We ordered a pizza here while we were staying at Chesnut Lake Campground in Port Republic, N.J. I don't understand why they have only 2.9 stars... The pizza was very good and the person that took our order was very friendly and completely professional on the phone... She explained that there was an upcharge if we used a credit card, so we used cash... The driver was friendly and called us as he was approaching the main gate... Would I try them again? their personal Pizza and standard Pizza are excellent. concerning their Pizza it's not too saucy or sweet, and the Texas Burger is awesome with real cripsy bacon! and I've also had their chicken parmesan which is an insane amount of food for the price. I absolutely hate to trash a place in a review but i fell without question this order has to be written about. $65 order large pizza , large Stromboli, sampler appetizer. We asked for the pizza to be a little well done and for sweet peppers in the Stromboli. First thing we noticed is that everything was well done except for the pizza. I tried one mozzarella stick from the sampler platter and it had such a wierd taste I threw it out. It tasted like cleaning fluid. Everything in the sampler was way overdone so we trashed it. The Stromboli was burnt on the bottom had no sweet peppers and tasted horrible. Second item trashed. Now the pizza , the only thing I asked for well done. This was an undercooked Doughy and flour mess. It was without a doubt the worse Pizza I've ever had in my life . I dont know what happened here. This place used to have great food and the owners had a few restaurants all equally good. $65 straight from the door to the trash. Will never order from this place again and honestly some one should check out why the mozzarella sticks tasted like cleaning fluid. Do yourself a favor. There ate pleanty of really good pizza places around this area , avoid this place at all cost. So help me if I start getting sick later . That's an honest fear after this meal... read more

Giovanni's is a lovely corner pizza shop. As an Italian, the emphasis on authenticity is slim to none nowadays. Giovanni's kills it every time. Their shop is small, they have a larger dining room and a bar next door. The waitstaff and cashiers are always friendly. One of the women who runs the takeout counter window was kind enough to speak with my Boyfriend and I for over 45 minutes. Extremely genuine and smile from ear to ear. The food is out of the park every time. They are open late as well, and luckily about 2 blocks from our home. Great bite, great people and great pizza. read more

Local Pizzeria, Liquor store and Bar. One stop shopping! The absolute best Cheese Steak and Pizza in the area. The menu has many choices including a chicken chaser salad that is fabulous! It's huge! They offer dinners, traditional Italian food, and an array of appetizers. With the bar available for cold brews, and martini's it really is a great little place. It's family owned and operated and the prices are reasonable. It's a much better choice than any corporate location. Definitely worth the trip! read more

I've been going here since I was a kid because it's right next to my neighborhood so I think a review is appropriate. Cheesesteaks are great and probably the best in the area, especially the special blackened chicken cheesesteak. Pizzas are good but don't get anything complex save that for dominos.. it can get messy. Burgers are good and empanadas are delicious when they have them. You can witness the dough being tossed in the air and a display of pizzas in their case by the slice. On to the product: the roll of the cheese steak was the real thing crusty and chewy. Meat tasty w American cheese and fried onions. The only downside was the amount of meat a little skimpy. Pizza old school salty mozzarella , nice sauce and cooked to my order. I got two cheese steaks one with fried onions one without. I asked for lettus and tomato on side. They put everything on the sandwich. They told me I could go back and get new ones. I drive by on my way home from work. I live 35 min away. I didn't open them until I was home a couple hours relaxing after work. At midnight to drive back for new sandwhiches. REALLY! They said or keep them till tomorrow and they'll make new ones. So now I don't have dinner tonight because I don't want to waste over a hour to go back. I have work in the AM. I spoke to the same person on the phone that I ordered from, he acted confused and he said they must have "lost" my order. After going back and fourth he said he will send it out in a hour, the address for delivery WAS 3 MINUTES AWAY. When the delivery guy arrived he said, "next time can you not stick me on my tip".
