So, after working up a good appetite at the gym this Saturday morning, I met up with my mom and we headed to Freeport. Let me just tell you, this place is a gem and worth a road trip if you don't live in the area. People who visit the area should put this place on their to do list, and if you live locally you will want to visit often. When we arrived in downtown Freeport the Lucy Goose was easy to find and free street parking is plentiful! There are patio tables out front that sets the stage for the flair of the store and restaurant. When we walked in, we were greeted by the owners who are still hard at work making this store all it can be and more. The store is a nice blend of old and new, with clothes, jewelry, glassware, linens, furniture. There are items you will want for yourself and wonderful gift opportunities as well. At the back of this space you will find ROC's, where delicious treats await!!! At this time they are serving soups, salads, sandwiches and desserts. They do have lite, continental breakfast options as well. This venue is so new that the kitchen is still being built. Once finished there are plans for a full menu and dinner hours. I look forward to watching this place blossom! You have my business
