My current lasher moved too far away so I was seeking a reputable salon for my fills, as any good client I made my appointment two weeks out for their earliest appointment (with a lasher with good reviews). A week later I received a message that my appointment was moved from the morning to the afternoon. This didn't work with my schedule so I went online to rebook my appointment. Now, there are fewer morning appointments available and I'm having to push back my length of time between fills. I found an early appointment, on a different day, with a deferent artist that had good reviews so I booked that. I received the 48 hour confirmation for my appointment, and confirmed right away. Fast forward to MIDNIGHT that same day (the day before my appointment!!) and I get a text saying that my appointment is now with a completely different lasher and a later time. Needless to say, I cancelled my appointment and I will go to another salon. I don't understand where this is acceptable. I hear horror stories all the time about clients cancelling last minute and trying to dictate their lashers schedules. Never would I think a SALON do this.

I would not recommend booking an appointment here without first confirming that the business is…read moreactually operating at the listed location. I booked a brow threading appointment for Friday, August 7 at 12:00 PM and received a confirmation stating that my appointment was successfully scheduled. The confirmation listed the location as 410 Evernia St., Suite 104. I arrived at the address for my appointment but could not locate the studio or any signage for La'Donna Paris. I went inside the building and asked the front desk for assistance and was directed outside, but I still could not find the business. While I was there during my scheduled appointment time, I emailed La'Donna asking for help locating the studio and specifically requested a phone call. I never received a response. I ultimately had to leave without receiving the service I had booked. Afterward, I tried using the contact page on the business's website and received a "page not found" error. What is especially frustrating is that the business is still listed online as open and is accepting/sending appointment confirmations, despite there being no apparent storefront or signage at the listed address and no response when I needed assistance finding the location. I understand that things happen, but if your business has moved, changed how clients are seen, or is no longer operating at this location, that information needs to be clearly communicated before customers arrive for confirmed appointments. I'm leaving this review because I don't want someone else to take time out of their day, travel to the listed location, and experience the same thing. I do not recommend going here.

However I got lucky and received great service and shapely eyebrows from Nisha. Nisha works on Wednesdays, Fridays, and weekends. She has a eye for attention to detail and makes my eyebrows look perfect. In addition, she makes sure I'm happy with the shaping and in between shows me how the shape is coming along. I highly recommend getting threaded instead of waxed on your face. It's so much better for your skin. If you have never gotten your eyebrows threaded, in the scale of pain, it's not so bad. Even if you have sensitive skin you will be able to handle it and if you can't only a few uncontrolled tears will come out. In the past year they have added two more service chairs, meaning wait time is less now since they have two additional ladies who joined their team. They have replaced the sofa with bar stools while you wait. Overall, good changes. The prices have not increased this year, which is great because compared to other threading salon this one is decently priced.~

I gave them a shot and tried out a few of their threaders, who did an ok job. But then I found Nesha (spelling?) and I've had my brows slayed ever since! You can tell she's really good because many of the other women who come to the shop are sitting in the waiting chairs just for her, even though there are other ladies available to provide the same service. She takes her time and makes the unpleasant experience of threading bearable. There is one other lady named Saima who did a great job when I had her once and she works weekdays when Nesha isn't there (Nesha works Friday-Sunday) so you have someone to get those brows done if you can't wait til the weekend. Prices are okay, $11 for brows. Make sure to ask for a punch out card if you plan on coming back often-they don't volunteer that information but they have them.

Came in for a kids manicure for my daughter and a polish change for myself…read more I chose this salon because they listed kids manicures, but when we arrived there was a bit of confusion about what that included. Once we got on the same page, they shaped her nails and added a design, which turned out really cute. The staff -- especially the women working with my daughter -- were very patient and gentle with her. Even when she accidentally messed up a nail, they fixed it with no problem, which I appreciated. The salon itself is clean and in a nice area, and both of our nails came out looking good. My daughter was happy, which is what mattered most. The experience felt a little unclear at times, and drying options seemed limited, but overall it was a pleasant visit.
