorough, and covered all the bases on how to prolong my lashes, how to maintain and care for them, things to avoid, etc. I didn't know what to expect going into this, being a newbie and all, but Christina and her magic far exceeded any expectations! I love, LOVE the way my lashes look. I was put at such ease and comfort, didn't feel a thing, and still don't feel a thing -- except for feelin' myself, heyyyy. :) Cannot recommend this salon and the ladies here enough. Plus, who doesn't love a cute salon that's totally Instagram-worthy?! Go and get it, ladies!
