Honest service and advice, very fair pricing and fast accommodations…read more I have saved so much time and money using this garage. Several times I had the dealer hand me a $2000+ list of things I needed to do only to find out a third were not needed and the rest were double the price. As I wait for my car during services I constantly see panicked walk-ins that are taken last minute or hear calls that they agree to take same or next day. The only problem I have ever had in the past was they were always so busy it would be hard to get them on the phone. The employees were handling phones and the car work. They have since hired an amazing person in the office that is a pleasure to talk to and makes using Barrington Auto even better.

Great little family owned auto repair shop…read more I had my oil changed at a chain shop and asked about a noise I had heard in my front tire. Needless to say by the time my oil change was done I had a laundry list of issues quoted with a hefty price tag. A family friend seeing my distress, recommended I take the car to see Mike at Dellefrattes Auto before I do anything else. I dropped the car off Tuesday night and had it back with all the important repairs done by Saturday afternoon. (Anything unsafe or that would make it fail inspection, which was also coming up!) When I picked the car up Mike took the time to go over all repairs, made recommendations on maintenance going forward and really took the time to answer any of my questions. I ended up getting more repairs done for less money and walked away confident that my car is safe! I would recommend trying Dellefrattes Auto for all types of auto repair services. They lose one star because parking is tight - if your parking skills are not great - let them squeeze your car in for you - they do a good job of fitting them all in!

I'm rating them as a gas station, not on automotive repairs. Yes, it's cool to see a gas station…read morethat still does automotive repairs. And, it's rare nowadays to see a gas station that has some full-service pumps. But, they are so cramped for space that I literally caused a one-man traffic jam in the lot just parking to use the air pump. Worse yet, the filling ports for the underground fuel storage tanks are in front of the garage bay doors, so if my modest-sized work van caused such chaos, I can only imagine how much worse navigating the gas pumps would be when a tanker truck is making a fuel delivery. Other reasons for my low rating is that they do not sell diesel fuel, and only have the barest selection of drinks (one small cooler) and snacks. I get that it's a gas station/automotive repair garage, and not a convenience store, but if you have to make a stop, why not stop at a place that has both? They sell BP-branded gas, and the price was about average. Oh, and the air pump was free.
