We finally confirmed a date for May 2nd, and she emailed saying that "in order to secure the date, I need to send a deposit of $500.00." I asked to have a phone call before I just Zelle money to a random person, but she said she doesn't take phone calls from clients because she's too busy. She then said there is someone else wanting May 2nd and for me to hurry with the deposit. So I went ahead with good faith and Zelle'd her $500.00 on Friday. She sent me her contract Friday night, which was Passover, so we were busy with the family holiday and didn't get a chance to fully review the contract until Sunday morning. Which at that point, she emailed me saying that May 2nd is no longer available, and the contract had been canceled. I sent the deposit with the confirmation that it was to secure the May 2nd date. There's no other date that works for my family, so I asked for a refund since she can no longer honor the agreed date. At first, she said no, her policy is no refunds on deposits. She then said, okay, she will refund me but it will take 3 business days. And now she is completely refusing to refund us, and stopped all communication, and said she's reporting us to her bank as fraud! Like, are you kidding me! She blatantly stole money from us! It's clear this lady is a professional scam artist and does this shady stuff often. I should have known when she refused to speak with me on the phone. Red flag! We honestly don't know what to do, or how to get our money back. As a client I would beware of this lady! It's so sad how dishonest some people are. I believe in Karma and I know karma will do its job with this lady!

He is incredibly friendly, easy going, and knowledgeable. We agreed to do an engagement session, 1 location for 90mins to see if we'd be comfortable working with James. It couldn't have gone better. Initially, we were a bit stiff, but James gave us tips on how to act naturally, suggested poses and hand positions that made us feel and look relaxed. The time flew by and we actually ended up going to a second location with a wardrobe change. Overall, it was about 2 hours. James did not mind at all. In fact, he probably could've gone longer if the sun hadn't set on us! Our photos were edited and received in less than 2 weeks! James was kind enough to print a large poster and sign that shipped to our house in just a few days. He price matched any package/prints from other photographers. Having gone through our engagement session seamlessly, we hired James to shoot our wedding as well. He and an assistant were on site for 10 hours, tending to our every need and keeping us on our timeline. After our planned family/wedding party photos, we hardly even noticed them working as we proceeded with wedding events. After the wedding, we received many compliments on how great James was and several guests asked for his contact information. Within a couple of days, we received a preview of about 20 photos highlighting our big day. We were thrilled! Every important moment was captured so elegantly! The full magazine of photos was available for download in about 1 month. James then worked with us to print a high quality photo book for our coffee table.
