Unfortunately, I don't have many lashes to begin with so I usually just go with express set and I usually have to wait a couple of months before doing them again so that my lashes grow back. Normally I can get a refill once before I let them rest though. These lashes last for a long time too. Perhaps 4-5 weeks for me and you can still see them, whereas with other places, it was only 3 weeks. It's also hard not to fall asleep during the session because their memory foam portable beds are so comfortable! Book an appointment at least 1.5-2 weeks ahead if you're looking for a specific time/date. It takes 1-2 hours depending on your lashes and what you want. They have a phone number where you can text for appointments or you can message via Yelp.

If this was my first time, then I wouldn't have any expectations but it isn't so I am quite disappointed with the results. Heidi made sure to explain the process fully and carefully created the colour that I was looking to achieve. To help her with the colour I had in mind, I brought the lip tint that I normally used. She then crafted the colour with her pigments and ensured that I was happy with the colour prior to applying it. Keeping in mind that everyone's pain tolerance level is different, I did not feel uncomfortable or in pain during the actual process (numbing cream was used before the process begun). Heidi made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire lip blushing process. Upon completion, she thoroughly explained the healing and aftercare process. Again, keeping in mind that everyone's skin will react differently, my lips were pretty swollen after. However, as advised by Heidi, the swelling subsided after 2 days and the whole healing process took about 6 days for all the scabs to come off. Thank you Heidi for doing such a wonderful job!

While browsing places to get microblading done for my mom, I came across Oh My Lash and Brow on Yelp. What stood out the most, were the before and after pictures of Heidi's previous clientele. Add in the $250 for $450 voucher and the relative close distance to my house, and I was sold. Next, it was easy calling in and making an appointment for the next day; and Heidi gave useful directions over the phone, for getting to her unit number within the plaza - she is located on the second floor; & once you get up the stairs, there are large signs above each door in the hallway letting you know of which business is which. The overall process took about 3 hours, with the majority of the time being spent on the pre-procedure tasks including: initial information session on microblading, consultation, and sketching of the eyebrows. My mother is a very picky woman so they had to be perfect before we could move on haha - I appreciate Heidi's patience. The actual procedure took anywhere from 30-60 minutes and a lot of numbing agent is applied to the area before and during the procedure to eliminate any pain sensations. Heidi also continually checked in with my mom asking her if she was ok and/or feeling any pain. Another great point to mention was Heidi's obvious knowledge and experience performing this procedure. She gave us plenty of information in the beginning regarding risks, signs of infection to look for following the procedure, and she was sure to explain the sterility of the microblading tools she would be using. [Cool to note that she even staples the freshly opened package to each client's consult form.] With my mom and I both being nurses, we were very happy to see that detail and attention were put into the health safety of the procedure, which involves needles and the breakage of skin, therefore carrying a high potential of transmission of infections. Overall, my mom and I were very happy with the results, the entire process and this wonderful microblading experience with Heidi. She gifted us with another voucher to help spread the word and I will definitely be sure to pass it to a friend. It is well worth the time and money spent! Out of all the extension places I've tried (more than a dozen in the GTA), Tokyo Beauty Studio is the ONLY place I've come back to. I've been coming to them for a couple years now; Whenever I go on vacation and don't want to deal with the hassle of falsies/mascara, you can find me here. There are different technicians, but everyone is excellent. They're perfectionists and meticulous. I can tell them what I'm looking for - and they'll definitely deliver. Unlike other eyelash extension places, they always understand what I want before putting lashes on me. Best of all, these lashes LAST. The full look lasts around 3 weeks for me (Which is a miracle. Admittedly I do rub my eyes, use cleansing oil, the whole shebam.) I don't want a "I bought $1 falsies from eBay and stacked them on my eye" look. Well, the receptionist didn't seem to understand what I was saying, so she booked us in for 3 mani/pedis. Much to our dismay when we arrived that Sunday afternoon, there were only 2 employees working, in a salon with a total of 13 tables and chairs, while 1 employee was already with another client. They brought in 2 of us first and my husband was left behind. 1 employee started with my stepdaughter's pedicure and set me up to soak my feet for a pedicure while the other employee finished up with their client. I asked the one that was working on my stepdaughter how they were going to get us all done in 2 hours? We had come in for my stepdaughter's birthday to get all our manicure/pedicure services done at the same time. The 1 employee professed that a 3rd employee was scheduled to work but called that very morning to say she was unable to come in. I replied that they should have contacted me to advise me that they were going to be short-staffed and not able to fulfill our appointment as requested. I told them that we had other events planned after our appointment and that we could not wait around for 4 hours while we all received our services. This is very poor customer service and my husband and I did not end up receiving services that day nor will I ever go back. Also, we ended up getting charged over double the prices that are posted on this web listing, and the services I had requested were not even available!!! This business is very poorly managed and we were very disappointed that we were not able to celebrate my stepdaughter's birthday the way we had planned. We did not feel pampered at all.

I am absolutely in love with the results! My short straight Asian lashes were transformed into the wispy fluttering lashes that I've always wanted! They looked completely natural as well and I received many compliments by friends and family on how great my lashes looked! First off, the atmosphere inside Moss was clean and fresh, and their lash stations were located in a very pretty area at the back of the store that was nice and cozy. My lash tech did a great job in making sure I was comfortable the entire time, and explained what she was doing so I was never in the dark about what was happening (even with my eyes closed haha). I got the Love Classic set and the whole process took just a little over an hour and a half. At one point I was so relaxed I ended up falling asleep! I will definitely be coming back to get fills when I can, and would gladly recommend this place to anyone wanting to amp up their lash game!
