Our family could not be more thankful for their timeliness and quality. We will definitely be using them again for any future contracting or home improvements needs.

Rodriguez Remodeling is the best. Period. Originally came out to fix some drywall damage leftover…read morefrom an air conditioner install. So right there, a major Valley a/c company uses them to fix any damage done during installation. So we thought, we'll have them do some other work. And it kept on from there. First, they finished our bathroom remodel after the original contractor totally screwed it up and wasn't close to finishing. Two weeks later - all done. Wonderfully. Then we had them add a porch extension to the upstairs and downstairs. Again, wonderful work, done at a reasonable pace. VERY well done. We have a daughter who cannot be allowed access to the kitchen. First, they came up with a gate. THEN, they created a lock that can be easily opened by everyone in the family - even my 85-year-old mother - except my daughter. They have fixed electrical problems in my house, and plumbing trouble. All done well the first time. I hate to give them such a great review, because we still have a lot of work left on the house. But, they are the best.

This is a long review and if you don't want to read everything below, just know that these are…read moreuntrustworthy people plain and simple. If you need a custom home built then you would be in better hands elsewhere. I could not recommend them less. ----‐---------------- We started this process on good footing, we spent time getting to know their team, talking through the project and setting expectations. We read their positive reviews and they put on a good face. But soon after construction started we realized that this team is completely out of their depth. As a whole they are destructively uncommunicative and are outright deceitful, Cesar their GC, and Katherine one of the business owners, particularly so. When problems were encountered, instead of working through solutions together, their strategy was to stall for as long as possible and to ignore our attempts to keep the project moving forward. Their behavior cost us months of delays which resulted in thousands of dollars lost, needless worry and lasting issues with our home and property. If you decide to move forward with this team, please keep record of every interaction, be extremely specific in your contract, and keep your attorney on hand. After our move in, and after clear explicit instructions from me on numerous occasions, business owner Katherine illegally and covertly recorded the exterior and interior of our property on multiple occasions, including video recording me inside of my home while I was unaware. Katherine and the rest of the team do not care about legality, your privacy, or the basic respect of their clients. During the build they tried their best to get more money out of us while delivering substandard work. The only way we were able to move into the home after many months past our projected move in date and many weeks spent in extended stays was by going around them to schedule our final inspection with the county, by communicating with our title company & lender, by filing complaints with the BBB and ROC. Stay on top of your project. If you are providing custom architectural plans, please know that the time, money and planning that went into your build documents mean nothing to them, they will do as they please without your intervention. Consent is not a word in their vocabulary. They changed our home and design, damaged our newly installed materials and appliances, illegally dumped their waste on our property & refused to properly clean up, refused to do work explicitly outlined in our contract, and attempted to cut corners at every turn. They're unwilling to learn, improve or accept responsibility. Through my interactions with this team I have come to learn what the term "gaslighting" means. They continued to smile in my face, offering pleasantries and small talk, expecting me to quickly move past their damaging behavior while their actions and words remained persistently harmful. Save yourself the trouble.

In 2019 Trevor Day of Stronghold remodeled our bathroom in Chandler. Wow! He did an amazing job!…read more Check his website photo gallery for pictures of our "Chandler Bathroom" project. Trevor has extensive knowledge about all phases of construction and has a great eye for layout and design. Our project required gutting the existing space, including jackhammering the shower floor pan, as well as expanding the footprint of our master bathroom. In addition to handling all phases of the construction, Trevor also guided us through selection of cabinets, plumbing fixtures, tile flooring and a barnwood accent wall. He pointed us to suppliers throughout the Valley, all he has done business with before. The tile work in the shower and floors is meticulous, and beautiful! Our accent wall gives a warmth that we love and he even installed Bluetooth speakers in our shower celing. Trevor is talented and professional. He's very easy to work with and will help you achieve your remodeling dreams as he did with us.

Youssef and all of his subs are *FANTASTIC* and the best I have ever worked with (and I've worked…read morewith many). Here why (with details below): He OWNS the work and takes full responsibility for everything and fixes every mishap BEFORE you even ask; His primary subs (carpentry, electrical, flooring, trim) are all GREAT; he's one of the easiest, kindest, and most compassionate people I've worked with; and he knew when to tell me when an idea or suggestion I had was infeasible or too expensive. More deets: On OWNERSHIP and RESPONSIBILITY - Our shower glass walls were a little short. I didn't even know enough to know this was a solvable problem, but he made the third-party glass company take the segments back and replace them with segments that fit even more perfectly and beautifully. There we a couple of other instance and there was never accountability squirm.... Honestly that's unlike 95% of contractors. ADVICE - If the lighting wasn't going to work or look nice, he told you. If the switches we're in the wrong place in the blueprint, he told you. If a door or opening would have been better served with a pocket door instead of a swinging door, like into a bedroom closet, he told you. He told you nicely, politely, never insinuating that I did not know what I was doing or that the architect was bad or wrong. He'd just politely and slowly walk me through a few different scenarios and the real life placement of things and was 100% right in all of his corrective suggestions. The one time I did not listen to him and thought I knew better, after a few months I realized I was completely wrong. MAIN SUBS - Whenever his subs were scheduled to show up, they did, on time, always clean-cut and professional, smiling, and happy. They cleaned up EVERY DAY. Other previous contractors thought nothing of leaving trash on the floor or even dangerous nails when I had small children in the house. I think he is one of, if not, the BEST IN THE BUSINESS and I plan on doing more with him in the future.
