Our server Jose was awesome! Very attentive and helpful. Pizza was the best we've ever had, drinks and appetizers were delicious.

I feel SO bad that I forgot to take any photos!! I will say straight up - I walked in expecting to be disappointed and let down. My friend (from California) had been here last year and loved it but I am from the midwest and have had ACTUAL Chicago deep dish many times. Not many places west of Chicago can compare... The restaurant is bigger than it looks from the outside, the view from there is entertaining enough to keep you engaged while you wait for your pie. The location is absofuckinlutely perfect! so, anyway... I went with my friend this past Thursday. We ordered a 10" 'build your own' with seasoned ground beef X3. (we wanted the ALL BEEF meatballs but we were informed that they are no longer available - boo hiss! It's whatever, we were not deterred. We had a wonderful server who helped us decide how much pizza we needed and also how much beef it would take to fill 'er up! She was funny and friendly and I appreciated her expertise since it was my first time there. We both knew that a slice per person would be filling but we both wanted leftovers to enjoy later and an extra slice to take home - we had questions enough to be annoying and our server never lost patience with us or showed any shadow of annoyance. I LOVED the food puns on the staff t-shirts. The only letdown was the drinks... SERIOUSLY, just have a cocktail or something! My friend got lemonade and I got iced tea. Both tasted old and watered down. Kind stale and musty. Neither of us drank more than 1/4 of our drink! When we were offered refills we told the server how disappointing the drinks were and explained how weird they tasted. She didn't seem to understand the issue AT ALL but she happily brought us water to drink and that tasted fine. The pizza made up for the lackluster beverages. We had an excellent meal followed by a delicious reheat the next day followed by 2 frozen sliced to travel to our respective homes w/ us. I am home now and lemme tell ya the thawed and reheated slice I brought with was just as good as the first slice right outta the fresh pie!! I have no regrets. I will be be back whenever I'm in town but I won't drive there so I can have a beer or cocktail or whatever and that's okay by me. Thanks for bringing Chicago to Vegas babies!! Tried Giordano's for a quick pickup order, and it was pretty disappointing. The to-go wait time was over an hour, which already set the tone. We didn't have time to wait over an hour for a pizza so the other option was to take the already "made pizzas" The Chicago-style deep dish tasted like it was definitely not fresh. An employee said it was just made, but when I opened the box, it was burnt, the cheese was already cold, and one of the pizzas had maybe 2 pepperonis on it. Flavor tasted as it was under the headlamp for sure and crust was not flaky. For $35 for two small pizzas, it just didn't feel worth it. Maybe the dine-in experience is better, but based on this visit, I wouldn't recommend the walk-up option. read more

Absolutely flawless service from Johnette. She made it one of the best dining experiences I've had in a very long time. Attentive without hovering, super knowledgeable about the menu, and had great timing on everything! My drinks stayed full, food came out hot and paced perfectly. What stood out most was the personal touch because her jokes were funny. She checked in at just the right moments, and handled a special request for our table like it was no big deal. You can tell she actually enjoys the job, and it shows. The food was excellent, but Johnette elevated the whole night. We'll be back and asking for her specifically. Giordano's is a famous deep dish pizza spot in Chicago that has expanded nationwide. I tried this location on The Strip and arrived around 5 PM to no wait. It started getting busy around 6 PM. We ordered a small deep dish ($30) and a spaghetti and meatballs ($22). FYI -- the wait for deep dish here is about 60 min. We were told our small pizza would take 45-60 min but it really took 60 min during a non-peak time, so keep that in mind. The deep dish pizza was just ok... my main complaint was it was way too cheesy. Excessively cheesy. So much so that we had to scrap some of the excess cheese off. The pizza was 90% cheese and 10% sauce. I've had much better deep dish pizza elsewhere. I would say it does not live up to the hype, especially when you factor in the higher-end price and long wait time. Service was nice but I won't be back. read more

So on a recent trip to Vegas we arrived Saturday around noon and UFC was going to start in a few hours so we needed to find a spot to eat that would last us thru the event-so we decided to go have lunch at Giordanos located at the outdoor food court in front of the Horseshoe casino. Giordanos is pretty awesome as they specialize in Chicago-Style pizza and I have had the pleasure of eating at their location at the famous Navy Pier in Chicago along with this location in Vegas-so I knew I was in for a really good meal. We got seated right away and immediately ordered a pitcher of Michelob Ultra ($25.75) for my brother and I to share and looking at the menu I knew we had to go with their famous deep dish-so we ordered the Large Meat and More Deep Dish($49.25) -which features pepperoni,salami,sausage,& bacon. The pizza is pretty pricey but it is a pretty heavy meal and it was feeding 4 people and it's Vegas-things tend to be expensive out here.The other thing is these Chicago style deep dish pizza take about 45 minutes to an hour to make-which is why that one pitcher of Michelob Ultra turned into 2 pitchers of Michelob Ultra. Once the pizza did arrive it was pretty epic-it had a cheese pull to die for- it was so over the top cheesy and super yummy-but so very heavy-most of my party tapped out after 2 slices-I did push forward for that 3rd slice but I've been accused of maybe being a glutton sometimes when great pizza is involved. In closing-I would for sure recommend this pizza spot when in Vegas as I have been here multiple times and walked away every time a very happy customer-and just a heads up-this place knew the assignment and completed it-this meal kept me full till way after the UFC event was over & didn't really eat again till almost 12am that day-pretty solid if you ask me. We tried coming here for dinner but there was like a 4 hour wait. So we decided to make reservations and come back for lunch. Even at lunch time it was busy so thank goodness we made reservations. The restaurant is in an upper level but looked like they have a patio on the lower level. We were seated by the window and our server Axel mentioned it was about 40 minute wait if we wanted pizza (Deep Dish was 1h). So we quickly looked at the menu and ordered a medium meat & more meat Tavern style while we took our time on what else to order. Be prepared to wait for pizza as it is quite popular here. We wanted Deep Dish but it was too long of a wait. We did see other tables ordering it and doing the famous cheese pull. Definitely, will try that next time. For the rest of our order we got Fettucine Alfredo with side House Salad, and Calamari to share. I had a root beer that came in a souvenir Girodano's cup that I got to keep. My son's water also came in that cup so we asked for 2 more to take home. We thought that was cool to be able to take them home. Food was excellent and service was really good. Be prepared to wait for pizza but it's worth the wait. It's a popular place so reservations are recommended. We definitely will come back. read more

Awesome pizza! I don't normally eat Chicago deep dish but heard from my friends form Chicago that this is a pretty decent chain. The pizza doesn't disappoint. Very saucy, very cheesy and lots of toppings. I think we got the medium pizza to share (the one that said for 3-4 people) and it really is a lot of food. We couldn't finish it as 3 people. So definitely lean smaller unless you are really hungry. The indoor area on the upper floor is nice if you are looking for air conditioning. If you are okay with being outside I've also had a nice experience in their outdoor dining area too. read more

Great pizza, fun place! We were able to make a same-day reservation, which was much appreciated around the holidays. Took some in our party a little while to find the upstairs portion...signage could probably be improved since it's separated from the downstairs patio area but once everyone made it up to the indoor restaurant it was a great space! Love that they have happy hour deals at the bar till 6pm, for half-price drinks. Glad we got the sampler platter as an appetizer since the pizzas do take awhile to come out (which the server warned us about). The Meat & More Meat pizza was definitely the fan favorite at our table. The Super Veggie seemed to lack sauce and flavor but had a good amount of veggies. The Greek Salad was tasty and fresh. We love Giordanos deep dish pizza. When I went to Chicago I brought one from there for my husband. So we know pizzas a pretty good. We went to the to go order window and we order there. The lady that was taking the order was not very helpful or kind. She was some kind of rude. She was Hispanic too. I don't know what was her issue. So we order and we wanted to change the order and she made it impossible to change the order. She gave us some kind of excuses that I just said forget it then. I was not happy with her actitud. So we kept the order as it was at the beginning so she didn't have to bother changing it. Ok so we had the family all meat deep dish pizza and I got the super veggie deep dish pizza. The pizzas were excellent. They were flaky and delicious. With lots of meat and sauce. Mine had lots of veggies even broccoli. So very delicious. They also had lots of cheese. The one you bite and it keeps on pulling. So juicy. Oh my. I am mouth watering right now just to remember how good they were. Until next time. There was no ambiance because we order to go. They will call you to let you know that your pizza is ready. You can walk around the area and see all the different stores around while you wait. Great location along the strip in front of Horseshoe. Outdoor venue where there's a bar area and then also seated options. Sat at bar. Greeted quickly by friendly staff. Was told that the deep dish pizza they are well known for is about an hour wait and the regular pizza options about 45 minutes. Ordered meatball sub and grilled Italian sandwich since didn't want to wait that long. They were both great, but would highly recommend the meatball sub. You can upgrade fries to garlic - do this. Also had beers which were good. Overall a terrific place to grab some food that is tasty. Service great. Prices reasonable for the strip. Would have loved to have tried their pizza. read more

This was our second visit, and my wife's a big fan. Last time we went classic with the famous deep dish, but this round we switched it up and tried the thin crust meat lovers with a side Caesar--mostly because of the time we had. The thin crust came out crisp with no flop, piled high with meat and a generous layer of cheese. The tomato sauce hit the right balance without being overpowering. Solid choice all around. That said, if it's your first time here, you have to try the deep dish. It's what Giordano's is known for and really is the star of the show. But if you've been before, branching out into other parts of the menu isn't a bad move. The vibe is nice and casual. They've got an outdoor seating area with a bar, but it was way too hot for us this time. Service was great--our server kept things smooth, even if he was a little disappointed we didn't finish the whole pie (it was huge!). We'll be back, but next time it's deep dish for sure. read more

I wanted to eat upstairs to get out of the heat..but didn't end up eating upstairs..I walked in and was not greeted..but there was a lady standing there who was just staring at me and said nothing. I later realized she was the photographer. The least she could have done was smile. Her co worker came seconds later and she just pointed at her. Her coworker who took me to my table was friendly..but I later told her I'm just going to go downstairs to eat at bar instead. The lady downstairs immediately greeted me and took me to my table. Yeah, I might be in the heat but at least the service was way better compared to no smile lady upstairs. It was packed and I went around 8 pm to eat dinner. There was no wait time. For appetizers, I got the calamari and it was tasty. The calamari had lemon that was fried in it which was interesting and different. When I took a bite I thought the calamari was sour at first but it's lemon. Our waiter informed us that the deep dish pizza would take about 30 minutes because it's really popular. I got the Chicago style deep dish pizza, it had pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers & onions! This pizza was really good. There's lots of cheese so you get a nice cheese pull but you also get super full after eating 2 slices. It's really heavy. A big pizza is shareable for at least 5 people. We have been excited about this place and finally made it here with friends. You have to pre-order and wait for 45 minutes to be seated if you order deep dish and don't make the reservation. Pretty spacious inside, good vibes. The highlight of the night are the deep dish and the chicken wings. The Alfredo pasta (added chicken) is really unbearable, totally can skip it!! No flavor and the noodles (can't even define which one they use) are hard. Probably will not return as there are many other good pizza places in town (not on the strip) read more

Very good pizza. Excellent service. Definitely make a reservation because it gets busy. Drinks (soda) are expensive but you get to keep the cup, and supposedly it's free refills if you bring it back next time, so I'll be testing that soon. Deep dish pizza is one of those dishes that take a while to make and, unfortunately, I'm not that patient haha! But, on a Friday night, I decided to come here to eat and thankfully took a seat in air-conditioned space to rest my tired legs. The server helping us was nice, the table we got was cool, and the views were pretty awesome, too. We ordered the Chicago Classic ($28.95) and it was super decadent and cheesy! 10" is more than enough for 2 people. I didn't try the pastas, but I'd come back next time to try it. read more

I am going to start this review by letting everyone know that I grew up on Chicago tavern pizza. I have eaten at Giordano's too many times to count so I know exactly what the pizza should taste like. It was horrible! Overcooked and I couldn't even eat it and believe me I tried to live with it! I had the server bring the manager over and showed her how dry and overcooked it was. Giordano's in Las Vegas was actually crazy good, I wasn't even planning on going there but I'm glad I did. I got a margherita deep dish and a regular pizza and both of them were insane, like way better than I expected. The deep dish was super thick, cheesy, and had so much flavor, everything just hit right. The regular pizza was just as good, perfect crust, good sauce, and actually tasted fresh. After eating somewhere else before this and barely touching my food, this was a complete turnaround. I was actually enjoying every bite and finished everything no problem. Honestly it felt like going from something super mid to something high quality, like a Rolls Royce compared to something basic. The difference was obvious right away.
