I was immediately impressed with Sandra after my initial inquiry. I admittedly waited too long to find a hair/make up artist, and received so many "we are booked emails" and even some "you shouldn't have waited so long to book, of course we don't have space for you" snarky and terse responses. I was feeling pretty hopeless until I heard back from Sandra! She was so quick to respond to my message, and despite having another wedding that same day, she was able to squeeze me into her schedule! Booking the hair/makeup trial was super easy as well - she has an online booking feature to her website and a questionnaire that allows you to provide your hair/skin details and even inspiration photos - this made the communication process incredibly easy. She had an opening for us right away and we met in her home studio - it was private, clean, and the perfect setup! She was on time, attentive, and SO easy to be around. She is extremely kind, friendly, and professional. I also appreciated the COVID precautions she took with sanitizing and wearing a mask. The trial process was fantastic and she asked questions to make sure each step of the make up process was guided by your wishes - when it came to the hair trial she tried several styles, allowed us to go over our time slot, gave us samples, and took notes on what she did/could improve for the wedding day. She gave us advice on which hair pieces to use but also allowed us to say our preferences. It was the perfect combination of sharing your vision, but having it perfected by an expert! The day of the wedding could not have gone better. She met at our house, was on time, brought her ENTIRE setup - we literally didn't need to provide her with anything. She was completely calm, kind, and fun to be around the day of - I only got ready with my sister (maid of honor) and one friend, so having Sandra there was nice - she was positive and just another one in the group! She was quick with the services and the hair/make up came out even better than I ever could have imagined! Even with a windy day, my hair stayed in place and turned out so beautiful in all of the photos. It was my first time with fake eyelashes and they stayed on the whole evening and looked VERY natural in photographs - even my husband commented on how natural they looked (I was worried what he'd think so close up). Lastly, Sandra's prices are completely affordable and such a deal! I totally recommend her for any event, especially a wedding. Thank you Sandra!!!
