They have a decent wine ( We…read morebought A Bottle of the Seyval Blanc) and sat out on their veranda and enjoyed the view, the breeze and the company of the folk around us. it is quite a drive and I think the wine was better than another winery near by ( I use the term near by loosely, It is rural Kansas). Is it the best I have ever had nope but you can see the potential as they continue to improve. The service was on point, they have some great local art and goods that are pretty amazing. So if you get a chance to drive by and sit a relax, it maybe too hot outside but they have some very comfortable indoor seating. Good times with decent wine.

This winery is a little off the beaten path, but I noticed a tiny roadside sign when I was visiting…read morethe famous Grinter Farm sunflower fields and General Store, and followed it to this charming place with delicious wines and a beautiful view over their pond surrounding countryside. For a party of 4 or fewer, a tasting of 5 wines was free, but their Seyval Blanc, a semi sweet white, was calling my credit card! All 5 I tasted were quite good. I especially liked being able to buy my bottle of chilled wine, have them open it and pour a glass so I could sit on the patio to enjoy it, then take it back in for them to use their Medieval-looking industrial strength wine bottle sealer on it so I could take the remainder home. Their tasting room is very comfortable and attractive, and the famous Kansas artwork that graces some of their bottle labels hangs on the walls, along with the history and story of the art.
