First, the basics. We arrived at 10AM to a mostly empty upper parking area. You check in using the right lane. They will give you a form for use later. Then park in the lot on the right and walk into the main building to pay. One you've paid, back to the car and drive out to the entrance road. This time, just the left lane. Show your pass and pull around behind the building. There is 30 min parking by the building and longer parking in a lot to the side of the building. You can also drive down to a larger lot on the right, but it will also have vehicles from campers, so it may be full. There is camping, but we just went for the day. They also have scuba (including lessons). Tube and equipment rentals are on the back side of the building. There are a lot (7?) of entrance points to the river. Each has stairs down to the water. The water in the little coves is very clear and cold. The main river is not clear at all and is much warmer. Negatives. Very crowded. The river itself isn't bad, but the coves are packed. The camping areas were also very full. Camp sites appear to be first come, but I'm only assuming that because I didn't see markers. This is not a child friendly area by any measure. Alcohol, Marijuana, etc. Adults, not an issue. The employees came across like they didn't care to be there. Very much a "counting the seconds" type of vibe. Worth a short visit? Absolutely. Worth a second visit? Maybe. There are plenty of other springs. read more

I am not a fan! I loved this place. Given it's my first natural springs but the bar is now set high. This place attracts locals and we loved making friends with everyone. We went for a holiday winter week. A small crowd gathers here and creates fellowship and fun. Their entrance fee and camping fee was a bit steep as we paid $96 for 2 people for 2 nights. Still the place is well taken care of, they even gave us trash bags for our stuff. We always felt safe as they have rangers roam through all the time at all hours to keep the peace and rules in place. I love that we could snorkel, scuba, kayak, tube, etc. The springs are 70 degrees year round so it's cold but they do have wet suits you can rent. All rental fees were pretty reasonable, the tubes where $6 and the kayaks where $12. I love that they have a little cafe with the best burgers and all sorts of goodies, as well as a shop with drinks and camping essentials. Overall a great place to hang with friends or to bring the family. Just keep an eye on those kids, not a place to let them run wild. read more

The water is crystal clear at the entry points then gets darker as you float downstream. You can get a day pass or camp at night. I live in Atlanta, GA and met some friends in Branford to visit the infamous Ginnie Springs. I must say, I was quite impressed. I was expecting to have as much fun as I did. We checked in at the front desk and had the option to rent or purchase flotation devices. There was also air stations to blow up floaters. We then drove to find a spot to park where we grilled and found a table to eat at. They had several drop offs along the lake to enter the lake on. We connected our flotation devices and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Some of my friends kayak also which was easy to do with the drop offs. The lake was absolutely beautiful. The water was fairly clear for lake water. The also had a little area designed for hanging out outside the lake stream where you can easily access and leave. There's areas designated for diving and other activities. I wouldn't mind visiting this place again. read more

This one was of the coolest things I've ever done. Totally my vibe. I'm sure if I went during spring break, I'd hate it. The crowds of people, loud music and obnoxious people are everything that was missing that made it such a relaxing experience. We went back to back days and just relaxed and floated down the river. Left the phones in the car and truly got to disconnect and unwind. Such a beautiful, natural place to relax. Next time, for the full experience, I plan to camp at the many sites and float around all day without a care in the world. read more

Unbelievably rowdy in the worst way, Truly the antithesis of how a Florida spring should be kept. It seemed like you could just camp anywhere and there was no "at capacity" when money is involved. No staff around the grounds to make sure people are not littering such as how there was just a box of chicken on the floor and was most likely there for some time along side numerous of pieces of trash and filth. There is of course something to be said for the quality of the people who visit this place and their lack of respect for the beauty and health of this environment but in that same breath; those who choose to profit off of this piece of nature should be held to higher standards. If you consider yourself a naturalist with a love and respect for nature and wildlife then I can't recommend Ichetucknee state park enough. It is a beautiful place to swim and very scenic. But they let you bring in your own floats and this family brought in a float that could fit 10-20 people it was enormous and very dangerous to swim next to. They stood by the railing and didn't let anyone down the stairs. They were ruthless, drinking beer too. This was the same family that pulled up in several cars and they had adults in the trunk!!!! It's really terrible that these type of people ruin it for everyone. Their music was blaring and it was a horrible day to visit with these people there. Before going into Ginnie Springs I decided to read the reviews yelp had to offer. I was nervous because of how unhappy a majority were with the crowds, staff, and wait time. My group of eight was fortunate enough to go during the week for three days with no holiday. And honestly, we had a blast! The line to get in once we arrived didn't take too long at all and paying for everyone was a breeze. I didn't catch the first guy's name inside their shop, but he was sweet, friendly, and offered to separate the payments if necessary. One concern I truly had was the ability to get my service dog into the campsite. Thankfully, they honored my service animal. Finding the campsite we wanted wasn't too bad either. We found a great location with a garbage disposal near us and the bath house within a five minute walk and a water spout right in front of our site. We also did set up towards the end of the river by Twin Springs I believe. For the first day, we decided to take it easy and go down the river. There was an area where you can inflate the tubes at the halfway point of the river. From there, it was about another 15-30 minute walk to get to the beginning of the river. (It was more condensed with people the further up the river you go.) The springs were crowded but they were absolutely beautiful. Once we all tied our tubes together we went down the river and even jumped from a tree swing that they had. Most of the other camp goers were very sweet and very friendly. Everyone basically helped everyone out and were really all enjoying themselves. We visited their food shop once on the third day. I didn't catch the cashier's name but he was super friendly, and super accommodating. The food also tasted amazing and the prices were fair. The third day was where we finally rented the kayaks and paddle boards. The prices for three hours are amazing and you can't go wrong with it at all. When we purchased our rentals ALEX WITH THE GLASSES tended to us. ALEX WAS AMAZING. HE WAS FUNNY, PERSONABLE, AND KNOWLEDGEABLE!! I need the business owner or manager to see how AWESOME ALEX WAS! HE MADE THE PURCHASES FUN AND WENT OUT OF HIS WAY FOR US LOT. FIND ALEX IF YOU'RE EVER IN THE SHOP!! Getting the kayaks were a bit difficult because they were heavy but manageable. And there's a ramp you can slide the kayaks down with. And again people are so friendly they're willing to help you with anything. Going up river was fun and it's a great work out. Overall, I was happy with the three days we spent there. If you want something less condensed, try setting up camp at the end of the river. You'll end up there anyway when you're done with the lazy river. The staff/security wasn't overbearing at all. Yeah, it was loud given some groups and their music or their voices but everyone was overall there to have a great/fun time. So I didn't see an issue. I would come back again. SO MUCH FUN! Almost gave it 4 stars because of how busy it was but it was an overall amazing experience. The people who work there are helpful and lovely. When you enter the park you're immediately directed to go to the parking lot to the left but there are other lots close to the springs opening to the right. If the lines are long I would suggest dropping someone off to start the process while you look for parking or you will be in line for a while. Took us about 30-40 minutes after parking to get into the actual spring because of this. And it was HOTTT. Not sure why it was so busy but it was. Try to get there as early as possible to avoid crowds and have the river to yourself. There were 2 lines, one to pay for your tubes, kayaks etc and the other one to pick it up. 100% would suggest you splitting the responsibility of standing in line with someone else so once you are done paying you can hop into the pick up line and grab your tubes and go. Another suggestion. Is to bring your own tubes or kayaks that way you can avoid the line altogether. There is an air pump to fill them by the spring entrance. The spring is beautiful , the trees and water and everything around was great. The water was cold for a moment and then you get used to it and it warms up. The spring itself is about an hour long depending on how many times you stop along the way to swing off the rope swings to talk to new friends you meet. We got one double tube to hold the cooler and it was a great move! Don't forget to bring enough food, water and beer for the ride down the river. I highly suggest waterproof phone cases that tie onto something so they don't get lost in the river. It was so much fun and I can't wait to go back! read more

Checked this place out on a weekday after labor day and school had started in hopes of avoiding the crowds. The girl at the register was very confused that I was there alone. Tried to charge me for 2 people and then for 2 tubes. I already wasn't thrilled about going on vacation alone, thanks for making it more awkward. She also could not tell me when off-season pricing started. The lady at tube pickup was very nice, suggested the best places for parking, and gave me a cord to strap my tube to the car. I parked and then hit the tube trail to start a float down the river before it got warmer. The trail is well marked in some areas but when you get to Devil's Spring you have to go around the spring but the trail is not clear after that. The downside of going when it's not busy, there was no one to follow. I ended up just walking along as close to the river as I could through camping areas till I found the river entry stairs. Not long after I got in the water a couple arrived that were obviously under the influence of something and being very obnoxious along with their accompanying music. I hung onto a tree on the side of the river until they floated far enough away that I could continue a peaceful float. I would hope they were camping and were not allowed entry that morning in that condition. The float was mostly relaxing aside from everyone that was blasting music in the campsites and on passing kayaks. I did see one alligator but it was not interested in me as I floated by about 15' away. After tubing, I went snorkeling in Dogwood Spring for a while, very nice not many people there. After dogwood, I visited Ginnie Spring which seemed to be the main attraction with significantly more people. The spring and the area around it had a lot of trash in it, lots of cups, bottle caps, and vape pens all in and out of the water. Several groups of people smoking weed and every group with music had it loud enough so they could hear over the next group. One of the groups in the pavilions had the same few songs on repeat, one of which had a blaring car horn in a song that was loud enough that I thought it was real the first few times. The rules for the place state "no excessive noise at any time" but it's obvious no one cares to enforce that. I left the noise and wandered down to Devil's Spring. Less than 4 people were there when I arrived and it was in the shade with much cleaner water. It was just as relaxing as Dogwood spring but a little bigger. While I was there the scuba divers began showing up. Some of them were giving lessons which was ok for a little while but after a while, there were about 7 of them and they all stood on the stairs to the water or in the water in front of the stairs talking shop completely oblivious that other people were there wanting to get out of the water. Since my towel and shoes were on the bench at those stairs I had to use the others to get out before walking around to get my belongings that they had already set some of their stuff on top of. On my way back to my car to leave there was a pickup by Ginnie Springs doing donuts in the gravel slinging rocks all over other people's cars. An employee in a golf cart just sat there laughing, no attempt to stop him or remove him from the park. This place has the potential to be a really nice place. Before I came I read all the rules and thought they were really strict, but that also lead me to believe they would not tolerate people breaking the rules, but that was not the case. Unfortunately, all the inconsiderate people that don't care about the environment or other people really bring this place down. read more

After looking forward to spending some time here, we were disappointed and surprised that our ADA registered service animal would be the reason we were treated so poorly and treated with discriminatory requests to leave behind personal amd private information before allowed on site.. From the moment we arrived, it was evident they did not want any animals on site. Their No Pets signage was everywhere. Service animals are not pets, so we thought we would be ok. When we arrived, we let the gate person know we had a service dog and he immediately became insistent that we would not be able to be on site without registering him at the front desk, so we proceeded to do our due diligence and went to register him. When we got to the front desk, they required that we show our ID, which was acceptable.for us, but when they asked us to photo copy our ID and keep it in their records.for a year, the red flags went up. When we asked if we could have the copy of the ID back at the end our visit, they refused.and could not clearly tell us how they dispose of our information after a year. One person said theunshred it. Another person said they dospose of it. It was a great example of bad management practice and even worse treatment of people with service animals. They admitted they only asked for photo copies of IDs for people with service animals, so that was a huge red flag for us. This was clearly a violation of our privacy, and we decided to leave. We tried to show them.proofnof of their bad practice, but they were not interested. Overall, it was a truly bad experience with very clear intentions of not allowing anyone who has a service animal to be on site unless.they are willing to sacrifice their privacy at the hands of careless and ignorant people. We look forward to reporting them so they can learn that their practice is not acceptable and discriminatory. read more

I feel sorry for the staff, why? Because the park is trashed by idiots! Best thing for the springs would be the State take it over and patrol it with Rangers. The springs are beautiful, a must see if in the area, but don't go on weekends, we heard that it's crazy. We went on a Monday and it still got crazy. Trying to enjoy the beauty of the springs and then people show up with loud music, talking and drinking. They trash it and leave trash for the staff to clean up, that's why I feel sorry for the staff! My advice, get there early, mid week and see the springs before the idiots show up. And hopefully someday the State Parks can take it over and save them before it's to late. Because for $20.00 a person, you'd think it would be cleaner, which we did help a bit by pulling trash out of the water. Also we took our own paddle boards and launched at the boat ramp, paddled up stream to each spring. Then enjoyed floating back down the river to where we got in, which was quieter too! read more

My boyfriend had really wanted to check out ginnie springs and it had been on my list as well so we decided it was finally time to go. We planned to go snorkeling and even came with our own wetsuits. They do have snorkeling gear, kayaks and tubes to rent. We went during the week, early in the day, and it wasn't too busy, but by the time we were leaving, it was getting packed. The water was ice cold. It says it's around 72 degrees but we were both shivering, even with our wetsuits. It was so cold, it was a little hard to breathe. We snorkeled in ginnie spring for a bit and it was beautiful. Not a lot of fish (which I was thankful for) and not a lot of people. Someone did come in on a kayak with a stereo that was superr loud so we wound up leaving and going to explore the other springs. There's one called the devils eye and there was a sign warning how dangerous it was to scuba dive in the cave there and that people have died. Scary! We were going to tube down the main area (it's about an hour from one end to the other) but we were so cold and tired we wound up leaving. It would probably be fun to camp there! read more

Stunning Views! Memorable visit! Super happy we traveled out of the way for the kayaking! Clean bathrooms! Great deals on Kayaks and other rentals. Wanting to come back to camp!!! Cons: Marijuana every where!! On the River, on the banks, camp sites, and by the shops! Lots of drinking which is typically fine but it lead to a lot of vulgar language and trash in the grass and volleyball court area. The maps need a better design. Kayaks need the option to rent with seats for some lower back support. Words to the wise - Saturdays may not be the best for young kids. Come early to avoid the Looooooooonnnnnnngggggg lines. Plenty of staff but none seemed motivated enough to speak up and direct the crowd nor move faster. They had out dates technology which also slowed the lines. Disappointed the shelves were poorly stocked and not enough gift shop options. The shirts and tanks were super soft if you love good shirts!! read more

Ok ok.. I give it 5 stars because it's gorgeous. I would give it 2 stars if I was being a crotchety old person. Why do I not give it 3 or 4 stars then you ask? Because if you're going here- you are going for one of two reasons: 1: TO GET THAT FAMOUS PICTURE or 2: To Party So, knowing these things ahead of time should give you fair warning. Yes, there is the most breathtaking clear blue water. However, what you see is what you get- the small pool where EVERYONE takes pics-- THAT'S IT! The rest of the float is like any other river. Now, I must say, if I was still into partying all night (and all day) this place would be soooo muchhhh coooler. But, I have to admit, I can't hang anymore. I appreciate all the effort that goes into the campsites and the energy it takes to party all week long, but I can't.. however if YOU are down for spring break style camping, THIS IS YOUR PLACE! We got there early and rented a tube, and paid for parking and paid for entry and paid for ... literally everything here costs money. But, I did get the picture I came for, and now I can say that "Yes, I've been to Ginnie Springs" (and all I got was this overpriced koozie)... if you just wanna enjoy a peaceful day at Ginnie, well, idk what to tell you, maybe, go in the rain in the winter? Because there were so many people there, the porta potties that they brought in were so disgusting, I would rather go in a hole at a carnival. We got lucky and found a camp site all the way at the end, where the tube entrance was. There are some camp sites off to themselves; however, most of them are very close together. We had to clean up our campsite when we got there from the prior occupants. From my understanding this is the only state park that allows alcohol so there were lots of partiers there.....that being said, we were off to ourselves and no one bothered us. It was beautiful! Lots of fish, some turtles, and snakes. Didn't see any gators. Along the lazy river, there are some trees to jump off and swing from. The water is refreshing and so clear! read more

One of the most beautiful places for a perfect getaway without living Florida. Camping, snorkeling, diving, kayaking, swimming, just a fun park to enjoy with the entire family. We were a group of 20 and everyone had a blast, the funniest part was going down the river on the tubes. The water on the river is 72 degrees all year around, is cold but nobody seems to care. Perfect spot for kids, adults, everyone is just happy to be here, away from the hustle and bustle of city. Camping was $24 a day per person, tubes $6 a day, kayaks and Paddleboards $12 for 3 hours, entrance only without camping is $14. Ginnie springs is a majestic place in the morning, I was lucky enough to see small waterspouts from the river blending in with nature and the sound of birds. At night there's loud music, people driving around and golf carts, it gets a little crazy., definitely not your place if you are looking for calm, peaceful camping site. But if you want to enjoy what nature has to offer and also meet new people and party a little definitely this is your place. This is my second time here, and I don't mind the 5 hours drive from Miami. We're making this trip a yearly adventure, can't wait to go back. read more

I came here as a 3 day vacation get away I've never seen such terrible staff and maintenance the body of waters are absolutely filthy and awful, I cannot stand the staff and the maintenance of this place I brought a speaker and put on music I am Hispanic so I put Spanish music on while me and my family set up our tents and after we sat down together enjoying some nice family time and a staff member passing by told us we had to lower our music because it was too loud and we understood and lowered it half of what it could full go and we left it at that the same staff member passed by 3-4 times and never said anything to us anymore later that night while I was trying to get some rest because I came from 5 hours away so it was a long drive and me and my family where trying to get some rest and we could not due to the fact that people around us where blasting their music and nobody told them to lower their music the next day we left the music at the same volume they were okay with and then around 11 am the same staff member came and told us our music was too loud even though the previous day they had to issue with it and we had lowered it the previous day which they where fine with because they passed by and had said nothing and they threatened to kick us out because it was too loud and I told them that it's not just us playing music and they would not listen to us and kept threatening us so I told the staff member that I would lower it and I cooperated and lowered it me and my family decided to take a walk around to go look at the springs and we heard extremely loudly American music that we saw staff drive by without saying anything but they have an issue with my Hispanic music when we came back a couple hours later we where surprised to find half of our food and drinks where taken and our tents where broken in to my clothes and medicine where taken I am a type one diabetic and need medicine that is very expensive and I found my suitcase thrown all over the floor and my diabetic supplies where gone my juices and snacks that I need for when I have a low blood sugar where gone our tent was a mess luckily I had a backup that I took with me on the walk we had to share the little food we had left with our big family and went hungry I have a pretty big family of 10 people because I treated my parents to coming with me and we all barley had any to eat later that night as we where sleeping we head numerous gun shots and people screaming and again extremely loud music near by and we could not sleep the trails and roads are full of trash the springs and ponds have plastic and trash in them I couldn't go swimming with my family due to how dirty it was the water was filthy and not clear I do not recommend coming here as we couldn't barley do anything due to how racist the staff is how much filth there is and we had to leave early the morning of my third stay due to fear of the gun shots we heard at night I will never be coming back here I have to rate this a 1/5 but if I could I would give it a 0 it does not even deserve a 1 that's how bad it is!!! read more

Tarzan was born here it feels like. Gushing pure clear cold water that is filtered through limestone. The canopy of palm trees, live oaks and cypress dripping with Spanish moss and the cool smells of the wild flowers and pollen floating accross the emerald river is so intoxicating. We arrived at 8:20am on a Saturday and had to wait in a car line for 20-30 minutes to park. The spring itself was absolutely beautiful BUT we went to go tubing and the river was black. We also had to walk our tubes to the place to put it and walk the tubes back to the car. There's no shuttle, which we were not aware of. Also, the tube run was so fast. We were done in maybe 30-45 minutes. You basically just tube by all of the camp sites and everyone was blasting music by 9am. There were also people with microphones and DJs so it had club vibes. It was a lot to take in and so crowded. We had fun- was an OK experience, but will 100% not be back. read more

Honestly, one of the BEST experiences I've had. One of Florida's gems. I'm in south Florida so down here we don't have a lot of outdoor options. First time up here (5 hours from Fort Lauderdale, 2 from Orlando). Basics: park is open from 8am to sundown. Entrance fee is $15/person, $6 for a single tube, $12 for a kayak. Had a blast. Easily spent about 5 hours here. It wasn't too crowded the weekend I went but I can imagine summer does tend to get crowded. You can bring your food/drinks in. If you have a floatee/your own tube, definitely bring! It'll save you from purchasing. Use the tube and just relax on the river with your drink. There are no lockers so keep everything in your car. Recommend bringing one of those plastic ziplocks for phone and keys if you're getting in the water. Water is super cold but you can easily get adjusted if it's hot outside. Also, NO CELL SERVICE. So it's easy to stay off the grid. read more

Although, the spring is also not even half a mile long tube so do not expect much in terms of floating down, it's also brown the whole time. El único detalle es que lamentablemente llegan personas si así se les puede decir muy mal educada e ignorante que piensan que están llegando a una discoteca a poner sus sonidos a todo lo que da, no dejan que la demás gente escuche su música normal, son familias que van a campar quien quiere escuchar ese ruido a todo y luego se quejan que el racismo que no quieren a los latinos. AN ALLIGATOR CAME RIGHT UP NEXT TO US IN OUR TUBE!!! My friend and I came here for the first time on a weekday in February and were stoked that there weren't big crowds at all! The staff were all very nice & accommodating! We walked to the top alcove to put our tubes in. It was very relaxing & a chill day as there weren't really more than like 10 people we could see all together. All of a sudden I hear a noise behind my friends tube and an alligator came up to breathe out of the water literally TWO FEET behind my friend and then went back down and slowlyyyyyy kept moving forward upstream while we were floating downstream. I have never ever been so scared in my life It was SO CLOSE! I used my arm as a paddle and pulled us to shore where we got out immediately. A dad & 2 kids were snorkeling right behind us and started yelling about the gator too & they got out. I knew it was a possibility that there could be gators in there but it didn't say anything on the website, so I wasn't really concerned. After I calmed down we went and stood in another alcove that was actually really pretty hung out there for about 30 mins. Overall-it was really pretty buttttt if you're scared of gators- they're definitely in there during the less busy season like now so be careful! read more

Amazingly beautiful. The water was cold for a few seconds. We got there when they opened and enjoyed Ginnie's water with absolutely no crowds. We floated around on our tubes and enjoyed the sounds of nature and the water. Beautiful and clear. HOWEVER, at about 10am, it's like the flood gates were open, social distancing went out the window. Literally, hundreds of people, there were so many people, there was a line of 30-50 people at each set of stairs that lead into the water. It was horrible. We were out of the water and watched the shit show from a distance. At one point I looked to see how many people were in the water and the tubes were bumper to bumper. So, if you can manage to get past the crowd of tubes to where the small area goes out to the open springs where it's deeper, etc. without getting Covid 19 from the hundreds you have to pass along the way, go for it. We left at 11am. Sad because we paid almost $20 for 2 good hours. read more

I really enjoyed visiting Ginnie Springs! I do have a few complaints...we brought food to cook on the grill, but unfortunately the grill was bent and was not able to be used forcing us having to drive out to get food instead of making the food that we had brought..Something else that I think should be changed is that there are only 4 showers in both the men's and the women's bathrooms. I waited for over 30 minutes waiting in line to shower..Overall, my family had a great experience and I would definitely go back, but those two things were just such an inconvenience and I hope when we go back these are fixed.. read more

Second time being here. First time was 3 years ago. At that time, it was fine, saw 30 people there max and it was clean. This time (went on Sunday, June 27, 2020) oh my gosh. Trash everywhere. Absolutely disgusting. Drunk adults being careless. Social distancing..? Not a thing. I think they let in every single car. I went to Universal two weeks ago and saw less people. I haven't seen that many people since before corona and I feel disgusting. Didn't see one employee wearing a mask. Online, it showed it was $14 A PERSON to get in for a day pass. The first sign pulling up showed $20 A PERSON, then the second sign $15 A PERSON. I paid $15, but my friends paid $18 A PERSON. The employee was rude and said no it's $18. Even though, I just paid $15 and the closest sign to us said $15... ‍‍ For the price, I would rather go to another spring instead next time. I believe itchetucknee and those springs are normally $6 or so a CAR vs $14-$20 a person. Same beautiful cold water. State parks are just closed right now because of corona. Of course, water was great like normal. Clear beautiful, cold, refreshing water. I would of loved it a lot better if random people weren't bumping into me during this coronavirus mess. Oh and there was a snake, but that didn't bother me that much compared to all the people and trash. POSITIVES: the natural water, random guest's music choices , and the pump to blow up tubes. We are off to a HORRIBLE start, Ginnie Springs. I hope I am able to update my review after I leave this weekend. Now, I'm writing you while standing in line JUST to get a car pass - I've already paid. It's been OVER AN HOUR and your one staffers has been standing to flirt with a group of six girls - all who cut line and are paying separately--while 100 people wait in line behind them. When the lady who is next in line asked for a manager, he immediately came to the staffers defense and continued to argue with the line that we were in the wrong for "not being patient because he is obviously doing the very best he can." Ha. It would've been significantly more worthwhile for him to jump behind the busy counter and help all of us instead of wasting even more of our time. What could possibly take this long? Why is there no line for people who have already paid up front? Why can't I get my parking pass when I drive through the first checkpoint? I have so many questions for this insanely inefficient model. Yes, I'm done this review, and yes they're still there. GRRRRRR read more

This is one of my favorite places ive been to. awesome time floating the day away. be ready to paddle to the springs there are a few down the river, that is where youll find that clear blue water! It does get busy so keep that in mind, and youll find lots of young people go here especially on a holiday weekend, but I love being around people doing there own thing so it does not bother me. Went here on a Sunday afternoon. It was quite busy for the day but that was to be expected on a weekend. When you enter the park, it is $15 per person plus $15 per float rental. Parking was a nightmare but again it was very busy. There is entrance for you to enter the spring and the current takes you down the river. It was a beautiful and refreshing! I would definitely recommend anyone to go for the day or even to go camping (there is a campground on site). If you decide to get on the spring I would recommend going on a weekday when it's less busy. read more
