It's right off of Main Street in oyster bay, such good businesses nearby and the parking sucks so bad. When you walk in, there's a bunch of employees feverishly making bread or whatever other delicious smelling carbs. Staff was very friendly and my sandwich was ready at the time promised. This sandwich is large. You can tell the bread and other ingredients are fresh and well made. I thought it was really delicious, although the whole wheat bread kind've threw me off, I still enjoyed it. I was only able to eat half, and my hubby enjoyed the other half. I drove by the other day and refrained from ordering ahead just in case parking was non-existent, and I couldn't find a spot but an definitely excited to try something new when I get lucky with a spot. Totally know parking is not the businesses fault, but if you come, have a passenger who can jump out and grab the food to go!

Initially I thought that the prices were steep for the cheeses, but after some thought - they are top tier cheese products and I would and did splurge for a good cheese. They have a gouda that is aged three years and it has a really nice flavor and texture. The lady in charge is very sweet and exact. She assisted whenever the new girl at the counter needed. They are also affiliated with a couple of restaurants in the area. 2 Spring and another one I can't remember that started with a G. Inside it was clean and crisp. Not windy, crisp, but if you go inside you will know what I mean. Outside they had one or two tables with chairs for those who want to nosh on the sidewalk and take in the summer sun. They also have sandwiches, canned olives, pickles, caviar, etc., biscotti, baguettes, croissants (chocolate and plain), blueberry muffins, yogurt, and more! Of the things I ordered: One star for the tiny cappuccino. I was thinking it would fit the cup, not just fit inside the cup given. I also asked for cinnamon, which it did not have. They asked me if I wanted one or two shots of espresso, which was nice. The biscotti was too sweet in my opinion. The blueberry muffins were really good and have the actual fruit inside. They don't have alternative milk. Happy shops!

The space is not large, but it is bright and organized so that each table feels secluded. I've dined here several times, once on a date night and once with a group of foodie friends. Both times were memorable. I highly recommend sampling one of their pizzas as an app. On one occasion, I enjoyed their Branzino, which came as two filets atop green beans, topped with a fresh lemon sauce. Their desserts are huge, so you can share them as well--try their deconstructed cannoli. Easily serves 2-3 people. Their homemade lasagna comes out steaming hot in its own crock, and their pistachio pasta is one to try as well. The menu has a lot of offerings, so every type of diner will find something to eat. Service is impeccable. We were attended to immediately, we were checked in on but not hovered over, and when I asked for suggestions, the offerings were spot on with my taste. Overall, this is a great pick for a date night or evening meeting up with friends. There isn't a bar to hang out at, as the space is minimal (at least I've never seen one), but it's a place to add to your list when in the area.

Starting off with the weakest part of this review, the service. There was no engagement during the entire course of the dinner from the chefs. Explanations about each dish was minimal and barely audible with the accents. It was like I was having dinner and the kitchen was invisible whereas seating is in a L shaped table that faces the kitchen, so you'd think there would be something. The food was OK. A few dishes were unique, but the majority did not have that wow factor. My favorites were the duck, dry-aged beef, and kanpachi. The A5 Wagyu was a bit dry on the edges and was not tender like other A5's. All in all, I thought this would be better considering being the most expensive restaurant on Long Island. If this was $150 before tax and tip, that would be a much fairer price for the food and experience but at $250 you're competing with some really high-quality restaurants.

It's like stepping back into a old time diner from the 50's. It's cozy and when I was there it was packed with people, seemed like a lot of locals. There is street parking in the front, but it can be challenging and tough. I recommend, though, I didn't know this until I used the restroom towards the back of the restaurant, that there is EASY PATRON PARKING SPACES IN THE REAR OF THIS RESTAURANT! My husband got a huge burger with grilled onions and I had hot water and lemon. I was worried that I'd have to eat something or be charged, because it says on the menu that during lunch and dinner there is a seven dollar minimum; when I asked they seemed OK with that. I wished I was hungry because they had so many wonderful things on the menu and so many delicious looking plates of food coming by our table. Next time I'm visiting family in the area. I will definitely be back.

Our Friday night treat has left my wallet empty , and we're so disappointed. Oh yeah, I'm still hungry. Do better.

He stops and points at a table in the back, gesturing for me to squeeze between two customers. May have been my favorite part of the meal We received the ice cream pie and not even a minute later, a server, who was different than our original server, put the check down. And not even 10 minutes later, he came to check if we had put down a credit card It was not even 10pm yet (mind you, they close at 11pm) I can understand if it was past closing and we were the only ones left but it wasn't even close and there were still other patrons. As we were wrapping up, you could feel them circling our table and staring us down. By the time we left, it wasn't even 10:30pm. Despite the good food, this left a sour taste in my mouth.
