I normally have quite a bit of patience with nail salons, and I really did give this place a fair shot. I've been a total of three times, and while the two prior occasions were decent, this most recent really put me over the edge. The actual quality of the manicure/pedicure services there are about what you would expect from Covington. Decent, but nothing special. They have good sanitation habits and the end result, while not spectacular, is good. I arrived there for my mani/pedi at about 3:15. They sat me right away and got right to work. HOWEVER. I did not leave the salon until 5:00. In total, I was there for an hour and 45 minutes. The reason I'm giving such a low review is because this is NOT a place to go if you are in any sort of rush. Normally I'm a huge fan of a long and multi-step massage, but that was not the only part of the service that was drawn out. This was a BASIC mani and pedi. I swear the tech spent 20 minutes just clipping at my cuticles. And she didn't even do it very well. I tried so hard to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but this was the longest I've ever sat for a mani/pedi in my life. This is something that normally takes just over an hour if they're busy. There was only one other client in the room with me. All in all, decent quality of service, but if you have a life to get back to, this is not a place you'll want to waste your time. read more

I just got out of there shop. The 30$ treatment was ok for my toes they kept asking if I wanted gel an I had to keep saying no, she did an OK gel nail job on my fingers I asked them to keep my nails long they still made them short, would NOT STOP FILING. An poord cold ass water on my feet in the water that was already getting cold. I'll see if the polish at least last. UPDATE 7 days later and the polish has chipped all over and I seriously just want to take it off. Dumbest 60$ I ever spent read more

Used to be my favorite salon. Now they barely speak when i come in, and i always tip. I've gotten my nails done multiple times and the guy didn't even say a word to me and acted like he had an attitude when I showed him a picture of the color i wanted on my phone. I'll keep going to get my brows and feet done but I've found another salon a little further out to do my nails from now on. read more

Came from N.C. to visit family and looked up this location and it was my second time coming. The first time was great but this time was HORRIBLE. I feel like the guy who did my nails was rushing and did not take his time. I just got two nails fixed and a color change and it was $28. That's was a lot. I came here a little over 3-4 weeks ago for a pedicure and had the worst experience at this salon. I am a regular and received a terrible pedicure along with the nasty attitude of the lady working. I made her aware of my injured ankle to prevent any bumping or tight squeezing. Minutes into the service I started to pay attention (as I normally do since these are my feet) and the person giving my service had an attitude because of me watching her! For Gods sake these are MY feet I'm entitled to look. I also double check my toes once they're been cut to make sure they're a comfortable length and she had the audacity to move my hand away and proceed to grab my injured ankle! My toes were cut entirely too short, her attitude was disgusting, and the simple disregard for my injury is unacceptable. She wears glasses, a little on the slim side, and has long black hair. I have been several times. I really wanted to like this salon. The pedicures are nice. The people are nice. However, I get the gel nails. They do. It use the ultraviolet light machines with timers. They rush your nails under the light. The result: the nails peel off with in two to three days or a new week. The gel nails I have had over the years ....many many years, will last three weeks when done right. The first time it happened, the peeled off in two days. I went back in and they redid for free. They took their time on the redo and my nails lasted three weeks. I went back and reminded them not to rush and please keep the nails under the light for the required time. She shook her head yes and rushed. The nails peeled off after five days. I called and told them but could not go back in. Four days ago, it happened again. I even told the girl that we were not leaving the nails under light long enough. A couple of times I refused to even remove my hand. I was still rushed. They have peeled off again. Three strikes, you're out. Will not go back. read more
