The pork chop and pulled pork of the trio were to die for. The other meats were good but not as great. Of the sides, the creamed corn, mac and cheese, and broccoli casserole were the most worth it. The cobbler was delicious we just wished we had some vanilla ice cream in the fridge. Overall we will definitely order from here again and try other things off the menu!

He was taking care of the bar and also checking on customers in the dining area. He did a great job taking care of me. The beer was ice cold. They have a great selection of craft beer on tap and the digital beer menu makes it very easy to choose what you want. I didn't have time to eat, so can't comment on the food. If it is anything like the other Apollo locations, you can't go wrong with the pizza or wings.

Their regular crust pizza is fluffy and had just enough chew. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the cauliflower wings (tossed in sweet chili sauce) to start--they were crisp and coated thoroughly. We also had the Rachel pizza, which boasts chicken, bacon, cilantro, pineapple, and bbq sauce. We were very pleased with our choices and would recommend both!

I tried a…read morecouple of their individual slices, the seasonal meat pizza with corn, poblano, country ham, and blueberry relish, plus a classic pepperoni slice, and their breadstick. Every single bite was incredible. I love that they use a sourdough dough. The crust was so flavorful and perfectly chewy with an amazing crispy bottom. The breadstick was absolutely to die for, especially with the garlic butter. This is hands down the best Detroit style pizza I've had. You can tell how much creativity and care goes into everything they make. The owner is incredibly talented, and this place deserves so much more recognition. They also have a cozy indoor and outdoor seating area and a few free parking spots on the side, which makes visiting even easier. If you love pizza, you need to give Rise Up Pizza a try!

They didn't have a big variety on their menu but they only had 1 person working. I went with the pepperoni slice with a breadstick. I was surprised how cheap it was. My total only came out to be $6.00. The food was goo. The crust was thick and there were a lot of pepperonis on it. It was disappointed in the lack of cheese on the pizza. It was practically nonexistent. There was some sprinkled parmesan and that's about it. Luckily there were a lot of seasonings on the pizza so it wasn't a deal breaker. Overall my friend and I enjoyed the food and will be happy to try Rise Up again

Okay, I have to admit I am a bit of a pizza snob. I curl my nose up at Papa John's, Pizza Hut,…read moreDominoes, and all the "lesser" chains. Well, pretty much all the chains, except for Jet. I can't say they are the absolute best pizza I have ever eaten. I've been around the pizza world a bit. In Louisville, you've got hot competition like Imperazelli's and DiOrio's, and even in Lexington, Mad Mushroom is no slouch, especially with their deliciously cheesy pizzas. However, Jet holds it's own and stands above the chains. Far above, imo. Thick crust is tasty, and has the crunchy corners that make it delicious. It's fairly consistent, too. I've eaten it for years. The only time it falls down a little is when they rarely, but occasionally, overcook it. Even then, it's still good. Add a little red pepper, and it's golden for me. It's not cheap for a chain, but these days, none of them really are cheap. Even going to Sonic costs over $10 for a combo burger meal. So I still wouldn't call Jet's expensive. I do think when you're eating in, they could probably walk it to you table rather than expect you to sit down, then get back up and get the pizza. Table service is pretty iffy here. Sometimes you get it, often not, just depending on the person serving you and their temperament. But I have no major gripes. If you want solid Detroit-style pizza in Lexington, this is it for my tastes.

We stopped in after the UK football game on Saturday and placed an order to go…read more We ordered a Thin Crust All Meaty with Banana Peppers, Mild Buffalo Jet's Wings, 2 orders of Honey BBQ Boneless Chicken and sides of Ranch. The place is super small and even though they have 2 tables and 4 booths, I wouldn't eat in there. The place was miserably hot and I felt bad for the 5-6 staff members working in there on Saturday. The service was slow and our order was wrong. We got charged for ranch and didn't get any and they completely missed 1 of our orders of the Honey BBQ Boneless Chicken. We didn't get charged for the missed item. Once we got home with the food, it was good, just a bad experience at the restaurant. The food is overpriced for the quality.
