First time at this nail salon and now with the pandemic, they have the plexiglass up and plastic covers on the chairs which was great. Not a big fan on how they present their colour palette. It's too messy and overwhelming. The technician suggested ombré for my nails as it can match anything, love the colour but the ombré transition is not as smooth as I'd hope. Had a pedicure done, it seemed pretty decent and place is clean. They kinda left me in the massage chair watching cp24 until my nails dried so by the time I left it was over an hour, not sure if that's normal. The ladies are friendly especially the owner who was training a new tech while I was there. Would go back for sure. read more

I went to wax my brows and the lady did a good job! It costs $8 and the lady was attentive, the wax wasn't too hot and it didn't hurt that much. I'm used to threading but with waxing my brows still came out looking nice and cleaned up. Also, they don't offer threading anymore. read more

The place looks promising, very clean. The staff was nice as well. As for the nails, at first they turned out well. The lady took her time and was precise. My full set gel nails legitimately peeled off the first week after getting them done. After a couple days I could start to see the gel peeling away at the corners, which is not suppose to happen. It's hard to find a very clean nail salon in the suburbs that is worth the bang for your buck. Nail Brite was surprising a cave worth exploring. $25 for a classic pedicure, $15 for a classic manicure (assuming $35 for the two combined). Pedicure includes soaking, cleansing, buffing, light exfoliation, light massage and of course an OPI polish finish. Very nice for a very fine price. Very spacious and most importantly CLEAN! I'm not only referring to the cleanliness of the store, I'm highlighting the STERILE EQUIPMENT the ladies use. Every client gets a fresh batch of tools that have been pressure steamed to remove bacteria (same procedure used on certain medical equipment) and disposable slippers, although very thin, is something to appreciate. I went for a shellac mani yesterday, after they said yes to having OPI Gel colour...and then the ABSOLUTE UNTHINKABLE: they tried to DISCOURAGE me from using OPI for a shellac manicure b/c in their mind, it's not very durable. I was insistent, as I only use OPI for shellac manicures, but I found that it was like the person doing my nails was totally reluctant. I went here to get UV gel full set with my mom and I had recieved the ugliest nails of my life. The process was painful, the girl I had made me bleed and didn't properly apply the fake nail, and then proceeded to put my hand underneath the light without the fake. An absolutely horrible place where the lady who was doing my eyebrows, took half of my eyebrow off!!! Then she started yelling at me, and arguing that this is how it was to begin with. After I showed my photo with, well, eyebrows to her and her boss, they looked at it for a few minutes then she started giving advice about eyebrow pencils. She didn't apologise, didn't try fixing it (although, I honestly don't know how you can fix something like that). Nothing. This place was great! I went there for the first time. It's slightly more expensive but you get what you pay for. I got a mani and pedi. The exfoliator they used on my feet looked like it was a homemade sugar scrub, the massage was part of the pedi was great, and the massage chair was really nice. She was in the phone most of the time which is rude. She got polish all over my hands didn't clean it until I asked her to. She filed down my nails so much now they are so thin. This is my first review, and only because I was so disappointed with the service here. I came to this salon a couple of years back when it first opened and loved it. It was clean, and they used brand new tools every time which seemed much more sanitary to me. However, they do not do this any more. I recently got a shellac manicure and the job was poorly done. The coating was uneven and you could see many streak marks. After a few days, my nails started to turn light green and looked blotchy. I have no idea why this would happen, but it looked even more awful than it already did. The shellac started coming off less than a week in, so I returned and showed them my nails, suggesting if I could get them removed for free since it saw a poorly done job. The owner/manager was very unprofessional, speaking in Mandarin (I'm Chinese myself), which was very rude. She refused to offer the $5 service to remove my nails so I ended up paying for it. Her reasoning was because I did not come back within 5 days, which is not mentioned anywhere. This was very frustrating and has left a bitter taste in my mouth. I will not be returning to this nail salon and will go out of my way to find a place that provides customer service and is more professional. read more

I used to come here every two weeks until the nail lady took off my acrylic tips and she filed my natural nails so thin that they broke hours within getting them done. I went back and they said that they would fix it for free, but they ended up charging me which I found this really unprofessional, since it was the tech's error. I tried giving it a chance two days ago and the woman messed up my nail shape, I had to keep telling her to fix it and she kept dismissing it and saying that she wasn't done yet. She filed my thumb too short and too crooked on my right hand, and then all the nails on the left weren't shaped properly. She honestly could've just left the shape that are ready were in instead of messing it up trying to do her version of a coffin. But I had to tell her 20 times to fix my nail and I wasn't being rude about it and I felt like it was uncomfortable because everyone else in the salon was quiet and all you could hear was me telling her just to simply fix my nails. I used to love this place, but now they have a new owner who is always in there, and I am not very fond of her. She tried to argue with me about what I wanted vs what she thinks I should have, she never smiled, and she seemed to just speak to her colleagues in Chinese ( pet peeve). All the old staff left too, except the manager. I wonder why? I really liked some of the previous staff. Why is it so dark in there? Turn some lights on? First time I went their they charged 11 bucks to do a pedicure for my 5 year old which was reasonable. The second time we went they charged me 25 bucks to do my 5 year olds little toes. I was absolutely shocked and disgusted by the rip off price to do a little girls toes. I will never go back there because of this reason. Really messy job. I got a shellac manicure and the uv light was oddly hot and there was a burning sensation when I placed my hand in. I told the lady who was doing my nails that it was hot and she laughed it off. Not only that but I have polish under my nails and my polish is uneven from one hand to the other. I also found it odd that they placed a plastic bag in the foot bath and filled it with water as a liner between the foot bath and my feet.
