Heidi made sure to explain the process fully and carefully created the colour that I was looking to achieve. To help her with the colour I had in mind, I brought the lip tint that I normally used. She then crafted the colour with her pigments and ensured that I was happy with the colour prior to applying it. Keeping in mind that everyone's pain tolerance level is different, I did not feel uncomfortable or in pain during the actual process (numbing cream was used before the process begun). Heidi made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire lip blushing process. Upon completion, she thoroughly explained the healing and aftercare process. Again, keeping in mind that everyone's skin will react differently, my lips were pretty swollen after. However, as advised by Heidi, the swelling subsided after 2 days and the whole healing process took about 6 days for all the scabs to come off. Thank you Heidi for doing such a wonderful job!

She helped…read moretreat my mother to a truly professional, clean and enjoyable eyebrow microblading experience. While browsing places to get microblading done for my mom, I came across Oh My Lash and Brow on Yelp. What stood out the most, were the before and after pictures of Heidi's previous clientele. Add in the $250 for $450 voucher and the relative close distance to my house, and I was sold. Next, it was easy calling in and making an appointment for the next day; and Heidi gave useful directions over the phone, for getting to her unit number within the plaza - she is located on the second floor; & once you get up the stairs, there are large signs above each door in the hallway letting you know of which business is which. The overall process took about 3 hours, with the majority of the time being spent on the pre-procedure tasks including: initial information session on microblading, consultation, and sketching of the eyebrows. My mother is a very picky woman so they had to be perfect before we could move on haha - I appreciate Heidi's patience. The actual procedure took anywhere from 30-60 minutes and a lot of numbing agent is applied to the area before and during the procedure to eliminate any pain sensations. Heidi also continually checked in with my mom asking her if she was ok and/or feeling any pain. Another great point to mention was Heidi's obvious knowledge and experience performing this procedure. She gave us plenty of information in the beginning regarding risks, signs of infection to look for following the procedure, and she was sure to explain the sterility of the microblading tools she would be using. [Cool to note that she even staples the freshly opened package to each client's consult form.] With my mom and I both being nurses, we were very happy to see that detail and attention were put into the health safety of the procedure, which involves needles and the breakage of skin, therefore carrying a high potential of transmission of infections. Overall, my mom and I were very happy with the results, the entire process and this wonderful microblading experience with Heidi. She gifted us with another voucher to help spread the word and I will definitely be sure to pass it to a friend. It is well worth the time and money spent! Thank you again Heidi for your professional and courteous service, we will see you again in 3 months time for the first follow-up!

Laser Hair Removal Experience - Disappointed and Let Down…read more I'm writing this review to share my factual, lived experience with Laura so others can make informed decisions. I was a loyal, trusting client who purchased a full body laser hair removal package that included 8 sessions and one additional if needed. Despite this, I was only provided with 8 total sessions -- yet she falsely claim I received "10+." I have detailed records and time-stamped screenshots that prove otherwise. My first session -- done with single pulse mode -- was the only one that produced significant results. When I asked to continue with that mode, Laura (the tech) refused, saying "it takes too long." She used glide mode for the remaining 7 sessions without my consent. Treatments were rushed, poorly done (missing many areas), and produced minimal results. She later admitted in writing that I had made the request for single pulse mode and that she dismissed it. Instead of respecting my preference and safety, she increased the laser's intensity on a mode I didn't consent to -- putting my skin at higher risk for burns or irritation. At one point, Laura seemed open to fixing things. She said, "I truly want to make this right, earn your trust back, and get you results safely and comfortably," and "I never want you to feel taken advantage of or dismissed." But that follow-through never came. Now, both she and the owner of Lovella, Ella, have become cold and uncooperative -- refusing to take accountability or offer a fair solution. When I spoke up, they changed their narrative. They now claim I "rescheduled too often," despite me following the proper 4-8 week timeline between sessions. The 9th session -- part of my original package -- was never delivered, due to their delays. I followed all pre- and post-care instructions exactly. Ella, despite being the business owner of Lovella, who accepted my $2,000 payment, has tried to frame the issue as "between you and Laura." That's unacceptable. The business is hers, and the technician (Laura) worked under her name. I also raised concerns about burns and irritation, which were dismissed without even examining the affected areas. They've since tried to blame me with false claims about doing "home skin treatments," which I absolutely did not do. If they're referring to over-the-counter skincare, none were used near appointments - and certainly not in a way that would invalidate professional results or cause burns. To top it off, Ella ended her message with a veiled threat: "If you choose to leave a negative review based on inaccurate claims, that is to your discretion." Let me be clear: every claim I've made is backed by dated screenshots and written communication. I was denied services I paid for, gaslit, and treated dismissively when I voiced concerns. I asked for a fair partial refund or additional sessions done correctly by someone qualified -- and they refused. Their most recent response was not only dismissive, but full of contradictions. They told me not to contact them by phone (only by email), yet Ella previously asked to have a phone call about this issue. Plus I have never called them about this... Laura now claims she no longer works at Lovella, even though Ella had just told me she works part-time. Which is it? Worst of all, they continue to ignore my documented concerns about burns and ineffective treatment. This entire experience has been frustrating and deeply unfair. I'm not sharing this out of malice, but to protect others from going through what I did. Even now, they are trying to intimidate me into silence. I no longer trust Laura with something as vulnerable as my body, and I encourage anyone considering treatment there to proceed with caution. Final Note: I've stayed respectful throughout and was open to a fair resolution, but they dismissed my concerns and refused to engage further. I'm only sharing this publicly because they left me no other option. I used to love Lovella. This experience has been soul shattering. The betrayal is what stings the most...

I used to go to Daisy Nails all the time with my mom to get a pedicure. I decided to revisit their…read moresalon for a shellac manicure after years of not visiting. When I walked in, the person doing my nails was sitting in a massage chair and I thought she was a customer. Anyways, my nails were in need of  a manicure, half of them were really long, half of them were freshly cut but the lady did the same thing to all my nails -  she just filed them without cutting the really long ones... She also grinded down my nails like crazy probably to smooth out the nail bed but at times, she would miss and grind my skin. She spent 15 minutes cutting my cuticles as well which I thought was unneccessary. After she did this, she asked me to get up and wash my own hands in the sink. I've never been to a salon where they ask you to get up mid-manicure to wash your hands? Is this common? I've gotten quite a few manicures in the past and this has never been asked of me. The nail lady also did not let me pick my own colour. She had a random pink infront of her and she was like "this ones nice" and proceeded to start painting my nails in that colour. I specifically asked for a dusty pink that is really opaque and that was not what she put on my nails. I'm not sure why she wouldn't let me pick a colour off the nail wheel?? I stopped her after she painted one coat of them onto my nails, took out my phone and showed her a picture of what I really wanted. She then proceeds to grab the polish off the table beside her and try and paint my nails with a really bubbly pink which was NOT what I wanted again! Another nail lady had to step in and help her find a colour similar to what I asked for but this could've been avoided if I just spoke up in the beginning and asked to see the nail wheel OR if she offered to let me pick my own colour off the wheel. Anyways, she paints my nails and proceeds to continue filing them after she's painted them and they were COMPLETELY mishapen. Some were round, and some were completely jagged. I will not be revisiting Daisy Nails unfortunately ):

Waste of money. Do not come here. Nails didn't even last a week…read more I paid around $50 for a full gel set with tips and they started lifting the day after! Aside from the lifting issue, the shaping was horrible and the nail technician that did my nails (the owner, I think her name is Cathy) was super distracted. During my nail session she was on her phone and calling people! Not only was the shaping bad but she took over an hour to complete the set. I messaged her the next day to tell her my nails are lifting already and she told me I could come back to fix them for free so I took her up on it. That was a mistake. While she was fixing them with the drill, it got a little hot on my nails sometimes; ouch! On top of that the nails ended up looking even worse than before. Unfortunately I have no photo evidence because they were just so bad I didn't want them to be photographed.

After some persuasion, I agreed to have a makeover done during one of the 'ladies' nights' that a friend of mine had organized. Rachel Renna was the makeup artist that they had hired for the evening. It didn't take long for me to figure out that Rachel is no ordinary makeup artist. She is the next big thing (mark my words). She is one of the most talented artists I have ever come across, and that's including all the encounters I've had with makeup artists throughout my TV career. The thing about Rachel is that she just 'gets' her clients' style. She had one look at me and knew exactly what I would love and what I would hate. Above and beyond that, she handles a brush like no one I've met before. The way she builds, the way she blends, the way she shapes brows... OH MY! The truth is, my words cannot do Rachel's talent justice. She is the best there is when it comes to makeup artistry (I've attached the pictures to prove it) and it wont be long before she becomes an industry leader. You better get in on this while you still can because now that the word is officially out, her waiting list just got a helluvah lot longer.
