buffalo wings
Jessie J.

This was my first time back at this gilley's in years. I got buffalo wings for my entree, something I remember being great which thankfully still was! I really wanted a caesar salad, but was a bit thrown off by them only offering a full entree version (even without protein added, it was huge.) I started with fried pickles which were great, but came out without the chipotle ranch which truly made them so much better when I did finally get it. Our server was sweet, but was less than informed when we had questions. Things came out in a timely manner & the venue was clean with friendly staff. The food was generally overpriced, but unfortunately that's to be assumed at a casino.

Yes please--fried pickles

Stopped in on a Thursday evening when we were wandering around the casino and saw the sign for bar trivia--yes! They were on the 4th question so we joined in with no expectations. Got our table and cocktails, ordered fried pickle appetizer because I have a type and these did not disappoint--crispy, pickly, and served with a side of ranch. The room is open to the casino with a mini Gilleys vibei can't see Bud and Sissy falling in love two stepping around that tiny dance floor but the ambience was there. Answered a few trivia questions and gained a few trivia points. Let's do this! We both ordered the chicken tenders--he asked for onion rings and I asked for a double salad instead of the dinner salad that came with the dinner. A few more questions, a few more points ... and we were no longer in last place despite our late start! Yes! Salad came out and instead of a bigger bowl, I got two dinner salads--eh, no big deal, just enjoyed my big salad in two bowls, lol. The chicken arrived and it was a pile of chicken indeed! No way we were going to finish it all but we did our level best. And we came in third on the trivia out of a field of about 10 teams. Not too shabby! The only ding is that the $25 we won was not actually put on our players card--sad trombone.

Absolute must have on your visit!!! Kristie B. was an amazing bartender, her ability to multitask is something to be recognized. Her clear communication and happy demeanor was highly appreciated. She had a full bar and ten tables to serve. Way too much on her plate But managed well. We had blackened catfish and ribeye. The ribeye I ordered rare which came well done and the catfish was too seasoned but overall very good. Kristie's service was what will bring us back.

Wow, I want to recognize Kristie B. for busting her ass and making everyone happy. Watching her work was amazing she really good with customer service and consistent communication to all patrons, you can see by the way she works that she loves her job. She definitely had more tables then she should have and a full bar on top of it. Myself working in the service industry for 15 years, I understand and appreciate her struggle, hustle and effort. I've been a manager for 13 years and rarely see such work ethic. This place is so lucky to have her!

This is a cool spot inside the Choctaw Casino and Resort. We had dinner on a Saturday evening and there was no wait. The food was ok. I had a salad with grilled chicken. The chicken was slightly over cooked. The drinks were good. There was a Garth Brooks cover band that played from at least 10-midnight. We enjoyed listening and watching as people two stepped and twirled on the dance floor. If you are looking for food and drinks and a good time you might find that at Gilley's!

"Salad"
Tara E.

This place is a joke for food or service- $5 for a "salad" that was actually burger toppings. Oh and the manager brought it out; I had no silverware and then had to wait while the bartender walked past me, and spoke to the manager in the kitchen line, then exited the other way. Do not go here if you want quality food. This place must only be for drunk dancing in the middle of a casino. The bartender did comp the salad so there's an extra star.

Great bar inside the Choctaw Casino. They had Metal Shop, a Dallas 80's rock band, playing after the Scorpions concert. Fantastic music and beers.

I wanted to watch the Dallas game and I had heard the food was decent here. I had a burger of generous size and it was quite good, but a bit pricey. My server/bartender (Adrian) was very busy but he was attentive and efficient. I ended up giving up on the game because it was storming and the satellite kept losing the signal, but that couldn't be helped. Overall a good experience, though.

Chicken Fried Steak

I really wanted to like this place because it's convenient being in Choctaw when you want to sit down and eat, and especially when the service this time was really fast and awesome. My favorite thing were the mashed potatoes because they were mashed with the skin and that's my preferred choice versus when you can tell they came from a box of dried potato purée.. The chicken fried steak itself was so chewy I almost choked it was so hard to eat unless I drownedddd it in gravy. Wouldn't recommend overall. Twice been here and disappointed with the food. First time was with burgers and fries. Don't recommend that either.

So, it's busy. I get that and the waitress and cooks turned out our salads in great time - but if you could only see WHAT they turned out. They took my wilted salad with brown avacado off our bill. But please be more professional and don't let junk leave the kitchen. This should have never made it to my table.

Would not let two 20 year olds dance, parents present. Literally no one on the dance floor. Not mentioned on website.

I love this bar but when the mechanical bull is gone it breaks hearts. I love riding the bull and it's a major bummer when it's not here.

Overcooked, under flavored. Gilleys, go for the drinks and the atmosphere. Skip the food.

Great things about this restaurant: * Hooks under the bar &…read moretables for a handbag. * Great ambience with soft lighting (easy to read the menu). * Linen napkins. * Heavy upscale silverware. * Table decorations (live Freesia in a small vase + a real, honest-to-goodness candle!). * Live music on Friday night. * Social time, i.e., happy hour, runs between 4 and 6. Some of their great appetizers (think $$) are half price. We had the Lamb Chop Lollipops" -- scrumptious! Too bad there are only 3 cause we both could have eaten 2 more each. * Squash soup was awesome. * Filet mignon was perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful. * House wines are $5! And, they serve them in those normal wine glasses, which was a very pleasant surprise. My only complaint was that the Salmon dish (recommended by our waiter, Aaron) was flavorful but overdone and very dry. IMHO, salmon should be cooked medium rare for optimal flavor.

We visited this restaurant on 3/14/26 around 10:30am. The…read morerestaurant is gorgeous. Feels very high end, especially for the area. The staff treats you like royalty, even opening the door for you. You instantly feel like you are about to have a great experience, and we did. We ordered the blueberry basil and ricotta bruschetta for an appetizer and shared the Korean beef omelet with breakfast potatoes for our main. The appetizer was 7/10. The blueberries were warm, the cheese was creamy and the crostini it was served on wasn't too crunchy. That being said, I wouldn't order it again. I know the chef meant well when creating this but we just didn't feel like it went well together. The main was 8/10. I will forewarn you that it is a heavy dish. The flavors were great. The beef has a pot roast texture which threw us off a bit. All that being said, everything was exactly how the menu described it and along with that it was hot and fresh. Side note- they have a beautiful bar and a great dinner menu and we look forward to going back. Also their cocktail menu is the most unique I've seen in the area.
