I was reluctant to rent from this business after reading all the reviews. I had used them several years ago in their prior location but hadn't contracted them since they moved to the Valley location. I decided to drive there and walk in to reserve tables for my son's graduation party in June. I did speak to the male owner in both in English and then Spanish and he was very polite and took down my order, drop off and pick up time and handed me a receipt after I paid. He delivered everything on time and picked up the next day as we agreed. It was so affordable and inexpensive. I would highly recommend because I didn't have one issue in my experience. read more

Pretty disappointed that the person who answered for this business didn't speak English. I asked if anyone that worked there could speak it, and the man said no. You would think to expand business they could have someone be bilingual at least. read more

Go to party rental. I usually rent tables, chairs, tents and jumpers. They setup and take down the next day. I highly recommend. read more

They have excellent service. I have rented tables & chairs withe Giovanna's for years.

The guy answering the phone didn't speak English and could not understand me, so he hung up on me. Great service

Try this local party supply place. They are very flexible and provide great customer service! I've used them since my kids had their 1st birthdays and they are teens now. All of their rentals are clean and they have great pricing. They have also helped me out with last minute balloon bouquets. I would highly recommend them for your next party. read more

They were so awesome. On time and prompt which was super cool and they even gave us a little more time with the water slide which was nice. Great prices most affordable I was able to find, delivered, can't say enough I want to go with them again next time I need to rent party supplies. Water slide was top notch, clean and the children had a blast. Thank you! read more

A small, family-run local business. It was fun bringing my kids here for drinks and snacks. They have candy and a bunch of balloons, sticks for pinatas, and table cloths to choose from. I can't speak Spanish, or Blanca didn't remember, but I asked on a weekday in person for a #6 shaped, giant balloon. She said to come back on Sunday, no problem. I came back on a Sunday, and it wasn't there, she didn't even recognize me, and then I felt blah. At least a dozen balloons with helium was only $10, cheaper than Party City. read more

Unless you speak Spanish this is not a place for you. The literally tell you that over the phone. " no hablo ingles" click. I've got hung up on three times even when I tried to speak my broken Spanish to them. read more

I called VERY LAST MINUTE and was able to get what I needed. So accommodating, I've been using them for over 15 years. Never lets me down.

I reserved tables for an important event and i was stood up. they did not show up with the tables or got a courtesy call that they would not be showing up. not reliable. read more

I was terrified to rent from Giovanna's after reading their Yelp reviews but the entire rental process couldn't have gone any more perfect from start to finish! Let me start off my saying that my friend recommend Giovanna's after she used them for her daughter's birthday party. She had warned me that they didn't speak English so she offered to call them to get me pricing/ask questions. When it came time to actually place my order & pay the deposit, my friend wasn't available to come along so I was afraid that things would start to go downhill based on what others said on Yelp. We walked into the store with my friend on the phone, ready to translate... My husband: "Hola! We have our friend on the phone to translate..." *Hands shop owner his cell phone* Store owner: *Looks puzzled* "Ummm... I speak English." HOW EMBARRASSING. So just to put it out there, the shop owner's adult daughter is often there and she speaks English fluently. If you're having a language issue working with the dad/mom (that also runs the shop), maybe try calling/visiting again when the daughter is around or find a friend who speaks Spanish to help! I chose to rent from Giovanna's because their pricing was SO much cheaper than everyone else in town. I probably got quotes from 10 different places and the next best quote that I received was exactly double what I paid at Giovanna's. Their rentals are decent quality; not anything special but in good cosmetic and working condition. This place is cash only and pick up orders require a $100 deposit, which is refunded when you return the rentals. There is plenty of street parking nearby. read more

Never go to this place. This is one of the most laziest people you will ever come across. They refuse to help anyone that does not live in a house. The man out refused even after we stated we do not live in a close community. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! read more

Great local party rental place for your parties! They are nice, reliable, and have great prices! Been renting from them for 3 yrs now. They have helped us with school events and my daughters parties, Christmas, summer etc events. They are always on time and always pick up the equipment on time. Their a husband and wife team and they're very friendly. I would recommend them. read more

Good prices but when it came down to picking up the equipment they kept bugging to pick it up early.. showed up at the party twice and I had to tell them I wasn't ready. The owner had told me I can just call to get the rentals picked up whenever I was ready and the party was over but instead her crew kept showing up at the party early and trying to take their equipment back. They actually started taking the canopy apart when guests were still there. Wouldn't go back to them. read more

Negative stars. They refuse to deal with anyone that doesn't speak Spanish. I called to rent tables, chairs and table cloths. The guy who answered the phone didn't speak English. I asked if anyone else there speaks English and he said "NO"! I asked if there is anyone who could help me because I would think you'd want my business. He then hung up on me. What a jerk! read more

I wish I could give them negative stars... these people are terrible. I ordered chairs and tables and the old man didnt deliver them. I called over an hour after it was supposed to be delivered and he said he came and then left, I told him were. Then he said its to hard to drive in my neighborhood so he turned around and went home. Terrible. Terrible. Bad service. Dont come through. We've order from them before and they're brought tables and chairs to us. So he claimed I was lying to him. I'll never go back there again. I hope they go out of business. I dont even know how they stay in business. Gracias por nada señor!! read more

Guy was a total jerk, would not rent me chairs or tables and didn't give me a reason why.

I needed to rent some chairs last minute for an event, I found this location really close to home. I called and the owner Giovanna told me just to show up and pick up the chairs, I showed up and she told me I had to leave a $50 deposit when the total price I was going to pay was only $9, but because I was picking them up and not getting them delivered they needed to hold a security deposit. First of all, she did not explain to me over the phone that I could of had them delivered (I was speaking Spanish to her) regardless I gave her the $50 and she told me that she would return them to me when I dropped the chairs off. When I returned the chairs, she only returned $41 dollars to me because of the "extra day fee" mind you, she did not tell me of an extra fee for keeping the chairs an extra night even though she knew I was keeping the chairs for two nights and not one time did she mention charging an extra day for the chairs. If I would have known I would have gone else where, this owner just seems to change the policy on her customers on daily and withhold information. I should have gotten a discount because I picked up the chairs. The issue with this location wasn't so much about the money, but just about the lack of information she decided to share. Never coming back here again, even if it's so close to home. read more

This is my favorite spot to rent from. They are always on time pick up the stuff till the next day. And even accommodate on short notice. The table covers are always clean and not all wrinkled like most places. I have been coming to this small family owned business for many years and will continue to do so. read more

Worse experience ever!!!! I cant even explain how pissed i was dealing with them. I calles up thursday morning to make a reservation for saturday, i spoke with a spanish girl. She didnt understand english so i had to ask my spanish co-worker to explain it for her-she was on loud speaker. Saturday morning, feeling all calm i called them up to let them know that im picking up the tables already. Guess what? They told me there was no reservation for me cause i didnt give any deposit. First of all, nobody told me that i should put down a deposit cause if that was the case i wouldnt hesitate to give them the money. So i still remained calm and told them how nobody informed me that, so told them i can come now and give you the deposit and payment. But then they were not willing to help me at all and just said they cant do anything about it and one girl even told me if i was done cause i she needs to go back to work--in a sarcastic way. Now its gonna be a big problem for me looking for another party supply rental place. I feel so disgusted with their customer service!!! Please dont trust these people!!!! read more

Needed 20 chairs for a small party and the price seemed pretty fair. Issue came up when I said I would pick up and drop off myself to save on the delivery fee and they asked for a $100 deposit if I pick up but no deposit if they deliver. I asked why the deposit and they said they were afraid I would damage or steal their chairs. Request for deposit seemed arbitrary since the chairs can easily get damaged or stolen even if they deliver them. The man basically told me to take it or go somewhere else, sat down and started watching tv. I don't write many reviews since I know these things can really hurt businesses but this guy was out of line. read more
