I'm writing this review for my dad, who had a fence put in by A-1 Kendrick Fence. Let me start off…read moreby saying, the fence looks pretty sad. It's all uneven and a mess. My dad has tried to reach out to them on multiple occasions, left multiple messages, and no one will return his call. Just a few issues he named were: the salesman was supposed to come by when the workers started the fence; however, he did not. The salesman didn't do most of the things he stated he would either. They were suppose to use ring neck galvanized nails and didn't, the holes were supposed to be 15" depth but they are all uneven, a lot of the 2x6's were all spaced differently, they cut all the 4x4's before setting them, which is part of the reason why the fence looks all uneven, it took them 3 different trips to cut off the old 4x4's so mower won't hit. The one positive review he had was that the lumber looked good. However, that isn't much help when the fence is all uneven and messy looking. For the money it cost to have the fence replaced, it should look perfect but it doesn't and no one at the company seems to care.

The recent experience I had with this company has left me disheartened and dissatisfied. With the level of professionalism received, I would have been better off buying the material myself and getting someone off the streets to put this fence up with giving them money for beer or their drug preference. Mr. Reisinger, representing A-1 Kendrick, accompanied me on a walkthrough of my property to determine suitable locations for fence markers. Following this, he completed the markings without my presence and requested my signature on the associated document, indicating the completion of the task. Trusting that he had adhered to my explicit instructions during the walkthrough, I promptly signed the document. Upon my return home, however, I discovered that the fence markers did not align with the locations I had specified. When I raised this concern with Chris, he justified the deviation by citing aesthetic considerations. Despite my explicit desire for the markers to align with my property line, Mr. Reisinger failed to rectify the error. What is particularly disconcerting is the evasiveness and excuses I have encountered in my attempts to address and resolve this issue with Chris, representatives who inspected the fence, David Gonzales via office@a1kendrick.com, and Mr. Justin Chamblee via email which I consistently requested the issues to be addressed or the fence to be retrieved, with a refund of the amount paid. This would have allowed me to engage another party to install the fence according to my specifications. I engaged A-1 Kendrick with the belief that the company had a reputable standing, but the handling of this matter has significantly undermined that perception. After waiting to receive a resolution from A-1 Kendrick, I received a notice to appear in Rankin County Justice Court which is very convenient for them due to this county justice system being currently under review for racial discrimination. During the trial, Chris questioned whether I expected the fence to be installed through a tree, which is the excuse he gave the reason he didn't put the markers where I requested. I explicitly clarified against this scenario and stated my expectation was for timely communication if obstacles arose, rather than arbitrary placement based on subjective opinions. Chris continued to be caught in lies during the trial and the judge still rendered her judgement in Chris's favor with proof of his lies. Now I have to consult a professional company to rectify these issue which will cause more money. This experience has not only been frustrating but has also damaged my trust in A-1 Kendrick's commitment to customer satisfaction. I hope that this feedback prompts a thorough investigation into the matter and a resolution that reflects the level of professionalism I initially expected from this company.
