At my first visit to the office I forgot my identification in the car and staff was honestly incredibly rude about me taking longer to filling out paperwork. The office dog was the only saving grace, but contacting the doctor or office while getting treatment was nearly impossible because they only had an answering machine, and call back protocol.

I also love the family practice atmosphere of the place. So hard to find these days. Unfortunately I must get past the front desk staff in order to see her. Usually it's the one male that answers the phone and he is rude and unhelpful. I have high deductible insurance because it's the best I can afford currently from my employer. He needs to be more sensitive to people's different insurance situations. You're a front desk worker at a medical practice in America, you should know how this works. Medicine is run by the insurance companies, not the doctors. I can't just pop in there for an appointment every time I have a question because it's $101 each time. I've had the flu and now a sinus infection for 9 days. My daughter was sick for the whole month prior to that. The costs add up. I know when I have a sinus infection. True, self diagnosis isn't ideal but in America, it is all I can afford. It's not like I'm asking for a controlled substance. Anyway, I'm nauseous and coughing and have a fever and I just wanted to talk to the doctor, dude. Not listen to your condescending bs about how she needs to know what she's treating. Come check out the neon yellow snot coming out of the left side of my face. I have a sinus infection. Update: I did receive the antibiotics and they were effective. I also received a nice and very professional email from the doctor that owns the practice. I really do like this practice so in spite of the Front Desk Experience, I'm going to update to 5 stars.

If this review were based solely on PA Kevin Lynch, I would give 5 stars. But I'm giving only 3…read morestars because what happened to a member of my minority women's group is unacceptable. After a car accident, she was in pain, but NP Eliezer Hernandez dismissed her, documented that she was neurologically intact, walking steadily, and ambulating briskly without difficulty. Ignoring someone's pain is dangerous. Dismissing pain without thorough diagnostic steps is a breach of medical diligence. Before drawing conclusions, a provider should ensure they've ruled out potential injury. That same day, another provider ordered an MRI, confirming a sprain. Pain tolerance is not something to guess at. While the practice has many positive reviews, this one instance is a serious red flag. When pain is dismissed without thorough testing, it calls into question the integrity of care. If PA Kevin isn't there, I will not return.

Well here I am 2 1/2 hrs later still in pain. He wrote me 2 prescriptions which my wife will pick up tomorrow. I'll give them 2 days to work and if they don't I'll go to Albany Med cause folks I can't take much more of this. There were " patients " there that looked absolutely fine and belonged at urgent care about as much as I belong in a porn movie. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they are running some kind of a racket out of there. Never going back.

I had already taken my 16 month old to urgent care for an ear infection. They were unsure and asked us to follow up with a pediatrician. Karen (her actual name) was rude and would not allow me to make him a new patient because we don't live here full time, and then asked which insurance I have (anthem blue cross blue shield - a strong insurance policy), and she immediately said they aren't taking new anthem patients. I've had a summer house here my whole life, and saw pediatricians as a child even though I didn't live here full time. What is happening with health care that you would deny a child care?
