I called the manager Scott to see what they had done for previous customers and he informed me that it should be fixed with in the week and to call him back then. I called him back a week later just to see the status of her registration number before I resubmit the claim, and Scott decided to comp my next massage to make up for it. I didn't even have to complain and he was willing to resolve the issue. I am quite impressed with their customer service and how the situation was handled. Scott was fantastic and I would recommend the spa to anyone.

I told her I wanted something feminine, hair on the sides I could sweep forward, and even showed her a past photo of when my bangs had been butchered (I told her I feel anxious every time I come to the salon because of awful cuts I've received like it) and she went ahead and cut them too short anyway saying that we would start with that and could always cut them shorter if I wanted. I showed her photos of what I thought was feminine vs young and funky. I did NOT get feminine. (I'm also 50!) I asked that my highlights not be spikey, I showed her a photo with more chunks, but was given spikey - and a copper colour, not the auburn I asked for. I returned a few days later to ask her to shave the sides and back one shorter so there was contrast between the top and sides. I felt the need to talk to her about how upset I was. While talking I told her that I was very disappointed with my cut and that it wasn't what I asked for. She agreed with me that 1) my head was an odd shape now with this cut 2) that it was NOT going to grow out nicely (another thing I told her was important to me and after two weeks it is already sprouting up in odd spots), 3) to keep my cowlick in mind (big hole there now that she agreed was hard to deal with) and 4) I should probably see a barber next time instead of going to a salon because they would be more qualified with a cut like this. With tip (that I absolutely regret paying) I paid over $250 for this. She seemed nervous during the cut, she didn't show me the sides or back with a mirror so I didn't realize how bad it was until I got home, and when you go to pay and the guy at the counter can't muster up a "you look great!" (despite what he thinks), it makes you feel awful. Needless to say, I will NOT be returning. She couldn't even offer the slightest apology.

Unfortunately though I never got that far. I initially tried to book back in July/August but the availability was very limited (I was looking for evenings or weekends due to work schedule). I managed to make an appointment only to have it cancelled the day after I made it due to scheduling error. The receptionist then said she would call me back with an available time which never happened. I never ended up getting that phone call so I went somewhere else. I decided to give them another try and called them last week for the same appointment. The exact issue happened again....they couldn't find an available spot and said they would call me back. 5 days go by and no phone call but this time I decide to call them to follow up. The receptionist then begins to tell me that the staff that observes the apprentice has gone on maternity leave and can't get ahold of her to book the appointment. So after some back and forth finally I asked "does that mean that your no longer offering there services?" to which she says "yeah I guess." It was a struggle for me to get a straight answer from her. If they can't offer services they should inform the customer or at least not promise to call them and not follow through with it. The services they offer were good when I went but unfortunately I can't say the same thing for their customer services related to booking or follow through.

The girl did take the time to ask questions about the look I was going for. One thing I stressed was that in my last appointment I had a volume set (and paid way too much for it) and that I didn't want that again. This time, I was looking for a more natural look - hence the hybrid. She asked if the length was ok in the past, I agreed it wasn't too bad. I stressed I felt like the volume set was just too thick and a little too "young" for my age. At the beginning she did mention some of girls have started their fall shed so I can expect the same. She was giving lengthy explanations of what she was doing and reiterated she prefers I tell her if something wasn't right rather than not saying anything. She began the work but at the end when I held the mirror up I was so very disappointed. It looked exactly like she took a fake set out of the package at the local drug store and glued the strip to my eyelids. Horrible! That's not natural. They were so curled it looked like the tips were attached to my eyelids as well. That's not natural. They looked like they were perfectly cut across the top with a pair of scissors. That's not natural either. There were zero lashes in the corners. That's not natThey were so thick and dark and stiff and they almost looked blue in the sunlight. I immediately told her I didn't like them at all (remembering she'd prefer to hear that) Instead of listening to me, she got very defensive and kept holding up a piece of paper saying they did this length last time. Always something about last time. Again, I wanted a natural look therefore a hybrid because I didn't want it to look like last time. I kept giving very valid reasons why I didn't like them. She simply said do you want me to take them off for you? I had another appointment after and declined. It was very evident of my dissatisfaction but she didn't care. I paid the $183.75 and when paying she came over and offered to remove them and lucky me, she wasn't even going to charge me! I don't think I should have paid for them at all. If she's only going to refer to a piece of paper and negate everything I say, then why bother asking questions? After leaving, I sat in my vehicle and cancelled my next appointment. Called my old lash business I went to for years (quit going cause it was too far after I moved) and explained my situation and my lash expert I had been going to for 5 years made some arrangements to book me in the next day. I immediately went back into Posh - less than 5 minutes later and told the girl I wanted the lashes removed. I was embarrassed leaving with them. All of a sudden she wasn't available to remove them. Someone else did it and I couldn't get them off quick enough. Never again! Just because you give lengthy explanations doesn't make you an expert. And acting defensive when a customer isn't happy doesn't make you a professional. UPDATE - I just read the owners review and am very disappointed to see it's full of inaccuracies and lies. I was NEVER told the lashes were going to be a repeat of what was done in the past. Not once. I was asked if I was pleased with the length, I recalled I probably was. There was absolutely ZERO discussion about curl, extra fullness or any of the the other claims made by the owner. Furthermore, there was NEVER an offer to have the fee waived. NOT ONCE. I would have have gladly taken them up on their offer if they had. They NEVER offered to redo them either. This reaffirms their lack of professionalism and the lengths they'll go, to take responsibility. It was only after I declined an appointment for a fill (in what they insisted had to be within a 2 week period) staring "I won't be back" that the technician came over with an attitude and said if I didn't like them she'd remove them. As I said in my review, I declined due to another commitment. Certainly no offers of any kind were made to me prior to paying. FALSE, FALSE, FALSE. After going to my vehicle and making alternate arrangements with my commitment, I did return to immediately have the lashes removed. In that span of a few minutes, the technician rescinded her offer. She was NOT with another client. She was actually folding towels at her station. I will GLADLY be contacting you to have my money refunded.

My massage therapist Jasmine was lovely, she checked with my throughout my massage to make sure the pressure was good and that I felt good. I really appreciated that. She used a heat lamp to keep my feet warm and some essential oil on my neck. She was very attentive to the areas I asked her to focus on.

The regular parking spots are very tight there. TCM doesn't open until 10:00 am (Their website has the wrong hours) and it was 9:15 in the morning. I only had a few items to buy and assured the woman that I would leave well before 10:00. I was told that the next time I parked in front of their business, she would call the police to tow my car." I've never used TCM's services and am unlikely to. Someone who verbally threatens a disabled person is someone I wouldn't let massage my body or stick a pin to rebalance my chi. I'm really not worried about the threats because the last I heard, the Edmonton Police Service doesn't have any tow trucks. They hand out tickets for illegal parking, which I wasn't.

I find that I have a good experience from services from people with "language barriers" if I express my self clearly and demonstrate and emphasize what I needed done , if they miss something i have to clearly point it out. I do think that they have a strong laser setting, because I have this burning itch up to 4 days after the session on the area that was lasered. It was so strong that my hair follicles I think died officially after 5 treatments.
