Had 3 parties seated before us that came after us in our number or larger. Annoyed. Hosting sets the tone of your restaurant if you can't start off on a good foot it ruins the majority of your experience. read more

The food here was pathetic. I ordered catfish with fries and a side salad and my wife ordered a dinner salad w/ chicken fried chicken. First off the dinner salad was nothing more than iceberg lettuce with cucumbers and tomatoes. The waitress never came around to check if we needed anything. Crackers would have been a nice option for the salad but no one came anywhere near us after serving the salad. Then the catfish came out and I'm not quite sure this was catfish? It was mediocre at best, the fries were lukewarm, the jalapeño cornbread was hard as a rock (no butter to help soften it up), the two hush puppies were ok I guess. The highlight of my meal was a $6 pint of Michelob ultra! My wife's dinner salad was just a larger version of my side salad with COLD fried chicken on it! If you're at Choctaw casino I would recommend walking past Gilleys and try something else at the casino, i haven't had anything else at the casino but I promise you they would have to really work at it to suck worse than Gilleys! read more

I think chewing on a piece of leather would have been better than the steak and brisket here. The drinks were "ok", my husbands beer was warm, but our waitress was nice and friendly. read more

Worst experience ever. Had to stop a waitress to take our food order, then a few minutes later she asked if we wanted something to drink. Never came back to our table. A guy brought our food and another girl took our money. Nachos were stale and watery. read more

Typical precooked, frozen, bar food. Atmosphere was fun to watch a football game but the food was no good. I was pretty disappointed. Ok for snack food all fried in the same grease. Have enough drinks and you'll be fine read more

Seated after 35 minute wait by hostess. Drink order by second person. Finally saw waitress and ordered. Food came out (4th person). Chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes MISSING gravy...brisket nachos had maybe 2 oz. of meat on them. Got the watery gravy bowl from server (Not waitress). Finally waitress came by 90% thru meal, asking how was food. Um, it was bad but would have been nice to tell you the potatoes were cold a couple minutes after service. Oh, I'm so glad you're sorry. Offer a complimentary dessert or discount for crappy food? Nope. Awful service and poor food. Just go to Smash Burger instead, you'll be happier. read more

Service with a smile is not their motto. We have been here before and had a pleasant experience however, this time it was completely different. All of the waitresses were standing around at the waitress station ignoring customers and looking like they were all unhappy to be at work. If you are going to have a place for waitresses to stand around then perhaps it would be better to put it where customers cannot see them. Our waitress took our order for food before even asking if we wanted an appetizer, and then brought us our check before we finished eating and did not offer any dessert. We felt rushed and like it was bothering her to even service is. When taking our order, she asked my father-in-law what two side dishes he wanted with his meal then his food came out with completely different side dishes, her response was "oh I forgot you don't get a choice with that meal". That could've been explained to him before his food was brought and he was served items he does not like. It is not likely that we will be back. read more

Gilley's - Riding the bull last time (was broke this trip) - Bars Near Me - Durant, Oklahoma

Only because zero isn't an option. Lousy food. Lousy service. Staff looks at phones while beverages need refilling. Bad is not strong enough. read more

Ate there last week and the ribs were so over-cooked you couldn't even stick a fork in them. We decided to give them one more try (since the line at the buffet was so long) but skip the ribs. We ordered the Quesadillas and pepper jack cheese sticks. The Quesadillas were burnt as well. I guess you don't have to worry about getting any disease here from under-cooked food. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. There won't be a third time. read more

It is a pretty rough experience. 10 + minutes for a beer, standing at the bar! Under staffed!!!!!

Can this be any worse? Fifteen minutes to get a drink. Forty for an ap and no plates, because they're busy. ...And hey, I have time to write a review because an hour out and we still haven't seen entree. Look at the calendar, there is a concert tonight. #worstexperienceever read more

Second trip worse than the first. Thought we would give it another shot since our last visit here was over 2 years ago. The service was horrible then and the food only mediocre. This time, we didn't even get served. Four tables occupied at 5 on a Saturday. No one eating. Seated right away but no waitress. Five minutes in, no service. Greeter finally came back and said we should have a waitress shortly. Brought us water after another five mins. The table next to us left. We flagged the greeter down again and she said they were in the middle of a shift change. Three or four girls waiting tables in the bar, not none in the restaurant? Didn't want to chance it and left. Why keep the restaurant open if all you want to be is a bar? read more

Very disappointed in the food. Honestly the worst macaroni and cheese I've ever had. It was like weird fake cheese mashed noodles with a few whole ones mixed into it. read more

We went there tonight after the Jethro Tull concert, amazing Led Zeppelin cover band, door guy was awesome, then it went to the shitter after that!!! Sat at a I see what you did there!!!!table for 20 minutes (I'm a bartender) saw a "manager" that funny, I asked for menus after the wait person gave me the "I see you give me a sec" bahaha got up ask for menus and They said we don't serve after 10... it's Choctaw put a sign out read more

The first time I went to Gilley's I had the brisket and it was very good. This time we were told they were out of brisket and chicken. We had the chicken fried steak and although it was huge, the meat tasted old. The beans were terrible. They tasted like they had been cooked over a charcoal grill and some of the fuel had gotten into the beans. The okra was not good. It was undercooked and very slimy. I was sick all night from the food. I was very disappointed. How do you run out of brisket and chicken if you own a restaurant. I don't think any one really cared about any of the food or lack thereof. read more

Had a terrible experience. There were four people in our group we received our sodas quickly and then proceeded to wait over 40 minutes for our food. We noticed everyone who came in after us had received their food and we saw our waitress who never came back to our table after the drinks and we motioned for her to come to our table she proceeded to yell from two tables down I put your order in its coming very rudely! I couldn't believe it, so rude! So we went to the cashier and said we wanted to pay for our drinks and leave, which she charged us for and did not seem to care about why we were leaving after waiting over 40 minutes. Very bad service, the staff doesn't care at all!! I will never go back. Every other restaurant and food establishment here I have had a great experience so I was very surprised that Gilleys staff were so horrible! Don't waste your time or money here. read more

Food had been warmed over several times, must have been under a heat lamp. Baked potatoes hard and wouldn't even melt the butter. Steaks were over cooked and also had been sitting some time before they were served to us. Management did offer a free desert...lol $5.00 a beer ...Really! read more

Was a slow night, but the waitress was very friendly. Loved the decor. Had the nachos, flying hogs and jalapeño beans. All very tasty.

Not what we expected. Service poor. Had a picture of a beer we wanted and asked the waitress for the beer and she said they didn't have it.

Kind of a slower week night but staff was very attentive and food was really good. Manager (Bobby?) even came by and thanked us for coming in and mentioned they have events every weekend. Might have to swing by this weekend and watch the Mayweather Pacquiao fight. read more

Hands down some of the worst service. Even the guy servicing a machine next to me was nicer. Sat at the bar and literally had to yell at the bartender to get her to get me a drink. Saw several people come up to the bar to only be ignored as well by not one or two bartenders but three. No sense of urgency or care. Awful awful awful. read more

Went for the evening entertainment, band was ok for a free concert, but everyone stands on the dance floor to watch the band so you cannot actually dance, which was the main reason we went. Also, my wife was driving and therefore not drinking but the bar staff refused to serve her a water - have no idea why. read more

I read a lot of bad reviews about this place and honestly I think the people who write them are mad because they lost money at the casino. I go at least once a week and have never been disappointed. I've had, on multiple occasions, the chef personally come to our table to ask us how we were and our thoughts on the food. It's the best place to get a chicken fried steak in texoma. The prices are a little steep but that's to be expected from a restaurant inside a casino. The wait time on weekends can run up to 30 minutes but again that's be to expected when the whole place is packed for a concert and people don't want to leave their tables so they can watch the entertainment. I read the reviews from the lady about her "wilted" salad and know that to be false. I've gotten that salad multiple times and those "wilts" are actually grill marks. It plainly says on the menu "grilled" romaine lettuce. Heard they have a new menu and am excited to check it out. Highly recommend 6 out of 5 stars! read more

The food is ok and the live music is good at night. The bartenders during the day do not know the meaning of service with a smile. I thought our bartender was having a bad day so I came back the next day, got the same daytime bartender in the bar area. She frowns all the time, rolls her eyes if you ask for anything extra like mayo, exhales loudly as she walks off shaking her head because you wanted to change tables because the seats were sticky. The seats never got cleaned, by the way. The nighttime staff seems to be more friendly. I'd give it **** 4stars if they had friendly staff during the day. For the daytime bartender staff, some advice, If you don't realize you're in the hospitality business or it doesn't suit you then don't do it. Find a job that fits your personality better. Don't ruin everyone else's time that you are serving. Everyone is here to get away from stress, not to have more caused by your dismissal attitude. read more
