I experienced MIGRATION with my lip filler and paid $2,000 to have my face done with Botox as well which was WAY overpriced, I feel she took advantage but anyhow the first appt was actually not bad. My lips looked ok but not as full as I wanted and she told me I could choose to come back and have the rest of the syringe (already paid for mind you) done in my lips in two weeks if I wanted them fuller and I guess if you don't you just waste money and they waste product which I know isn't standard practice. We tried to schedule this second filler injection and I missed two appts admittedly and paid a fee because I knew I was at fault for that, I'm an extremely busy working mother and I just kept getting swamped. So I booked a third follow up having also noticed that one whole section of my forehead looked like it wasn't even injected with Botox at all and there was just this one corner that had not been injected with Botox so now I needed to come in for that too So I go in for my appt and I'm about 10 minutes late but called to let them know I'd just gotten off work and would be a little late but apparently this pissed Mrs.Tuggle off or something because she was not like before, nice and professional. NOPE this time she was rude and rushed me and the worst part she jabbed my lips with the needle that felt dull and shoved filler in my lips sloppily and sit was actually PAINFUL! She bruised me SO BADLY!!! She was forceful and rushed and didn't even hand me the mirror afterwards. I was literally manhandled for my filler it was disturbing. She purposely messed up my lips because I missed appts or was late idk but how crazy is that?! She didn't fix my Botox and since it was closing I thought I'd just be sure to schedule again for that or address it at my follow up. But my healing process for my lips was SO BAD I HAD TO CALL AND COMPLAIN WHEN I NOTICED THE FILLER WAS MIGRATING!! She really listens and tries to get to the root cause of the issues and does every thing to support the healing process and to keep my skin clear. She is unprofessional and lacks communication skills that a business owner needs to have a successful business. I had gotten 2 or 3 brow waxes from her when the last one burned my skin pretty bad. I brought it up to her and she offered the next one free. Did not state a timeline or anything about when service had to be completed. I waited before re-booking because I was nervous about the same thing happening again. When I decided to rebook, she then did not respond. When I went to check her Instagram realized I was blocked. I have attached a photo of the burn from the service (a few days after, it was worse but did not think it was from the service as I have had my brows waxed for years which was why I waited to take a photo and send it to her). When I reached out about being blocked when owed a service (that SHE offered) she attacked me by saying I was harassing her and she didn't know why I was still contacting her. I didn't realize a text asking why I was blocked when owed a service was harassment? But definitely bad customer service to treat someone like this. I looked up her licensure on the NM regulation and licensure website as well as BBB and found no license information for her. There is a record of the establishment and a license issued June 23,2020 when I was serviced June 1, 2020 before her facility license was active (according to rld.state.nm.us). I am going to take this up with the state to see why there is no record of her and how she serviced me before the license was active. She refused to work with me & did not even try to do the right thing after harming my skin. I had kindly asked for a refund in which she blocked me instead of trying to have a conversation. Who knows if she is working without a license & when she performs a service that harms someone (in this case me) chooses to block them instead of making things right. I know that I was not out of line in my communication with her. There is nothing listed on her Instagram (as of November 11, 2020) that states any sort of timeline for free services or even her licensure. This may change after this review but I do not believe she has a license as I couldn't find her name and license information online. She has now blocked me on Instagram and my phone number. I think this shows her character as an "esthetician" and her lack of confidence with her services/company to block someone who did no wrong. (I'm attaching photos of her not responding/accusing me of harassment/blocking my number since the last text was not delivered). You can read my texts and see I was kind and respectful and simply asking a question for her to react like this.. I know she is recruiting people to write positive reviews and I do not doubt they have had good experiences. But I did not and was treated terribly for no reason and do not think my review should be discredited. If she treated me like this it's likely she could treat someone else this way as well.

I developed a large lump on my top lip after the 2nd half syringe, and it felt like the filler was in my inner mucosa of my lip and placed too deep. When discussing what to do about this, she told me she was trying out a new type of filler and two patients out of four developed the same issue. She violated my right to informed consent since she failed to disclose this. I was never informed this was a trial product. Failing to disclose that a product is new or experimental violates informed consent. I lost trust in her abilities so I sought a second opinion by an expert injector who also teaches injecting classes. She confirmed the filler was placed too deep and done incorrectly. Instead of ghosting Demi, I felt like she deserved to know, hoping it would serve as constructive feedback. But she was very aggressive and unprofessional on the phone and blamed it on my anatomy. She berated me for not giving her another chance to fix the issue. There were other red flags: * I expressed desire for treatment for my undereye area. Initially, she said she could laser right up to the lash line but later, she said she couldn't after I was already there for the treatment. * I overheard her tell a friend shadowing my laser peel how important hydration was before a laser treatment, but she never told me. I also received no written pre- or post-treatment instructions, except one time after I explicitly asked for it. * She spoke negatively about a former client during my consultation, which felt unprofessional. * She gave inconsistent stories about going to a training course for the Russian lip filler technique, then later saying she would have to travel to London or Italy to learn it. Then on the phone she said she was supposed to go to the training course (taught by the nurse who fixed my lips), but canceled d/t to our appt. After my request, she did refund the 2nd half syringe. The refund did not go through. I asked about it twice after her not getting back to me when she said she would and she assured me it was all good on her end. So, I had to file a claim with my bank. It was only then that her mother called me after just a few minutes of being informed of the claim to say she looked into it further and saw that the refund did not go through. I had just won a daxxify treatment that Demi no longer would let me receive from another nurse in her spa. While I understand that filler can occasionally produce unpredictable results, how a provider responds makes all the difference. I did not feel supported or treated with the professionalism I expect from a medical aesthetics provider. I share this review not out of malice, but to help others make informed choices about their care.
