My co-worker ordered the Balkan burger. A short while later, our food was ready. My kimchi fries, although an interesting combination, were very tasty. I ate every one of them! The kimchi had a good, spicy flavor to it. This dish alone could have been my lunch. The two tacos were also delicious. I really like this food truck and I will be back. Co-worker gave me a chunk of his burger, which I thought was delicious. He said he really liked it. Good stuff.

They had a wide range of menu items from perogies to burgers to hotdog to tacos. I ended up getting the pulled pork sandwich which was $9. The bun on the sandwich was very good. It was thick bread and very fresh. The pork itself was also delicious. They also had "touch sauce" that was similar to the sauce at a sushi restaurant, almost like a spicy mayo. I don't know how to explain it but it was so so good. My friends were literally just eating the sauce because it was so good. Overall, this meal did not blow me away but for a food truck meal, it was good.

First you have to go online phone or computer to place order. Done in about 20 mins. We did it on the phone and it was pretty easy they text when ready. In the world of Covid-19 it's pretty hands off. We ordered 4 things. Cheddar bomb burger, philly cheese steak, tots, and onion rings. Cheddar bomb burger was good. Meat flavorful and lots of oozy cheddar. I would get that again. Philly cheese steak was just meh. Came on a burger bun, and I could not taste the onions and the mushrooms were almost non existent. Meat was ok. Next came the tots. Nice and crunchy and good. Then the onion rings. Not crispy at all. Soggy, and kinda wet. Might have been good hot and maybe fresh out of fryer. About 15 mins after not so much. Willing to give these guys a bit of a break cuz maybe it's an off night. So I would try again. Prices are pretty good. Portion is just okay. Tots ok and onion rings kinda skimpy. Burger decent size. No need for parking and wait staff. We just take it home.

Their menu is compromised of a collection of sandwiches. I ordered the A1 ribeye for $10 that had onions, tomatoes, beef and A1 sauce in a hoagie bun. Nothing great, nothing bad. Middle of the road sandwich that was not worth the $10 price tag. What really felt lacking was the absence of fresh baked bread vessel. The hoagie roll was weak and brought down the otherwise tasty beef. As far as superheroes, this truck is no Gal Gadot.

I went to the University Heights store which is near my house. Located in a small plaza near to Cedar Center is a clean store, the decor is bright and commercial, a large service counter is on one side with a utilitarian dining area on the other side; nice looking but not the kind of place to hang out for extended periods. A big video menu board lists plenty of food, but does not show the pizza menu. Service was good, the counter man guided me through redeeming the offer and went through the pizza toppings. I ordered a medium mushroom pizza. After about 10 minutes the pizza was ready and I have to say it looked great, the pizza was fully cooked and the zig zag crust is nice looking. Unfortunately when I got the pizza home and started eating it I was disappointed as the pizza just didn't taste that good. The crust was fine, cooked nicely and with a decent taste, although a little bland. The cheese and mushrooms were there, with almost no taste. The real problem seemed to be the tomato sauce; it was very uneven with some parts very saucy and other parts with almost no sauce at all. The sauce itself was a bit bitter, with no sweetness at all, and the flavor profile was very flat, no real tomato or spice flavors. The overall pizza just was not what I want from a pizza. I have to say that I was looking forward to having a Rascal House pizza, but it was not very good. With plenty of other good pizza options available paying a premium price for a mediocre pizza is just not worth it to me. Of course how a pizza tastes will depend on the individual so your experience may be different.

The Fire is for the Pizza and the Ice is for the Gelato that they will soon be selling. Scott hauls the hardwood for the oven in his pickup truck. The oven gets really hot. I have enjoyed their pizza a half dozen times and it is all good - the flash cooked (3 minutes?), high heat wood oven makes the dough crispy and delicious. My favorite is the Prosciutto and Arugula Pizza which I usually get. I have ordered the Pepperoni and the White pizza also and they are also very good. Order from the ladies at the side table, they make the pizzas, and Scott handles cooking. In the summer, the poor guy has wear an ice/freeze pack around his neck to stay cool. The pizza is so good I have wondered what it would take to put a Wood Burning pizza oven in my yard. But then I am reminded that there needs to be a master pizza maker to get the most out of the oven. I think I will just continue to go to Scott's. :)
