Initially, he saved my teeth when I had problems from a former dentist. In 2012, I was diagnosed with Leukemia (AML) which caused my teeth to decay due to the effects of two bone marrow transplants resulting in Graph Versus Host disease (GVHD). He coordinated his care with an Oral Pathologist & Oral Surgeon to determine if I could undergo implants. I've had seven implants which took a year to complete. I now have a full set of teeth again. He and his staff are so caring and the quality of what he did could not be any better. His treatment plan was amazing with a computer picture detailing every process for a year. He also arranged a financial plan to ease that burden. I would not hesitate to recommend him. If you want the best care, you will get it from him and his staff!

When I arrived, I was a bit anxious, both Ms. Christine and Dr. Levine set me at ease and handled their business in the best and least painful way possible. I would also like to say that his overall energy and positivity was refreshing and was most appreciated. Dr. Levine was just fantastic. I needed four wisdom teeth removed in a hospital setting due to other complex and rare medical conditions I have. For the past year, I went to six other oral surgeons explaining the care I need and each of them couldn't accommodate my needs for a variety of reasons. After advocating for myself and my wisdom teeth getting progressively worse, I found Dr. Peter Protzel & his staff, who were able to do my surgery in the hospital setting I needed. His incredible staff worked with my insurance company to get the surgery approved through my health insurance. It's been a little over 1 week post op and I'm back to my regular self, no more swelling, and the recovery was much better than I expected. Dr. Protzel in my eyes, was the only oral surgeon that actually was able to have empathy for my complex situation and I'm thankful for him and his staff's dedication to my health. I went in to have the female short haired blond dentist check a crown that has been feeling sensitive when I bite down on it. I was seated in a room quickly but then had to wait forever until she finally came in the room. I told her what I was there for she and said I needed new X-rays, so they did that and I was sitting there waiting again. Finally she came back and just started filing down my crown to adjust it. I literally pushed their hands away because I was in pain and had tears rolling down my face. She then asked if I wanted her to numb it, which I thought would've been obvious from the beginning, I said yes so she gave me that and I had to wait 10 minutes for it to take effect. 10 minutes passed and I had to ask how much longer she would be. I was told she was coming. She didn't come for another 10 minutes. When she finally walked by and heard me asking again when she was coming. She stood at the door and said "what's the problem?" That set me off and I complained about her having me wait so long and just walking back and forth and I asked her why she didn't numb me in the first place knowing my tooth was hurting and she said that it wasn't obvious to her that she would have to. The dental assistant also chimed in to say that she wasn't just walking around. After they finished and I left I made sure to tell the front desk to make a note that I didn't want either one of them working on me again.
